Initially, I was given a room where several things weren't working--the phone, TV, AC, and fridge were all non-functional. I complained, and as a gesture of goodwill, they moved me to another room. However, when I left the hotel and wrote an honest review about my stay, including criticism of the food and overall experience, they retaliated. They began harassing me with negative responses and an unprofessional attitude. To make matters worse, they charged my credit card an extra $212.22 falsely claiming I occupied two rooms on the first night--when in reality, the first room was unlivable, and I was moved to the second room. This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. If you choose to stay here, be warned: they seem to retaliate against negative reviews by charging additional fees or harassing customers. Save yourself the trouble, time, and money--find a better place to stay.

I have reached out to booking.com after my stay at your hotel due to the unsanitary conditions. Also, when I checked in, how unfriendly the staff was. A simple hello and a smile would be nice. But I understand sometimes people are having bad days, it happens. When I got to my room, I hit the main 'Electrical Switch' but it was super dark in the room and two lights did not work. Also the TV and the bed lamps did not work. I called the front desk for maintenance, and it took them close to 35 minutes to answer the call. Again, I get it, I am not the only guest staying here. I was not requesting any special treatment. I just wanted to get cleaned up for my business meeting after a long hot drive in the car from OH. Then I started to notice things that disturbed me. (see Photos) 1. The first photo is a picture of my hand after I wiped it on the desk that is floating underneath the television. 2. The second photo is one of the water glasses that I almost drank from the other one wasn't that great looking either. 3. The third photo is the flip side of the couch pillow which looks like somebody peed on it? 4. The fourth photo is when I pull the ottoman away from the couch only to find a pistachio shell and lots of other things like lint, etc. this room was not vacuumed. Including what appeared to be semen stains on the sofa. 5. The next photo really made me sick. This is the lid to the ice bucket. I was going to get a bucket of ice to put in my cooler because the fridge raider was so filthy. I didn't dare put any of my food items in there. There's literally mold, growing on the lid of the ice bucket! 6. The next photo is splats of grease on the wall in the cubicle of the refrigerator and the microwave/coffee center. 7. Number seven is a photo blown up of what's behind the bathroom sink. 8. And the next photo is when I wet a piece of toilet paper and ran it behind that spot of the sink. Notice all the dirt and hair? I will also be sending six short individual videos to your email separately they will be coming from my email. This email and a copy of it will go to booking.com and Marriott Bonvoy including the photos and videos. As a professional business manager, I'm sure I don't have to tell you how imperative in this day and age it is for hotel rooms to be clean. I would really like to think that we learned some thing from Covid? At the very least training your staff to be friendly and kind to mature clients, and making sure that they have a safe and healthy room. This includes paying attention to detail when you are cleaning a room. For the price, not bad and.. pets are welcome so that's a plus. Now, the bad part of my stay. A lot of men stay here that I guess do labor around the area. Most from out of state. They are loud and partying in the parking lot with Mexican music blasting all night. There was arguing in the lobby about a bill that was owed and the guy had a very large aggressive dog who was barking. I love dogs and was a little afraid because I could tell that the dog was abused. The dog kept barking and the guy hits him hard with his leash. I said, what are you doing? You don't have to hit him that hard. The dog cowered like he was afraid. I would be too. The guy was nuts! I later saw the same guy with a bunch of these same workers getting off the elevator smelling of pot so bad. This place is not family friendly. So when I got back to the hotel I tried to find the receptionist that had been arguing with that guy with the dog to tell her that I thought it's her duty to call the police especially because she knows his plate number and information about him. Of course she didn't come back to the desk for the rest of the night. Ridiculous! We won't be back! In fact, my husband and I left there at 3 am. No thank you Many other choices around here. Pick another one with better clientele unless you like the low class party life.

They were also extremely accommodating when I explained that I get over sensory issues and that I did not want to be near an elevator. They found anyway they could to keep me away from that. First week I stayed here the whirlpool was inoperable due to a missing knob (received email from manager indicating that this was the result of another guest and the knob was replaced prior to my second week's stay). Second week, the system allowed someone to be checked into a room that I had checked into electronically. Issue quickly resolved by front desk, although this meant that I stayed in a studio suite in lieu of a one bedroom suite (studio suite was still very nice, I just like the feel and space of the one bedroom). Leaving today for my third week in a row staying at this property. And, I have booked multiple future stays. I expect my 4 star rating to go up as I become comfortable with this property and as the staff gets some of the kink/ worked out (this property just opened in mid-January). Bonus: the regular pool is heated (pleasant surprise when I went from the whirlpool to the pool).
