The lobby, bar, and dining stars is pretty awesome. Lots of places to sit, work, relax, and hang out. The room is spacious, but the bathroom is a bit cramped. The bed is comfortable, the air/heat works well, the desk and chair are nice, and there's a bonus air purifier. Coffee and tea in the room, extra points for Starbucks! Refrigerator is spacious, and another bonus for complimentary water bottle. The shower pressure could be better, but the fragrant body wash, shampoo, and conditioner kings

Need to scan key card to get to Bonvoy floors

I wish I could've stayed longer! Check-in was a breeze. A very nice gentleman with dreads greeted me at the desk. What a kind young man. I like that for the Bonvoy floors you have to scan your card (a little extra security). My king size bedroom was $161, and I could've paid more for breakfast but there are so many options around here that I didn't think it necessary. There was a nice "taller" mini fridge and a single serve coffee machine in the room (Starbucks), along with a complimentary bottle of water. Parking was easy and plentiful all around the building, making getting to your car super easy. The pool and lobby also were very well kept and shiny. AREA TO IMPROVE (the only reason I didn't give 5 stars): the room was very clean, but I think the use of brown "wood" floors in the shower makes it hard for the maintenance staff to tell if it's fully clean. I am highly sensitive and could smell and feel it under my feet at parts of the shower floor. Totally brings down such a beautiful updated bathroom. Tip: Google the following for breakfast: Zingermann's Bakery - there is one on the South side of A2, a 5 min. drive - great for breakfast!

I enjoyed my recent stay at the Sheraton in Ann Arbor. This was my first visit to Ann Arbor. The hotel wasn't crowded and my expectations during a pandemic were met. The restaurant had not yet open (I was told it would open in about a week's time). The room was comfortable and I guess daily maid service is a thing of the past during the pandemic. Again, no one mentioned the lack of maid service, but it wasn't a big issue for me. They have a very nice 24-hour available fitness room. It will be nice when all the hotel is back to "normal"!

The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Staff was great. The only negative was the pool was very cold.

More important to you, it's nestled in a beautiful neighborhood about one mile to most elements of the U of M central campus. So you can walk, if you're so inclined, and five to ten minutes in a car gets you to any number of important or interesting places. Parking is on the street, which turned out to be no problem, as there always were plenty of spaces near the entry sidewalk. Perhaps it's helpful to say that the Stone Chalet campus is the site of a former Unitarian church. That's how I remember it, driving/jogging by during student years. Therese remembers it was the site of piano recitals. Anyway, the former "main building" has been converted to an event center (we didn't spend much time there) and the former parsonage converted to guest quarters. Our room was Alice-in-Wonderland themed, spacious and cozy for an autumn visit. Breakfast was ordered via an app, with many choices, including gluten-free options for Therese. If you want a good and even inspiring conversation, seek out the owner Vincent, who can share some fascinating stories about real estate and his efforts to purchase, maintain, and make profitable the Stone Chalet property. We enjoyed our time here, and wish Vincent, Daisy, family and staff, all the best. Thank you, Stone Chalet.

Complete with historic farm house, barn, chickens!! This place is great for getting lots of outdoorsy photographs while still keeping guests like Grandma and Grandpa comfortable in air conditioned splendor. The price is really right and includes the use of their chairs, tables, and a small prep kitchen. You can invite your own catering (not forced to use theirs like many venues) So there again you can save some money without compromising any quality (i.e. no dry chicken dinner for $32ea) The barn is not as rustic looking on the inside it has exposed beams but white drywall in between which means you need to plan to use colored linens or something to add to the otherwise colorless room. They do however have it pre-lit with white holiday lights. Overall a great option for couples on a budget or conventions.

On 8/23/2021, they sent an email implementing new very strict covid protocols that pushed my daughter and her future husband to change EVERY EVENT DETAIL to have the event take place outside. Just 4 days later, on 8/27/2021 they received a second email, CANCELLING the entire event. Cobblestone personnel CANCELLED their wedding after the details to move everything outdoors had been successfully changed, just 15 days before their wedding date of 9/11/2021. Not only did they cancel the event 15 days before it was scheduled to happen, they did it by email on a Friday just before 5pm. No phone call, and at best a pathetic explanation as to why they felt justified to do so. The people that work at Cobblestone are selfish, unprofessional, and should not be employed at such a venue if they care so little for the community or customers they are serving. If you are thinking about having a wedding or event at an outdoor site in the Ann Arbor area, look anywhere else as Cobblestone Farm is a nightmare to deal with.
