When I arrived, there was one person in front of me at the pharmacy register. I waited patiently. As soon as that customer was finished, the pharmacy technician told me they were closing for lunch. I explained that I had just received a notification from Walgreens to pick up my prescription, and there was no mention in either message that the pharmacy would be closed between 1:30 and 2:00 PM. Her response? "It's Saturday," said with a dismissive tone, as if I was supposed to know their lunch schedule. Then, right in front of me, she shut the pharmacy gate in my face while two other staff stood aside doing nothing. Not a single person made an effort to help--despite Walgreens being the one to ask me to come pick up my prescription. This was my first time at this location--and will definitely be my last. If this is how Walgreens treats its customers, I'll be taking my prescriptions elsewhere. It would've taken less than a minute to hand me my medication before closing. Instead, they chose to be rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional.

And you're told they're ready and show up and have to wait 45 min because they are not ready. I have never successfully gotten any meds easily renewed here in a timely fashion and it's the only pharmacy near me somehow in this busy city. They make consistent refills impossible for medications I have been on for years it's crazy making.

My review is for getting a PCR NAAT test done at this CVS Pharmacy. I never went inside the store,…read moreas all PCR tests are conducted at the drive-thru. If you have been reading along, I like drive-thrus, particularly during this pandemic. I must admit that this experience was my first time hitting a drive-thru at a pharmacy. I'm the type that likes to browse and shop at an actual drugstore. I signed up for a PCR test online. I found this CVS, which is less than a ten-minute drive from the hotel. It was easy signing up. I also got a text reminder the day before and an hour before my appointment. To re-enter the Canadian border from the States, I needed proof of a negative COVID-19 test. It must be a PCR test conducted within 72 hours of my departure date and time. I wasn't sure how long it would take to get my results from here, but I took a chance and went for it. There were two cars ahead of me at the drive-thru. My appointment was at 11:40 am. I got there early. When it was my turn, it was more like 11:50 am. Pretty good! I had a friendly woman from the pharmacy who found my information and appointment. Even though I am a non-resident, the state picks up the tab for my test. It has a mandate to make sure that everyone can get a COVID-19 test, which I appreciated. Before coming here, I had to watch a video on how to self-conduct this PCR test. She asked if I had watched it. I did. What happens is that you get a package with everything you need to perform this test in your car. It came to me through the slot between the pharmacy and me. I opened it, found the swab, and swabbed both nostrils. You then break off part of the swab and place the cotton part of it with a shorter stick in a sterile test tube. You seal the test tube, and then you place it in a sterile bag that has your information on it. Finally, you drop it off in a box attached to the building. Once you're done, you can leave! The process was straightforward. I was happy. CVS says that it takes between one to two days to get your results through e-mail. I got a text message after the Wild-Leafs game the following night at around 9 pm. So, I got my results in 1.5 days. Pretty good. I was happy with my negative result that allowed me to go home. I then retrieved my report online and took a screenshot. The report looked professional and was fine when I presented it at the airport to the Air Canada check-in agent. I will be getting my test done at this CVS again towards the end of my current trip. I am thankful for this service. My backup plan was to get this test done at the airport. The difference is that you must pay $200 there. Luckily, I didn't have to carry out my backup plan! (475)

Not sure the next pharmacy will be better but you literally couldn't pay me to walk into this store again or use their "drive thru" again. It occurred to me that it doesn't have everything that I want until I visited this store. Well, I broadened my Walgreens shopping horizons on my final full day in Eagan earlier this month. I decided to drive a bit further and drop by this Walgreens. It's roughly double the time to get here (it's not horrible taken ten minutes), but it's worth it. The drive was pleasant on a gloomy Sunday afternoon. There was plenty of parking in front of this drugstore. I backed into a parking spot and walked in. I liked the products that I was looking at. For instance, the face masks with fun cartoon characters, such as Tweety and Scooby Doo, completely caught my attention. Although mask requirements were relaxed in the Twin Cities, I still wore mine in crowded areas. I picked up a few. They are comfortable, practical, and fun. The face products were cool to browse. They were nicely organized with some discounts happening. The Squishmallows section was excellent. I managed to get a small chick one for Easter. It had a clip, which was perfect to put on my backpack. The plushies selection is terrific at this store. From Care Bears to Star Wars, you can find them here. I also loved the handheld Pac-man game, but decided that I didn't need another one. It's amazing how my willpower works from time to time. I saw a huge table full of Arizona drinks. The bottled ones were $1 each. I am used to the canned versions and they were there, too. The best surprise was seeing fresh flowers. My local one doesn't even have fake ones, let alone fresh ones! I like the concept of getting flowers at a drugstore. Stop in. Get some snacks and chocolate. And, get a small bouquet of roses for that special person before heading home. I dig it. I bought a few items and was helped by a friendly man at the checkout. He was personable and delightful. I entered my phone number into the touchpad to get a discount and collect points, and then paid with a credit card. Done! I may consider driving a bit further when I return. I like this Walgreens a lot, more than my usual one by the hotel. It's that good. (130)

For example, a beautifully decorated large cake that serves 24 is only $20. Also, you can't beat their self checkout on their app; it's SO fast and convenient. But if you need to speak to a customer service representative, the lines can get pretty long. When we compare Costco vs Sam's, they are so similar to each other, so if we're getting large quantities of things, I use both of their apps to compare prices before buying. At Costco, I prefer the prepared foods and their milk jugs more than Sam's. But I like Sam's baked goods and rotisserie chicken more than Costco. Both Sam's and Costco have tires, pharmacy, cafe, and optical; they are very similar. Like all warehouse bulk places, prices are usually lower but selection is hit or miss.

Literally the worse experience at the sams club gas station. Tired calling in for the guys name,…read morethey did not pick up. You really really need to hire people that want to work there, are motivated and peaceful. This assbag guy rushed me out of spot, as if thats anything smart to do. My app was acting up, i told him i didnt see you by the office, & he cursed at me and rushed my service saying "f*ck i hate people today" Sir, its nobodies fault but your own that you are stuck working that miserable job. This made me wish AI steps in, he would be out a job and one more person wouldn't have to deal with those idiotic lines. I dont blame them, i blame him. It was an older man in his 60s-70s. He was a fat stocky jerky guy with glasses. Kinda looks like albert einstein. White mustache, whiter hair. Learn to treat people with the same respect they treat you with. I literally live down the block, walking distance from this sams club. I will do everything in my power to make sure you get written up and/or fired for this. Whats so hard about showing the people who help your check some common decency?? This incident occurred at 12:16 pm. I had just got out of dialysis and really needed to put gas in my car. I thought i have a sams club, why not? Its way cheaper. Wrong, i got cursed at, the guy was screaming at me to move my car because i was "taking too long to fuel" it was literally only 2 minutes into me trying to pay for the gas. What a real dirttbag, i just got out of dialysis, as if thats not hard enough to deal with 3x a week, lets throw in a belligerent assman to curse at you and help rush you out the line. I waited like every one else. I will see him eventually, & i will speak my mind. Thats not right that you have employees like that. Scum of the earth. I could of been on my last days, and here goes this asshole screaming telling me about how long im taking.
