I stayed at this hotel because of my family reunion. The front desk staff was nice. The hotel was clean and had a nice meeting room that my family used as a part of our reunion activities. I don't really have anything negative to say about the hotel. There was one small blip. I asked for them to charge both of my rooms on a particular card. They ended up charging one room on the card I used to reserve both rooms. I was a little annoyed because the card I wanted to use is one that I get points for, but I would stay at this hotel again if I were in the area. read more

Top hotel in Goodlettsville area easily. My truck was in the shop so I stayed here for about a week. Front desk and manager went out there way to make sure I had the phone number to play my console and also use my computer. Best part; as a driver the hotel staff always made sure I had towels and serviced my room without waking me up. Very quiet and peaceful hotel. My room was clean when I got it from top to bottom. Hotel Review: Holiday Inn & Suites - A Disappointing Stay I stayed at this Holiday Inn & Suites for six nights, and it was easily one of the most unpleasant hotel stays I've ever had. * Room Conditions: On arrival, the air conditioning was not working, and the room was extremely humid. I called the front desk only to be told there were no available rooms. Their solution? A box fan. That should've been the first red flag. * Wi-Fi Issues: The Wi-Fi didn't work the entire first night. When I called the front desk, they gave me a number to troubleshoot, and that tech support told me the Wi-Fi was overloaded--which is unacceptable for a hotel in this price range. * Cleanliness & Safety Concerns: * The shower and cabinets had black mold, and from the looks of it, it's been there a while. * The shower head was leaking from the hardware, which wasn't properly sealed or installed. * Tiles in the bathroom were falling off, revealing mold behind them. * The fire suppression system was partially detached from the wall, which doesn't inspire confidence in safety standards. * The couch had a questionable stain that looked disturbingly like dried bodily fluids -- absolutely disgusting. * Maintenance & Access Problems: * I had to replace my room keys four times during my stay. * At one point, they even rented my room out to someone else while I was still checked in. * Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast was also a disappointment. The bananas and oranges were old and clearly spoiled -- should've been thrown out. Bottom Line: This hotel does not meet the basic standards of cleanliness, comfort, or professionalism you would expect from the Holiday Inn brand. After a disgusting interaction at a Courtyard Marriott hotel, I was looking for a last minute reservation late at night. I called and reached Sam, my guardian angel. Sam was able to reserve me a room in minutes, displayed top-notch costumer service and friendliness, and quoted me a much lower price than any other hotel in the area. Upon arrival, I was greeted by none other than the infamous Sam herself! She recognized me from the phone call minutes earlier and checked us in immediately. I was a little bummed I wouldn't get a continental breakfast, but Sam informed me of their breakfast pickup service, which we took full advantage of. The room was spacious and clean, and the beds were comfortable! I would gladly stay here again. And if management is reading this review, give Sam a raise! read more

I am a Hilton member and called to get three rooms for my nonprofit staff for a gig downtown Nashville. We work with veterans suffering from PTS. He quoted me a price when I first called on 8/9/2023 and then when I said this was a nonprofit that works with veterans he immediately said, "Oh those rooms just left and you'll have to pay more. He quoted me over two hundred dollars more and then he said "Can you do that?" I said, no what happened to the other rate and he hung up on me. I did not know they are against veterans. read more

This hotel is super dirty. Clumps of hair on the ground and boogers (I think!?) in the sink. There's grime built up in the shower and the hotel also has a musty odor. This is the first time we have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express. It was great! Wish I could give it more than five stars. The room was very spacious, extremely clean, and modern. The breakfast was very good and fresh and The food was replenished often. The serving area and dining area were both very clean and neat. The ladies who worked at the breakfast area were very friendly and nice. Thank you Kim and Joanne for your friendliness and all your hard work! Check in and check out was very easy and done online. The room itself was okay. Clean, beds were comfortable. However, you can hear everything from the rooms above you and next to you. EVERYTHING. We got no sleep due to the gaggle of girls in the room above us screaming and laughing and stomping until about 3:00 am. Once they finally stopped, the people in the room next door to us started with the laughing, and screaming and were just as loud. I also smelled 'recreational drugs' during this time but I'm not sure what room that was coming from. I think that stopped around 6 am. Lastly, there was a light flashing from what I think was a smoke alarm every 5 to 8 seconds ( I timed it). In a completely dark room, this can be annoying as well. After being on the road most of the day, I just wanted to sleep. I don't think that was too much to ask. read more

Stayed 2 nights. Very clean, quiet, close 64. Safe. Beds and linens nice. Lots of extras like ports for cells, etc on nightstand. Lots of lighting options. Robot brings breakfast to room. Still can't figure out how it made perfect Eggs Benedict. Joke....its all packaged items, but was fine. Staff super friendly and helpful, especially the interim manager. Only odd thing is surprised that pool open and the shower products are in a shared container. With COVID, would think the small personal bottles would be used. I have never stayed in a less professional and disgusting hotel in my life. Right when we get into the room and check it out there was a used soap in the shower on the floor and stains on the windowsill. Then we go to check the beds and there's stains all over the pillows and what looks like a shit stain on the sheets of one of the beds! So I went down stairs and asked for new sheets to be put on the bed while my family left to get dinner and we get back the sheets hadn't been replaced! So I go down to the lobby to ask again and one of the ladies was on the phone with what seemed like a personal call while other guests were waiting to be checked in and the other lady decided that was a great time to restock the little store. I finally get the attention of one of them and explain the situation and instead of having someone come to the room to change the sheets they hand me a sheet to remake the bed myself. My stay at this hotel was very disappointing! This is a fairly new hotel and I previously stayed twice at this location while visiting my daughter at a nearby college. My Soldier could not accompany me previously due to military obligations, but I assured him the hotel stay would be a good experience. He was hesitant due to past brand stays that were not good, but this was a new hotel. With hectic schedules, we were looking forward to relaxing and spending time with our daughter to celebrate her college festivities. Wow, was I wrong! We checked in Day 1, Thursday, October 18, 2018 (front desk is always courteous). I noticed our room was not as clean as my first visits. The toilet had remnants, the tub was not clean, floors were not mopped (hair and stains were present), soap dispenser and tissue box were empty. We were too tired from the travel to deal with it all, because we had to take care of my daughter's needs first. Day 2, Friday, October 19, 2018, the cleaning service person proceeded to knock repeatedly and wake us up at 0830 to ask if we would like cleaning service. We kindly asked her to return and she never did. Later in the evening after out coming and going from the day, we noticed the room was not cleaned. I visited the front desk to request a refresh of the room. Afterwards, floors were not cleaned, soap not filled and the tissue box was still empty. I digress and we decided to keep our slippers on. Day 3, Saturday, October 20, 2018, at approximately the same time 0830, the cleaning service person appears to knock again (despite the sign). To ensure we had clean towels and the trash was taken out, we did a quick exchange of towels and the trash. An attempt to return to sleep was seriously hampered. The cleaning person proceeded to leave the metal stoppers on the doors to ALL of the rooms to be cleaned. As she entered and left the rooms, we can hear the pounding as the doors hit the metal pieces. Then you can hear the vacuuming and the yelling down the hall between the workers. At this point, there is no peace to be had in this place, so we are up and seriously sleep deprived. Day 4, Sunday, October 21, 2018, assuredly we can sleep in...OH NO, not in this camp; SLEEP DENIED! The person who delivered the hotel statements approximately 0900 continuously knocked on the door until we answered. In most hotels, the statements are slipped under the door, which does not disturb the guests. I immediately went to the front desk and reported this fiasco where an apology was offered by the front desk clerk and she stated she would notify the general manager and the person over the cleaning staff. Needless to say, if you value sleep and cleanliness, this is not the place. My Soldier was hesitant to stay here initially, but after the uncleanliness and being Sleepless in Goodlettesville (Holiday Inn Express & Suites), this place will no longer receive any of our Uncle Sam dollars. read more

Yes, this location is new and fairly clean which is a big plus, but... We arrived at 4:30pm and our room was not ready (check-in is 3pm). Okay, I understand a small delay, but this is already 1.5 hrs past check-in. We did not get a room until 5:30pm and the blinds in that room did not work (it is new right?) so we had to wait another 15 minutes for another room. Almost a 3 hr wait to check in--c'mon! The room itself was satisfactory but not well soundproofed. The manager never did come out to address the issue personally; staff had to keep saying he/she was in a meeting...hmmm at 5:30 pm? The front desk staff were nice and clearly embarrassed to have to deal with the customer complaints (yes there were others). Also, it was very obvious that the apologetic housekeeper on our floor was the ONLY one cleaning those rooms, poor girl. I hope she quits, she can find a better place to work I'm sure. read more

Finally off the road after 11 1/2 hrs of driving on our way home to WI from FL. So we check into this Holiday Inn Express in Goodlettsville, TN just north of Nashville. When checking in I asked what extra precautions they are taking with the Coronavirus. Besides closing the pool, changing breakfast service, etc, they said that each room is deep cleaned. Well, to be cautious we brought antiseptic wipes and I went around the room wiping flat surfaces. I was stunned to get dirt/dust like some of these areas hadn't been cleaned for awhile! The floors didn't look cleaned either, dirt and crumbs along the wall and in corners. The front desk said they could move us to another room since cleaning staff gone for the day. Went to look at the new room first and issues there too. Decided to stay in the first room since we had already wiped down surfaces. They knocked off the extra charge for the dog (big deal) but I'm too tired and frustrated to push for more. just had to vent. read more

This is a brand new hotel with ample parking space and large spacious rooms. There are several outlets and that is nice considering many old hotels do not have enough sockets and that is one of our pet peeves. My wife and I travel all over and it is sometimes hard to sleep with all the noise around. We were surprised that this is the first hotel to offer us a kit at check in to assist us sleep. We have never seen this and we stay everywhere. It hits the spot and I commend them for creativity. The breakfast is delicious and the hostess was on her toes keeping everything stocked. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from and they are all walking distance. We recommend that you try the chef's market. read more
