My partner and I took the DLR, got off at the station Stratford High Street. From there we went on foot to the hotel, took us about 5-7 minutes, then we saw the Holiday Inn Express Hotel. Well, it was quite easy to spot on. I also saw a bust stop close to the hotel, which people could also just take the bus from the station Stratford to get here. it was probably easier with the DLR though, since we just got here the first time. After we walk in, we just head directly to the reception to check in, just like in regular hotel, we were done after couple minutes. I don't recalled if there was any special request. They offer WIFI as well, street.
Although the room the we got wasn't so big, I was happy with the window view, there was nothing blocking the view, so I could just see the neighborhood of Stratford. I also find the bathroom was quite ok, the bathroom's door for two use, that was quite convenient. I think the rest was alright. I'm not a difficult guy to be pleased.
About the breakfast, one of the thing my partner usually like the most, but he was quite disappointed the one here in the hotel. In the other hand, I was fine by it, I like the typical British breakfast, with bacons, beans all those stuff. Funny, my British friend, he actually doesn't like that. The only thing did bother me was that the breakfast is the same every day. Well, at least during our staying. Although there was breakfast buffet, but the not much options of food. maybe they could switch something different after two days or so on.
Overall, we had a fine time here, didn't have any difficulty. I think there some small stuff are quite nice from the hotel, for example there prepared local map in case you need it and you could just pick up the magazine at the lobby and read them. There was a Tesco (supermarket) close by as well, in case you need some stuff. And it was really easy to get from to the public transfer. We walked from the hotel to the station Stratford couple times, took us just around 10 minute, quite a nice walk. read more
