DO NOT STAY HERE. This hotel used to be the Holiday Inn, Clinton. It was a decent hotel, nothing off the top fancy but clean and accommodating. The hotel is now called Liyo and is a disaster, please look at the recent photos before booking at this hotel. We booked on BringFido.com and the images that are advertised on their site as well as the images on the Liyo site are seriously out of date. Let's start with windows boarded up, caution tape throughout the parking lot and inside the hotel. Water damage to the carpets, both in the hallways and in the rooms. Incomplete construction, cargo containers in the parking lot, scrap metal from the hotel stacked up in a pile outside. A broken elevator. Mold in every bathroom, (we looked at three rooms). The last room we looked at was over the pool and reeked of chlorine and chlorine gas, to the point that we had sore throats. This place needs to be condemned and is unfit for occupancy. read more

This is now called the Liyo Inn (which may be included in with the Holiday Inn family or some other giant hotel chain corporation). But here is the low down. There was lots of free parking, but nothing right near the door as the parking lot is off to the side. The upper parking lot looked scary as it had a few abandon tailor containers. The out side dining area in the front looked appealing (though being winter, the area was not open to use). The entry way was clean , modern and welcoming (a large modern beautiful chandelier was hanging from above). Check in was easy and staff generally nice. The rugs in some hall ways were newer but buckled up in area, and rippled. Some roof areas we looked down upon had fake grass carpeting but it was all torn up in chunks and looked hideous (they need to get up there and just pull it all off!). The room was nice, comfortable, clean, and easy to regulate the heat. The interior was updated too. The view was nice too of trees and a hill of homes in the distance. The bed was very plush and made for a good nights sleep. It was very quiet all night as well. The bath room was clean and had updated features too. However, the little shelves in the shower just ruined the whole make over of that area. They were installed or re-installed with some yellow glue that was not cleaned up properly and looked like a mess on the shower walls. At first I thought it was a ton of mold (but thank gosh it wasn't! See photo). The pool on the 2nd floor was enjoyable. It was a salt water pool and the temperature was perfect. They had plenty of clean towels to use at the pool site too, but they were rather small. The area around it was general set up well (looked like a good party area) and for the most part clean. However, there were areas that were chipping, pealing, and in need of some repairs. The live plants around the area looked like they had never been watered and were bunched away in a corner. In addition, some super large dirt filled planters were just filled with dirt and no plants (they could at least place some fake ones in them and not have to worry about watering!!). There were other activities to do in the pool area too (pool tables, a digital juke box and an electronic game). However, the game was turned off, juke box wouldn't play (even though it was on), and the pool table was missing some balls. The worst part was that the lights above the pool tables hadn't been cleaned in a very long time (see photo), gross! The bar on the first floor was nice, not too noisy and a friendly employee working there. In the morning we had a difficult time at the breakfast area attempting to get spoons to eat with. Had to go to the front desk finally to ask for some. The free breakfast was minimal but fine (cold cereal, stale English Muffins, yogarts, apples, OJ). Check out was easy too. However, later on when I read the receipt, it was a different price than what I reserved the room for on line. Cheaper, but still not what I booked it for. But after I checked my charge card statement I saw that they did charge me the higher rate! Just waiting to see if they ALSO charged me a second time on this months charge card bill. I remember going to the lounge here years ago... anyway, this was the closest and most affordable to where I was visiting so I booked it. A bit overwhelming when I walked into the huge lobby and people all around. But has the amenities that I like such as internet computers and fitness room. The only drawback is that the hotel frequently books huge parties such as weddings etc. I'm glad I lucked out on a quieter weekend though I did hear people coming down the hallways throughout the night. read more

We were visiting family who live in the area, and this was the only IHG hotel within the vicinity. We would have stayed at another brand of hotel, but we liked that this location had a pool and an buffet breakfast, as we were traveling with our two young boys who have special needs. We have stayed at Holiday Inn's before, and were always satisfied with the quality and value before, but not the case for this location. First impression: the driveway and parking lot haven't been paved in what seems like a few decades. It was like driving the Burma Road with huge potholes to maneuver. Walk into the lobby, and it's just really dated - something straight out of the 1980s. Check-in/reception was totally deserted at 4pm when we arrived, and I had to shout "anyone working here?" before someone emerged from the office to check us in. I asked what time the pool closed, as this was the main amenity that my children absolutely wanted to partake in and the primary reason for choosing this hotel. The front desk clerk half-apologizes and says that the pool is closed for an event. Thinking he must mean just a few hours, I inquire again when WE could use the pool, and was told that it would be closed to the public for a full 24 hours. It would not reopen until our stay concluded. Disappointed would not be a strong enough word, as we just drove 6 hours and our kids were looking forward to letting off some steam in the pool. It was too cold and nasty for any outdoor activities, so the pool was what we were banking on. Had I known that the pool would be closed to regular hotel patrons, I would 100% have booked elsewhere. As an IHG member, we were given 2 bottles of water as a courtesy gift and were offered a discount at the lounge, which we declined since it would not be appropriate for our family (again, kids with special needs; plus we had plans to see family already). Another positive was that the front desk clerk did put us in a room away from the elevator, ice machine, etc., so that our kids could get restful sleep. The room itself was simply okay. Beds and pillows were clean and comfortable, and room was neat - for the most part. We opened the curtains and found some weird substance smeared on the marble window ledge (see picture), and the window was so old that the seal was broken and it was all dirty and fogged with condensation between the panes (see pic #2). We had a dirty/blurry view of the parking lot, so I guess we didn't miss anything there. It was quiet and we all had a restful night sleep, so that was a plus. The next morning, we went downstairs for the buffet breakfast that we paid extra for with our room rate. The buffet was scheduled to be open another 45 minutes, but it was fully decimated. One pancake left, no eggs, no toast, browned/bruised fruit, etc. I asked one of the employees working this area for some additional pancakes, at the very least, for my kids. She went back to the kitchen and returned apologetic, that the kitchen staff was not making any additional food. She could sense my anger and frustration, because it's one thing to disappoint the kids with the pool not being an option, but now we can't even feed them? I didn't show up 5 minutes before the buffet closed, looking for a feast. I really wish I can remember the staff member's name, because she said "let me see what I can do" and she returned with 3 plates of pancakes for us that she clearly made or reheated herself. I thanked her profusely, because I had two very hungry kiddos and I was at my wit's end with this sub-par hotel that was all but ruining our single-night stay that we paid a good deal of money for. The pancakes were pretty crappy, but her willingness to take ownership of an unpleasant situation and try to make it right was greatly appreciated. She was the one and only big plus of the entire experience. In short, steer clear of this location. Unless they undergo a total renovation, you will be sorely disappointed. Not IHG quality, not even average Holiday Inn quality. More like on par with a Motel 8. read more

Main issue which is a red flag **Bed bugs/bugs on beds. (We went with a big group and 4 couples including us had problems with bed bugs/bugs. Once we received a new room it turned out to be the same room one of the couples had that had bed bugs. The Manager recycled that room without thoroughly cleaning it. In my opinion if bed bugs are found the mattress/bed MUST be replaced and the room MUST be disinfected - which does not take 1 night). We had to ask for the Manager to compensate us somehow for our experience which he should have willingly done already. - Remote controllers do not work for TV. - Thin enough walls to hear people next door. - Stains in bathroom. - Elevators were not working right. - Location is in the middle of no where. DO NOT STAY HERE! The first thing I noticed was the horrible mold in the room which had me sneezing every 5 minutes- otherwise it seemed clean and I was tired so I chose to ignore that. Then came the SCREAMING and banging on doors of a herd of unsupervised kids at nearly midnight ----Who lets their kids do that??? For not just a minute or two (at first I thought they were just on the way to their room but 30 minutes later it was clear they were just running amok on the entire floor with no end in sight. Turns out the entire family and extended family of management lives here full time - I suspected so and then saw other reviews from months back describing the same exact group to a T - the unsupervised kids on scooters and the managements blatant unwillingness to do anything about it - rooms with over a dozen people in them and screaming children running unsupervised up and down the hall after 11pm. A whole block of rooms with open doors where people were just coming and going. Drove 10 hours today and clearly wasn't going to get any sleep here. Called front desk and the guy could care less. Said he called the parents but could not leave the desk (which was hilarious because when I arrived to check in there was a sign saying the front desk would be right back while I stood there for 15 minutes waiting for someone to check me in.) He knew exactly who I was talking about and which room they were in which is why I guessed they were family. I told him I would have to go personally to tell them to quiet down if he would not (which I obviously did not want to do) So unprofessional - he still refused and sounded bored. He said he'd call them again (because clearly that's working) I finally did go to the room myself and the door was half ajar with over a dozen adults and more children having a party. I asked them to please quiet down (I honestly wasn't very nice at this point understandably) Grown men just stared out of the room grinning like it was absolutely hilarious and then a teenager with their group approaches from down the hall way and starts yelling at me at for telling them to quiet down. I ended up getting a refund and leaving. Again the guy at the front desk could not care less and was really rude- he refused to give me a receipt of the refund or proof I was not going to be charged and just said there was no charge (even though my citi card online already shows the charge) I'll be filing a chargeback with my credit card. I'm only giving 1 star because negative stars is not an option. To say that the experience was subpar is being very generous. Originally, I had booked a room for Friday, July 2 - Sunday, July 4th. Our plans shifted and I needed to change the reservation to Saturday - Monday instead. In total, I spent 121 minutes on hold and spoke with 7 different people over the course of 3 days to change the check in and out day of my stay. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. I arrived at the hotel on Saturday, July 3rd and checked in. We went up to the 5th floor. We got to our room and as soon as we entered all you could smell was a moldy, mildew smell. There were stains on the sheets and curtains, mold (furry white nastiness) inside the dresser where the refrigerator is and some unexplainable splat marks on the side of the dresser. There remote had some sort of brown stains on it. Immediately, I went to the front desk and spoke with someone (later to find out he was a manager there). I shared with him the condition of the room and he said he would send someone up to put new sheets on. He didn't offer to clean the rest of the room or move us to a clean room. There was a large group at the hotel - this group was throughout the hotel and had no regard for us also being there. They were making messes in all the common areas (that they didn't clean up and neither did staff), they were riding scooters and hoover boards through common areas and hallways (bumping into us), the children were running rampant and were completely unsupervised. When I addressed this with the staff, I was told that according to their religion they are no permitted to discipline their children for these 2 days. And, when I addressed it with the manager he told me that they have asked a few times for them not to do these things but they just continue. I was appalled that this is the response I got from staff. The staff had zero control over this group and made (as far as I could see) zero effort to wrangle their behavior to ensure other guests could enjoy their stay. On Saturday evening we were sitting on the front patio. The other group came out and all walked around the hotel. A little bit later we could hear fireworks and there was a large cloud of smoke through the parking lot. The other group was sitting on cars (some of those cars belonged to us) and lighting off fireworks. I alerted the manager and he said he would call the organizer of their group. I insisted he needed to go out there and get them off our cars - he did not leave the front desk. No hotel staff went out there to address the situation. We have had our share of really positive and not so great hotels. This experience was by far the worst I've ever encountered. The hotel is more than messy, it is dirty to the point that it's surprising it passes health inspections. The staff all had an apathetic and dismissive attitude. Overall, my recommendation is don't ever stay at this hotel. read more

I guess this place is closing down soon....and it most certainly shows. Hopefully not many else will have to endure this before it's converted to a nursing home. Those poor elderly people. Just generally speaking, all of the staff does not care about any of their guests and get extremely upset when questioned about anything. The room is disgusting, our fridge broke down, and there is no such "room service" if you expect anyone to take your garbage or give you towels. The pool is a measly 3 feet deep and the room is kept hotter than hell itself- something the old people might like! Not us though. The "continental breakfast" is absolutely pitiful- okay, for COVID it seems breakfast in a bag to go is regular- but still the contents are an old bagel, a piece of fruit, and an apple juice? And for reference, of cleanliness, there was a broken Oreo in the elevator for 3 days. Yum! Overall, there's just inconvenience after inconvenience; and I really don't usually complain but this many screw-ups warrants a heads up for other weary travelers. Avoid! read more

I stayed here for two nights and the lobby is by far the nicest I've seen at a Holiday Inn. The rooms, on the other hand - especially the bathrooms - are subpar and in need of renovations. It probably wouldn't kill them to replace the stained toilet seat lid, for example. Between night one and night two housekeeping didn't come until after 5 PM. I left the room around 10 AM and returned at 3:30 only to find it in the same exact state as I had left it, and it's not like a had a do not disturb sign up because there wasn't one to display even if I wanted to. The breakfast was what you'd expect. The usual food suspects and not that good. The OJ was great though. I can't speak for the pool or any of the amenities, but I was impressed by the night club on the first floor. That place gets bumping for a Holiday Inn. It also gets testy. One of the nights, Clinton PD showed up for an arrest after a fight. That said, they do hire lots of security so I'm not sure that's a good thing or a bad thing as a customer. read more

This hotel we booked for a wedding block and the rooms were unclean. The sheets had blood stains and were dirty. The floor was not vacuumed and had stuff everywhere. The bathroom curtains were moldy and the tub refused to drain. On the second night, we got a different room and those sheets were dirty too. No one is cleaning this hotel. Even in the hallways are discarded broken pieces from the rooms and the furniture is torn and worn. Another room had tape stuck all over the walls. We all had a cough from staying in the rooms due to the smell. They might be spraying bug spray in the rooms. Oh and the breakfast is not free. You pay a fortune for heated up frozen food and plain bagels. Absolutely not worth it. Management claimed they have no idea what the upstairs or rooms look like...don't stay at this hotel. read more

I stayed two nights here. Night number one was fine. The renovation project they're doing is annoying and makes the place dusty but whatever. 3.5 stars on night one. Night two however would get a rating of negative 10. Be well warned that this hotel has a habit of bussing in large party groups. The one that showed up on my second night kept half the hotel awake until 4am. The poor front desk girl was helpless and couldn't get in touch with the manager so police were called. Several times. DO NOT RECOMMEND .... Booked one room with a double bed for three adults for four nights. Checked in on our first day at 3 pm, only to be told that our room wasn't ready and that they could either put us in a room with one king bed for the first night or we could wait a few minutes for them to complete cleaning our room with two double beds. We opted to wait since a few minutes wasn't a big deal, and were given some beer on the house since we were waiting. Saw that the beers we received were expired by one year, and 3 months. Shrugged it off, no big deal, since they were free after all. Turns out that was just the first of many red flags. After waiting for our room to be cleaned, we officially checked in and brought our luggage up to our room. Only to find out that despite the fact we waited for our room with two double beds that I had booked to be cleaned, they still put us in a room with one king sized bed. So I went back down to the lobby and told them we needed the room with two double beds, and was asked if the room we received would be okay for the first night and we could be switched the next morning. Seeing as our third guest wasn't arriving until that morning, I said that was acceptable, as long as we were switched into the room I had booked with the two double beds by then. Which I was told would be done. That night we went to the bar for a beer or two before heading up for bed, again, we're served expired beer. The next morning after our third guest arrived, before heading out for the day I asked if they knew an approximate time we'd be able to switch to our new room and was told it would be ready by about 1:00 pm. We returned around 3:00 pm and I asked about the room switch, only to be told that they actually didn't have a single room open with two double beds and that there wasn't anything they could do about it. Absolutely absurd since not only did I book a room with them for three adults with two double beds, but at this point was told by three different people behind the desk that we would get a room with two double beds like I had booked by now. Not to mention there was never more than 15 or so cars in the parking lot during our entire stay. So after calling around to other hotels in the area, they had no availability due to the short notice and the room we would get with them would be identical to the room we already were in. So we decided to stick it out there and I went downstairs to request a cot for our third guest, as well as request to speak to a manager about the whole situation. Was told by the employee behind the desk that the maintenance staff was "looking into" finding us a cot and that the manager had left early for the day and that I'd have to come back the next day when they're in. We did receive a cot for our third guest while we were out and about, however was the worst cot I've ever seen in a hotel. Only about 5 or 6-inches off the ground, and I'm pretty sure prison inmates have better mattresses. Went back the next morning to talk to the manager, not in again. After that we had the same issue that came with being stuck in a room we didn't book; one of us being stuck with a cot to sleep in. But on top of that; house keeping was nowhere to be found, no vending machine and an unplugged ice machine in the "vending and ice" area on our floor, having to call down to the main desk to request simple things such as clean towels, toilet paper, tissues, etc., their was a very obviously and fairly large hole in our shower head that was causing a leak and greatly effecting the water pressure, and our mini fridge was no better than a cardboard box causing our leftovers from the night prior to spoil by the next morning. Last day went to check out and was asked how our stay was, to which I replied "not to good" and began to give our long list of issues, to which i got the reply of "well you should have came and found me". I laughed since this was coming from the same employee I had checked in with, asked me to wait for the room to be cleaned, and the one I first asked to be switched to the room I had booked. He just ignored all of our misgivings about our stay, refused to comp me for any of our inconveniences, and finished off with an ill tasted joke about "when will we be seeing you again? Never?" Would give negative stars if I could, steer clear at all costs. Would be a less frustrating stay if you instead brought a tent and stayed in the parking lot. read more

We stayed just one night. Glad that's all we booked for. We walked in and noticed lemon water in a big pitcher. It did not look appetizing at all. The jar looked like it could use a good cleaning. The reception area also had a faint musty smell. Our room itself was big. The walls looked like they were freshly painted but the lighting was terrible; we really couldn't tell. The bathroom fixtures needed s good scrubbing including the drain in the tub. We wonder how clean was that room, really. We would never go back there and never recommend. Really surprised at the other reviews on this property. Perhaps there was a recent management change. My experience was truly excellent. They really nailed all of the little things that make a difference. The breakfast was as good as any "free" breakfast that I have had. Perhaps a wider selection of fruit would be my only recommendation. Everything in the lobby was easy to access. Coffee was fresh, free, and available early in the morning (Courtyard.... take a lesson on this!). Newspapers available in multiple locations. Ice water, tea bags, creamer, sugar, etc. all easy to find. Breakfast area very clean and well lit and logically laid out. Only real complaint is that the actual room and bathroom layout are very old school. It was clean and the decor was fine but the design is 80s era. I will gladly return here! read more

TL,DR - Dirty rooms, unfriendly staff. So this hotel charges almost $200 a night, so I was expecting it to be nice, clean, and friendly. Unfortunately it was none of these things. To start, we booked a room with 2 beds, but when we get in the room it only has one. So they begrudgingly switch it to a 2 bed, commenting that "that's not what you booked". Get ourselves and all of our stuff to the new room, two beds. Great, we can rest after 9 hours driving. But what's that smell? Oh it's just the mold or mildew completely encircling the air vent. Go back down stairs, get another room. Go back upstairs, move everything to the 3rd room. Get in, look around, and see that there is more mold or mildew in the bathroom, filth all over the mirror in the entryway, and more filth on the desk. Additionally, there's visible water damage to the ceiling tiles and upper wall around the air vent. Basically it doesn't appear to have been cleaned at all. Now this is during the Covid-19 pandemic, so basically there is no excuse for a dirty room. I would rate this 0 if I could. read more

ZERO stars. STAY AWAY. No a/c in hotel for both nites of our stay. Nite #1 we were lied to, told a/c was just fixed, slept in 80 degree room. Nite #2 we were told "the glue is drying" on the a/c repair and would be cool by 7 pm It's almost 10 pm and we're pushing 90 degrees in the room. Someone's having a wedding here tomorrow. Hope the bride and groom find out about the hotel-wide sauna and decide to elope. This place sucks. read more

Not the worst hotel but far from the best. Beware the potholes and aggressive speed bumps as you try to get in their parking lot. Hotel seriously needs some updates- peeling paint, water stains on the ceiling, tons of garbage under the beds that staff doesn't bother to clean, and bathtubs that won't drain were just some of the problems people in our group experienced. The most annoying part was the fire alarms going off for a good part of the afternoon, fire trucks showed up, firefighters spent almost two hours walking around the hotel. We never got an explanation, the staff and management just pretended like nothing happened. Works in a pinch, but I would recommend looking for better accommodations if possible. read more

Business traveler. I don't like to pay a lot because I'm just there to sleep, but I don't like to stay in motel type "tired" places either. This place was great. Recently renovated. The rooms were modern and very clean. LED light and huge HD tv's. The service was great too, even to the point that the maintenance people had brushed the snow off all the cars at 7am after a big snowstorm. It's cheaper and nicer than the Hampton Inn. The Holiday Inn Clinton is a great place to stay. Nice old classy hotel. The service was great. New clean sheets on a comfortable bed. Very convenient with the restaurant and night club right next to the lobby. We stayed on a Tuesday so the night club was slow. Big rooms with a modern flat screen TV. I was surprised to see they had AMC for watching Walking Dead. At the front desk they had a lot of snacks, water, drinks and even cold medicine for a sick kid. We also rode the ETS Airport shuttle from Laguardia. Two hours during rush hour was not bad. Their van was the first van waiting for us when we walked out the door. Took us right to the Lobby of the hotel. The driver even helped us with the bags into the lobby. $209 but worth the convenience. read more

Have stayed here whenever in NJ to visit my family. Our room was spacious and we like the variety of foods they have for breakfast. Also there is a nice dinner menu available which we used our last night there. read more

Attended a wonderful wedding around the area. The hotel while inexpensively priced, needs some work. Unfortunately our room was located right above the night club. Heard the bumping and grinding all night long. Boiler was broken... No heat in the entire hotel. Fortunately the staff found space heaters and provided them for each of the rooms. Lastly our room smelled of sewage. Don't know where it was from. While the hotel was having some issues the weekend we visited, the staff was wonderful. They were helpful, gracious and tried to improve our stay with every chance they had. read more

Thoroughly satisfied with this hotel! It was relatively clean, the bed was comfortable and the King suite room was very spacious! I suspect there are some rooms that are in better conditions than others. Standard vs Suites etc. We had a king suite on the 5th floor and were very satisfied with just how spacious our particular room was. I liked the counter outside of the bathroom, it gave us extra room to spread out our toiletries. The room also had a small fridge and microwave. The heated pool was a nice touch and although we went in the winter and could not grill, it was nice to see a spacious grilling area. The bartenders were very slow and they only had two on NEW YEARS EVE, that was definitely an inconvenience and not a very smart move but we chose to be patient and just deal, it was New Years Eve and we wanted to maintain our good mood! We will definitely return to this hotel. read more

We booked this hotel for our wedding night and reserved about 20-30 rooms for guests that night. It was such a disappointment and I should've booked further away from our venue to avoid this place. First of all, I took a lot of time to make welcome bags for my guests. Only about 10 guests out of 50 got them.... I made sure everyone who had a room was listed under the block to avoid that mistake too, so I'm not sure why the bags weren't handed out. Secondly, when my husband and I arrived in our suite, we went to climb into bed, but found a lovely stain in the bed. It was a poop stain. And it was pretty fresh, because it smelled, so clearly the sheets were not changed from whoever stayed in the bed the night before. That's absolutely disgusting and deplorable, and never should have happened. Not only that, but when we called the front desk, there were no housekeepers there to change the sheets for us so security had to bring us a new set of sheets and my husband changed the sheets on the bed... On our wedding night... They did offer us a discount for the room, but we felt as though the entire room should've been completely comped for that health hazard. Their excuse? It was fully booked the night before and really busy. Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend staying here. read more

Holiday Inn Select. My boyfriend and I were visiting for a wedding. (Off site @ Alba Vineyards and it was beautiful!) The lobby functions as a bar/pool hall/dance club/karaoke lounge right when you walk in. The club (complete with a bouncer and cover charge!) bass was so loud, we could barely hear the front desk checking us in. Now, I love Lil' Jon as much as the next girl, but I just want to check in! One star. It took approximately 15 minutes for the woman to find our reservation, even when I said it was for the wedding. I also had to mention that we should receive the gift for wedding guests, to which she replied (Oh, that's right, you're with the wedding.) We just checked in 30 seconds ago! One star. We go upstairs and the keys don't work. There are also no house phones. We go back downstairs. The same woman says, "Where did that man with the Benadryl go?" (No man within 30 ft.) Are we on the same planet, lady!? She fixes the keys and we go to the room. It's decent enough for what you'd expect, clean sheets, small picture tube TV, not the most comfortable bed, but decent bathroom. My HUGE complaint with this hotel is that it has designated "smoking/non-smoking" rooms. Let me tell you that the entire hotel smells of smoke. Musty, allergy-inducing, smokey, smoke. I was miserable from it all weekend. One star. Bottom line, okay hotel for what you get in terms of service and rooms. Only stay there if you have to. PROS: Great Pancakes! Free parking! The Holiday Inn is not your typical Holiday Inn! Had a great experience there. We had out wedding there and it was perfect. The staff was professional and friendly , the food was excellent and the newly renovated hotel was a perfect venue for us. Our guests were comfortable in the rooms which were clean and renovated . The nightclub at the hotel , One-11 was fun for our wedding after party . All around a wonderful experience and highly recommend !! read more

Very clean and spacious rooms. Easily accessible from the highway in a historic town just an hour drive from nyc. Large television in room, comfortable bed, very clean. Indoor pool, with a well stocked fitness center. We didn't eat or have drinks at the restaurant or bar so I can't comment on that but overall this is a great place to stay at a great price. We stayed here for our wedding weekend in 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed the lounge, pool, and were satisfied with the rooms( got married offsite)We were excited to return with our kids and stayed in the same pool side suite but the accommodations went down hill, everything was stained and needed updating. The kids enjoyed the pool and the bartender at the lounge was great! The couple we went with found 2 bed bugs on the pillow next to their sleeping son, when removing it the bug "exploded" with blood, meaning it just got done feeding. We love the town of Clinton but will be finding a new place to stay. read more

We had our wedding at the Holiday Inn and I cannot say enough about the staff. They went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect from the ceremony outside, to the cocktail hour, and finally the reception. They exceeded our expectations with the personalized service and attention to detail. We were surprised with the little surprise bottle of wine for me and my daughter and then the bottle of champagne for my husband and I. There is just to much to list. We are beyond thrilled with the outcome! read more
