Worst hair salon in pennsylvania. They not only take your skin off and burn you when you get your eyebrows waxed but they ALSO hit your head when you have told them multiple times (maybe 20) that you have had a bunch of concussions. Not only that but you will get an ugly bowl cut and $150 dollar hair color at a fancy salon but here it's for TRIPLE the amount!!!!! Save your money. Do not go here. Ever. read more

Take my Mom in to get her hair shampooed and styled, they are always friendly and she has a great experience

My daughter went in for a cut and color. She asked for layers, where the layers would blend or cascade. My daughter's hair is naturally curly so blending layers is needed. the color nor cut were blended well. Denise applied a toner to her whole head but the top of my daughter's hair has a glossy look while half way down her hair turns ashy. Instead of blending the layers a blunt chunk was taken out of the back of her hair. We will be calling as soon as they open to see if we can get it fixed because the bill was $317. read more

I hadn't had my hair cut in months, so I saw Pam, my favorite stylist and she trimmed me up and got me on my way. She had given me a spiral perm in May and it still looked great. I love Holiday Hair. NEVER AGAIN!! I went there for the first time tonight and left in tears and will NEVER EVER go there again! I will be contacting them tomorrow because she had me pay before she was even done so if I liked it or not that's what I had to pay for. From the beginning the stylist (if you can call her that) said to me I don't have time to get your color where you want it. My response was then we can just cut it. But not she still colored it and rather then bright blonde hair I have horrible orange hair! I also came in with hair to the middle of my back and left with it by my ears! I wanted it to my shoulders and the photo I showed her is NOTHING like the cut I asked for. I bawled historically for 45 minutes when I got home! I went in for my son's first official haircut. My son is 5 years old with autism and I tried many times for him to get a haircut and each time we had to walk out, he wouldn't even sit in the chair and I'd have to just go home and get out the clippers and give him just a regular buzzcut. I tried once again for him to get a haircut because he was starting kindergarten and I wanted him to start off with a nice hair style. Denise was the hair stylist and she did a fantastic job. She was so patient and really took her time explaining how everything worked and making him feel comfortable. My son walked out with a great haircut and all it took was that one time with someone with patience to change his mind about haircuts. read more

Kayla Luttrell was the stylist who took my 14 year old son as a walk in. This boy had a mop of long hair and an over grown uni-brow. At the conclusion of a brow wax, wash, cut and style, he walked out looking like a new man! She cut at least 3 inches off and still left enough hair to style. Outstanding job by Kayla. I was pleasantly surprised by the haircut I got. With my curly hair I am always fearful to get a trim..from past experience of getting too much cut off. Sarah was great with me and stuck to my suggestions and made me feel beautiful. Hair trim, eyebrows and lip wax all for 33$, awesome price. The ladies here are lovely, dedicated and compassionate. After calling myself a "loyal" customer to this location for the past two years, an experience there today has me calling it quits with them. My wife and I brought in our son to get his haircut before I got mine. Only two "stylists" were working today, as the rest (including my regular, who is an absolute sweetheart) were on vacation. There was no line, and my son was immediately called back. He is 4, and only needed a quick buzzcut with a #3 guard. During the whole ordeal, the "stylist" keeps telling him curtly to "be still and you won't get hair in your face", which has my wife a bit miffed. He was in the chair a whopping 3 minutes. Biting her lip, my wife escorts my son back to a seat while dad awaits his turn. I get called back, by another stylist (my son's stylist is now finishing up on an older woman who is getting a permanent). I tell the stylist what I want, and proceed to sit back and get my new "do". My haircut is simple... a 1-and-a-half guard, faded WAY up high into the part, and the rest of the top trimmed. It usually takes less than 5 minutes. She does a decent job, but I have to get her to keep cutting up higher, as I DO NOT want a weight line. After finally getting it close to what I want, I stand up and head to the register to pay. I hand the stylist my coupon ($5 off, which I usually save these for when I bring in one of my kiddos to get their hair cut along with me). She tallies it up and says it'll be nearly $30. I ask, "is this with my coupon?" The lady who cut my son's hair curtly says "$18 and $16, sir, without the coupon". I look at the price menu on the wall... I'm being charged the higher rates for both a men's and children's cut, because these two ladies are deemed to be "designer stylists" and therefore can charge the highest rate. I wasn't in the mood to argue, so I added what I consider to be a small tip to the bill (since it is split between two stylists, they each got $4 apiece for two simple haircuts). I'm given a perplexed look by my stylist (who is the cashier on this transaction as well) and I walk out. Last time that place will ever get my business. And from the attitude of the lady who cut my son's hair, it appears as if they couldn't care less. If anyone from the establishment reads this (highly doubtful), please consider these points: 1) If people have to sign in "queue-style", and be called back in that fashion, then it's customary to tell the person that you are a "designer stylist" and therefore charge more. This wasn't mentioned to anyone who was there when we were. I would've questioned it immediately... I'm not cheap by any means, and usually a large tipper, but charging me $16 for a kid's haircut that took 3 minutes... I would've just done it myself. 2) Your method of determining who is a "designer stylist" seems to be based upon tenure alone. Most of the ladies who work here have been there for years... but if they're doing the same cuts day in and day out (kiddie cuts, simple styles for men, and the same ol' permanents and tight curls for old women), then I seriously debate the "designer" part. 3) Kiddos squirm in the chair... they don't like getting haircuts. Especially 4-year olds. If you don't like cutting children's hair, then take a "pass" and let someone else do it who's working that day. You can then go back to servicing your 75-year old clientele. Sorry, ladies... if you don't want families to come in with their needs, then put up a sign. read more

Pam is awful. Do not go to her. She spent maybe 13 mins. to wash cut and dry my hair. She went WAY to fast and all of her mistakes showed. My hair cut looked nothing like what I asked for. She could tell I was not happy and continues to be mean, and drew a picture to show she was right and gave me what I asked for? (So rude!!!) When it was not what I asked for. I wanted my hair to be straight across when it was pulled to the front and it was 4 different length in the front. After going here for 6 years, im never going here again because of her. read more

Don't quote me but I think that's the girls name who did my hair was Denise. Short and tiny best describes her. From out of town and wanted to get my hair highlighted and trimmed. She gets the one star for color but I asked for a trim of 1/2 inch to 1 inch to clean it up. The back of my hair looks like a child cut my hair. I came home with only half of my hair I went in with. I'm so angry that someone that has no idea how to cut hair can do this to someone. read more
