I was in the mood for a Chai tea, and I happened to be in the area. There were two couples in front of me and only one person was working. At no point, did she acknowledge anyone in the line, not even a look or a simple greeting. As I waited in line, I observed the store and I noticed the case with pastries, looked incredibly stale; I visited around their closing hour, so maybe that's why they looked a bit dry. What I did like: The eatery was very clean and they had a noodle station, I thought that was cute. I haven't seen that in a boba shop before, I would enjoy using it if I run into something like that again, at another shop. My Chai, it was okay. I've found, sometimes, if there's too much syrup, there's an after taste and that's what happened with this drink. I tried to drink as much as I could, but ended up throwing it away. This place sits in a shopping center on the corner of Harwood & Central Dr so it's a good spot to pop in for a treat if you're already right there anyway. The inside of the store itself is super cute! Seating available & fun little drinks you don't see all the time as well as the ramen wall! I have interacted with both the man & woman these other reviews speak of, but I can tell you right now that the donuts & all the other foods are very good, the smoothies are my favorite! The Thai tea with boba is a good choice, but keep in mind this is a donut shop that doubles as boba shop. So these people are up at the crack of dawn like a donut place would be, & then they're open way past the normal time for closing to accommodate their boba business. So as you might imagine, the donuts are going to be the ones they made fresh that morning! Early in the morning! Logic would tell me that they are not going to be fresh because it's past the time frame for that. Last night Our visit to the noodle bar was a frustrating experience. As my family and I walked in, the lone employee behind the counter gave us a glance but didn't bother to greet us. When I said hello, his reply was so unwelcoming that it immediately put us on edge. We moved toward the counter, trying to make sense of the menu and the ordering process, but he was no help. He didn't say a word or ask if we needed assistance. It would have been nice to get a little guidance, especially since this isn't a traditional restaurant setup. The advertised toppings were nowhere to be found, and the donuts looked like they had been sitting there for days. After about five minutes of feeling completely ignored, he finally spoke--only to rudely announce that they were closing and we'd have to get our order to go. That was the last straw for us. I've been here a few times and honestly love this place. I love the hours of this location because it's hard to find a boba place open early in the morning. I also love the combination of donuts and boba. It's the perfect pick me up! Service has been great and the aesthetics of the location is too cute! They use real tea!!!! Such a hard thing to find nowadays. At first I ordered a lavender boba with almond milk less sweet....because I don't normally trust tea outside of my own home it's usually a syrup. Chai has so many health benefits for example but the syrup most places use ...the opposite. My boba drink was delicious and she made it perfectly not too sweet as requested. I finished my drink and then decided to try the oolong! It's not the trendy or aesthetic setting for study sesh or date/friend meetups like some other coffee shops but the quality in having really tea was a huge win in my book! read more

The best little donut shop. We come here once a week - every Saturday after my 3Yr olds gymnastics class. They have the best donuts, I have never had any issues. The donuts always taste delicious. There a filling machine with 3 flavors for filled donuts. All 3 are yummy. Little area with toys for kids. It's super clean shop. Their milk tea is great too. Went there for the first time this morning. The woman that helped us was so nice! She was very helpful when I tried to order boba for the first time. The loot: blueberry cake donut, apple fritter, glazed donut, sausage roll (for free, check your mail!), and an iced vanilla coffee with boba. Everything was very good. The apple fritters are to die for. Super soft but crunchy; new favorite place for the apple fritter alone. And the ice vanilla coffee with boba was GREAT! The coffee was bold and perfectly sweet. I literally came here twice in one day! I love how this is the one donut shop that is open past noon. They still serve donuts until midday and what I love the most is that they have boba tea! The workers there are so very sweet. Even if its one person working and you have to wait to order, they are very sweet and make sure you leave satisfied. Their boba drinks can come out a little too sweet than normal so if you don't like really sweet drinks then maybe ask for it less sweet. Student discount for boba drinks! Staff was very nice and it was extremely busy due to a birthday party. My son ate the donut holes we purchased so I can't speak to the donuts. Even with a pre arranged group on a Saturday they only had two people working. I could tell the girl taking orders was worried about how many orders were continuing coming in that she couldn't go back and help the other person keep up. My son loved the board games they had big things were broken or missing pieces ... so my husband had to hold down the rock-em sock-em robots on the board while the kids played so the kids could actually play it. We decided to get a smoothy without boba cause I wasn't sure how my 3 year old would react. It was still extreme sweet and was very much artificial sweeteners and such in it. Great location for an underserved market. There's only one other Boba tea location in the tri-city area (iTea in Euless). And with donuts! It should be a winning combo, right? I brought my kid here after school and the donuts tasted old. I asked the kid behind the counter how often they make them, and he said after the AM batch, they make them at noon. So I started skipping them in the evening (they're open late, too). No Vietnamese coffee but the kid working there the first time I went made a substitute. Never saw him again though. I tried going here in the morning as a special treat to my daughter. I like it because I love tea and having options at all much less 6am is rare in the midcities. Sometimes they're a bit pokey in the morning when the cashier works all by her lonesome. There's the occasional language barrier too, so double check to make sure they grabbed the correct food you want. I was bummed when I was careful to repeat that I wanted my drink HOT (I even said no when she asked me if I wanted boba and added again I didn't want it in hot tea), but there I was, handed an iced lavender milk tea in 17 degree weather. Not the cozy wake up I fantasized for my commute. She was by herself so I didn't want to make her fix it. I have to go to work, dammit. So, I try again. I see two people in the back, and another person in the front. Cool! Three people. This was promising. I tried again w the hot tea. My kid was able to eat her breakfast while we waited. And waited. Finally, at the 17 minute mark, I rang the bell. She came rushing from the back and apologized for my wait. The tea was about room temperature. She forgot about my drink, and I was a minute late to work. Because they're all over the place, I can't carve out reliable scheduled time to stop by on my way to work and Bun's school, and the food is too stale for afterwards. I'm considering breaking up with them, but I want them to succeed. So many mixed emotions. Only the first visit was great, but each time its been progressively worse. read more

He gave me great service and was able to answer my questions. What a great sign, I can only imagine how great he will be in the future!! While that guy was nice, the ladies coming in and out of the kitchen weren't warm or friendly. Even when they called out that your drink is ready, they don't even say thank you or smile. I don't think they've been trained on customer service very much... but this is a new business and they're going to learn soon haha Food/drink: First off let me say.... I used to work at Krispy Kreme... The ultimate donut shop, so let me share a secret: ALL donut places make their pastries in the morning. I took a bite into the cinnamon twist, and it was fresh and yummy tasting despite the fact :) There was no wait for my donut, but my drink was a different story. If you order a drink, like at any other coffee/drink place there will be a wait. The wait here was a bit long for my drink but no complaints; they're still new and getting in to the hang of things. My drink, the black milk tea with boba, was delectable and delicious! There were even a few popping bobas in it! The boba was cooked well, not mushy but not firm, riiiiiight in between. So I give 4 stars, I'll be glad to add that 5th star if the wait is lessened a bit and if I see better service from the other employees (like saying thank you). Definitely check this place out! Meh. I was super excited to see a boba place near my parents' house, since we are here for the summer. I should have known better when we walked in and there were zero customers there. While my son and I were audibly discussing the flavors, the kid who took our order never told us they were out of Taro until my son actually ordered it (even though I said the flavor numerous times). So, he settled for Thai tea and I had the milk tea. Another family of three or four came in after us and they got their order before us ‍ Ours showed up a little after but I knew I was in for it when I saw the layers in the drink. The coffee jelly had is own layer at the bottom, next was *maybe* a liquid (water/syrup/don't know) and the top was a milky layer. The problem was you could see the granules of the mix used, because they weren't dissolved. My son's Thai tea had a similar strata. Upon tasting it, the consistency was gritty and ill-mixed. If they make a tea and pour it, you'd never know. This stuff tasted like instant milk tea. They also served it with regular lids, not heat-sealed (though there was a sealer on the counter). My daughter had the iced donut holes and she said they were good. But I didn't get to taste them. Not sure how to improve the tea, aside from maybe making batches of a tea base and adding fruit flavors to it. But something needs to change for it to be on par with the other boba in the area read more

Our friends told us about this local place. I had the milk tea with boba. It was really good and refreshing. It was a little on the sweet side so next time I'll order something with less sugar. They have yummy donuts here as well including donut cakes. They have Bavarian creme you can add to the donuts too which is an option I don't see else where.
