I remember going to the lounge here years ago... anyway, this was the closest and most affordable to where I was visiting so I booked it. A bit overwhelming when I walked into the huge lobby and people all around. But has the amenities that I like such as internet computers and fitness room. The only drawback is that the hotel frequently books huge parties such as weddings etc. I'm glad I lucked out on a quieter weekend though I did hear people coming down the hallways throughout the night.

We were visiting family who live in the area, and this was the only IHG hotel within the vicinity. We would have stayed at another brand of hotel, but we liked that this location had a pool and an buffet breakfast, as we were traveling with our two young boys who have special needs. We have stayed at Holiday Inn's before, and were always satisfied with the quality and value before, but not the case for this location. First impression: the driveway and parking lot haven't been paved in what seems like a few decades. It was like driving the Burma Road with huge potholes to maneuver. Walk into the lobby, and it's just really dated - something straight out of the 1980s. Check-in/reception was totally deserted at 4pm when we arrived, and I had to shout "anyone working here?" before someone emerged from the office to check us in. I asked what time the pool closed, as this was the main amenity that my children absolutely wanted to partake in and the primary reason for choosing this hotel. The front desk clerk half-apologizes and says that the pool is closed for an event. Thinking he must mean just a few hours, I inquire again when WE could use the pool, and was told that it would be closed to the public for a full 24 hours. It would not reopen until our stay concluded. Disappointed would not be a strong enough word, as we just drove 6 hours and our kids were looking forward to letting off some steam in the pool. It was too cold and nasty for any outdoor activities, so the pool was what we were banking on. Had I known that the pool would be closed to regular hotel patrons, I would 100% have booked elsewhere. As an IHG member, we were given 2 bottles of water as a courtesy gift and were offered a discount at the lounge, which we declined since it would not be appropriate for our family (again, kids with special needs; plus we had plans to see family already). Another positive was that the front desk clerk did put us in a room away from the elevator, ice machine, etc., so that our kids could get restful sleep. The room itself was simply okay. Beds and pillows were clean and comfortable, and room was neat - for the most part. We opened the curtains and found some weird substance smeared on the marble window ledge (see picture), and the window was so old that the seal was broken and it was all dirty and fogged with condensation between the panes (see pic #2). We had a dirty/blurry view of the parking lot, so I guess we didn't miss anything there. It was quiet and we all had a restful night sleep, so that was a plus. The next morning, we went downstairs for the buffet breakfast that we paid extra for with our room rate. The buffet was scheduled to be open another 45 minutes, but it was fully decimated. One pancake left, no eggs, no toast, browned/bruised fruit, etc. I asked one of the employees working this area for some additional pancakes, at the very least, for my kids. She went back to the kitchen and returned apologetic, that the kitchen staff was not making any additional food. She could sense my anger and frustration, because it's one thing to disappoint the kids with the pool not being an option, but now we can't even feed them? I didn't show up 5 minutes before the buffet closed, looking for a feast. I really wish I can remember the staff member's name, because she said "let me see what I can do" and she returned with 3 plates of pancakes for us that she clearly made or reheated herself. I thanked her profusely, because I had two very hungry kiddos and I was at my wit's end with this sub-par hotel that was all but ruining our single-night stay that we paid a good deal of money for. The pancakes were pretty crappy, but her willingness to take ownership of an unpleasant situation and try to make it right was greatly appreciated. She was the one and only big plus of the entire experience. In short, steer clear of this location. Unless they undergo a total renovation, you will be sorely disappointed. Not IHG quality, not even average Holiday Inn quality. More like on par with a Motel 8.

Bugs and hair on our bed.

Main issue which is a red flag **Bed bugs/bugs on beds. (We went with a big group and 4 couples including us had problems with bed bugs/bugs. Once we received a new room it turned out to be the same room one of the couples had that had bed bugs. The Manager recycled that room without thoroughly cleaning it. In my opinion if bed bugs are found the mattress/bed MUST be replaced and the room MUST be disinfected - which does not take 1 night). We had to ask for the Manager to compensate us somehow for our experience which he should have willingly done already. - Remote controllers do not work for TV. - Thin enough walls to hear people next door. - Stains in bathroom. - Elevators were not working right. - Location is in the middle of no where. However, the bartender (I did not get his name) was sooo nice and gave us amazing service. He deserves a raise. That was the only good experience we had. At the bar.

    Dirty remote

I'm only giving 1 star because negative stars is not an option. To say that the experience was subpar is being very generous. Originally, I had booked a room for Friday, July 2 - Sunday, July 4th. Our plans shifted and I needed to change the reservation to Saturday - Monday instead. In total, I spent 121 minutes on hold and spoke with 7 different people over the course of 3 days to change the check in and out day of my stay. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. I arrived at the hotel on Saturday, July 3rd and checked in. We went up to the 5th floor. We got to our room and as soon as we entered all you could smell was a moldy, mildew smell. There were stains on the sheets and curtains, mold (furry white nastiness) inside the dresser where the refrigerator is and some unexplainable splat marks on the side of the dresser. There remote had some sort of brown stains on it. Immediately, I went to the front desk and spoke with someone (later to find out he was a manager there). I shared with him the condition of the room and he said he would send someone up to put new sheets on. He didn't offer to clean the rest of the room or move us to a clean room. There was a large group at the hotel - this group was throughout the hotel and had no regard for us also being there. They were making messes in all the common areas (that they didn't clean up and neither did staff), they were riding scooters and hoover boards through common areas and hallways (bumping into us), the children were running rampant and were completely unsupervised. When I addressed this with the staff, I was told that according to their religion they are no permitted to discipline their children for these 2 days. And, when I addressed it with the manager he told me that they have asked a few times for them not to do these things but they just continue. I was appalled that this is the response I got from staff. The staff had zero control over this group and made (as far as I could see) zero effort to wrangle their behavior to ensure other guests could enjoy their stay. On Saturday evening we were sitting on the front patio. The other group came out and all walked around the hotel. A little bit later we could hear fireworks and there was a large cloud of smoke through the parking lot. The other group was sitting on cars (some of those cars belonged to us) and lighting off fireworks. I alerted the manager and he said he would call the organizer of their group. I insisted he needed to go out there and get them off our cars - he did not leave the front desk. No hotel staff went out there to address the situation. We have had our share of really positive and not so great hotels. This experience was by far the worst I've ever encountered. The hotel is more than messy, it is dirty to the point that it's surprising it passes health inspections. The staff all had an apathetic and dismissive attitude. Overall, my recommendation is don't ever stay at this hotel.

It did rained most of the day before and this course was playing with carts 90° rule... So the drainage seems to be pretty nice. There were definitely some puddle spots, but in some places that didn't really matter. I personally thought the course was brilliant. It has a very wonky beginning and ending... It ends with and begins with two par fives... Honestly, that might be the biggest problem with the course. Otherwise, I found the condition of the course to be excellent. The greens were fantastic! If I wanted to be very picky, I would say that the design was not mind blowing... But it was perfectly fine. There were some holes that were better than others. Some holes were more narrow and some were wide open. There's a drivable part four. There were no Rangers that the day I was there. I played on Tuesday in August. We had a threesome and we were behind a few foursomes, and we definitely had to wait on a few holes. However we were ahead of schedule... We were finished in four hours and 10 minutes. There is no driving range. It took me forever to research that and I was a little annoyed when I realized there was no driving range... There is a chipping and putting green. None of the holes were "unfair" from my perspective... Some of them were a little tricky, but nothing ridiculous. Most of the greens are huge. Because it had rained the day before they were very receptive. I used the GPS on my phone, but I noticed near the end that the 150 marker in the fairway might technically be to the front of the green and not to the center of the green... Just FYI there. I did not use the grill/restaurant. I was a little disappointed. They did not sell cigars in the pro shop... The staff wasn't overly friendly, but they were in no way mean or offputting. It was hilarious how old school some of the things were... Like having to "sign for your cart key"... Haven't done that in a long time! I legitimately cannot understand why this is not a more popular course in the area. GolfNow had tons of open teetimes for today. This is a wonderful course with elevation and it's very well maintained... People should definitely play it if they haven't. Oh final thing... One of the other reasons I chose this course off of GolfNow was because I was finding that many of the local courses were listing their prices but they were for walking and not with cart. Meaning it was gonna cost another 20 or even $30 if I wanted to use a cart. This course the price that was listed included the cart which made it worth driving a little bit further in my opinion. Honestly, as far as public courses go... This is a great one. Play it.

There were a couple of holes where there was a bit of damage on the fairways, and the flags were in the back in every hole, but otherwise the course was in decent shape for November. Not sure of the prices were low because of the time of year, but I'd come back and play here again.

We had so much trust that we pretty much handed them the keys to do whatever they wanted in terms of entertainment/lighting and we were NOT disappointed. Our guests continue to rave about the MC and DJ combo, especially about DJ Vandan's song choices, playing a mix of Bollywood, hip hop, as well as classics to make sure all of our friends and family were on the dance floor and having a good time. Neil kept the crowd LIT the ENTIRE NIGHT until the absolute last song. Even though there were issues with our venue, the team figured things out without us even knowing that there were any issues. M4U had made the ballroom look incredible, whether it was the amazing vinyl wrap, the lighting throughout our reception, or the large video wall around the DJ booth, they knocked it out of the park. DJ Ronak and MC Aakash also did an awesome job with our Garba/Sangeet, there were a few last minute surprises that were thrown at them and they handled everything calmly and professionally. We arrived early evening, dropped our bags and went out to dinner, when we got back, we were very tired from travelling so we went straight to bed. In the middle of the night I woke up to pee and noticed several bites up and down my arm. I turned on all the lights and immediately started looking in the bed sheets. Almost instantly i found a very well fed bed bug, and i smashed it - totally engorged in blood. We went to the lobby and reported this to the guy at the counter who called a manager, he assured us our room would be taken care of however they had no other rooms available. So we got trash bags and bagged all our belongings and then waited several hours in the lobby for Walmart to open so we could go spend 150 dollars on new clothes and shoes to wear so we could isolate the exposed clothing and luggage. This was particularly annoying because we were travelling and supposed to be stopping that next day at my sister's who has two small kids... so that visit was cancelled. So when the morning shift arrived the mood suddenly shifted. The morning manager took an incredibly accusatory tone claiming we were making this up, and insinuating we were trying to scam them. I provided evidence of both the dead bug and bites all over my arm, they left to search the room and came back and said they found nothing, then i showed them the pictures i took of the nest of grime, detritus and bug feces underneath the furniture. At this point they took our information and said they would be issuing and mailing a check to us. It's been 6 months. However we did get a phone call a few weeks later and were yelled at for contacting corporate offices. This place is a health hazard and NOBODY should EVER stay here unless management changes and the whole place is treated.
