I have driven my share of high mileage cars (insert hooptie). Mark and the technicians always tell it straight. They fix only what you ask and/or need and advise you on the right thing to do. They answer any question. Their work is quality, we take all our vehicles here for service and when that check engine light comes on, I'm not worried I will get gouged. I like the former because I can pay for gas through the BP app without whipping out my credit card. Sadly, I couldn't log in to my BP account in late September. The site was being annoying and wasn't authenticating properly. Instead, I hit this Speedway. Speedway also has an app, but you can't pay for gas on it. You can scan your app's QR code for your rewards at the pump. On the rare occasion that the QR code doesn't scan properly, you can submit your receipt on the app and it works well. I've been to this gas station a few times now. I never have an issue finding an available gas station. Filling up has always been smooth. It's also impeccably clean. This Speedway has a convenience store. I have yet to set foot in it. I was here a couple of weeks ago. It was unseasonably hot. Seeing firewood in front of me felt weird. It's perfect if you need logs for your fireplace to get some here. The location is decent. It's off Cedar Avenue, which is convenient. It's also close to where I normally stay in Bloomington, near Mall of America. It's a good gas station. (410)

I backed into a spot and walked into the store. Each Walgreens tends to be set up slightly differently. I had Crest Densify toothpaste greet me. A few steps more, I got a huge Squishmallows plushie screaming at me to take him home. Sadly, I had to pass because he was huge. I was here to get some hair accessories. My hair elastic holder died on me and I needed a replacement. I found the perfect set. Since I do have shorter hair these days, I found some stylish bobby pins that looked like barrettes. I picked those up, too. The sugar-free candies section is incredible. It was my first time seeing sugar-free Red Vines. Who knew? I visited this store on New Year's Eve Eve. There were hats and other celebratory accessories. I have a weakness for Campbell's Chunky Soup. It was a luxury to me as a kid. A soup that eats like a meal? Yes, please! Chunky soup was on sale. I got a can each of the sirloin burger with country vegetables, and creamy chicken and dumplings. I went to pay for my items. I had a nice, polite man help me out. I entered my phone number on the payment screen to get some items discounted. I paid with my credit card and all was great. I thanked the man and headed to my car. Back to Chunky soup, it's perfect when you are travelling because you can lift the lid open without finding a can opener. It's up to you whether you want to heat it up in a small pot or microwave, depending on what you have in your hotel room. My favourite is the sirloin burger with country veggies. It's so hearty and delicious. Towards the end of my stay, I cracked open the creamy chicken and dumplings. It was my first time having it. It may be my second favourite soup now. It was indeed chunky and hearty. The dumplings were pillowy, and are a cross between slippery dumplings and spaetzle. So good! I had a great experience here. My hair accessories are great, too. (18)

Extremely rude, hostile, and unwelcoming experience…read more The man working there (possibly the owner) was openly aggressive toward customers. When I walked in, he was already yelling at a DoorDash driver who seemed genuinely taken aback. The driver calmly apologized for not seeing a note about where to park and politely asked if they could please just get the food so they could do their job. Despite this, the employee refused and continued escalating the situation--demanding the driver move his vehicle, threatening to call the police, and repeatedly ordering them to leave the store. The entire interaction was extreme, uncomfortable to witness and completely unprofessional. The driver remained respectful the whole time, while the employee appeared confrontational and unwilling to de-escalate. I truly don't understand how this business is still operating with behavior like this. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place.

It has fair priced gas, easy access to the streets and highway. Features a car wash and fair grocery items. Staff here is a hit or miss but it was worth going too for my casual visits.
