Just average hotel. Small rooms. Poor customer service. Would not recommend, not very accommodating.

This is our favorite hotel when visiting family in the area. It is a sprawling resort, as the name…read moreimplies, and there are plenty of hallways, wings, and cultivated grounds to explore. Its an ideal destination for an extended stay. As a former seminary built in the 1940's, the architectural flourishes are second to none. Design aficionados will be in aesthetic heaven. There are three restaurants on site - an Irish Pub, a wine Bar, and a Steakhouse with a bar and breakfast service. The wine bar is definitely worth a visit, whereas I recommend the other two options primarily for their convenience. Service is exceptional and the beds are firm but very comfortable, nonetheless. The in-room TV supports casting TV & movie apps - Netflix, Hulu, etc. - but not music apps, for some reason. Fortunately we brought a WiFi speaker. A few notes on accessibility follow. For context, I can walk with crutches but need to use a wheelchair for long distances. And this hotel is all about long distances. We had an accessible king room, and while the lanes for navigating a wheelchair around the bed are tight, they are manageable. The bed is super comfortable but also very TALL. It could be tricky to transfer to the bed from a wheelchair without assistance of crutches. There is plenty of space in the bathroom and the roll in-shower has a good set up with an accessible shelf for shampoo, etc. Be careful with the bathroom door - it is a very heavy sliding door with a strange locking mechanism. The public spaces in the hotel, including the restrooms, are generally modern and accessible. I also noticed that the pool has a swing chair for water access. One exception is the Irish Pub, which treated accessibility as an afterthought when it was designed. There is no wheelchair access within the hotel - you'll want to drive around to the back to use its parking lot. Additionally, to get to the restroom or the second floor of the pub you'll need to use one of smallest prefab dumb waiters I've ever been in. Finally, be advised that the entrance to the hotel is at the top of a steep hill, and the porte-cochère landing itself is at a slant. Be agile with your brakes, and let your companion park the car after you've exited if you can. Also note that there are only 4 designated accessible parking spaces. We've seen them all full on multiple occasions; for a parking lot of its size, the hotel should probably add about 4 more.

I highly suggest if you're a golf enthusiast or you're just looking for a place for a tranquil getaway this is an amazing location now although I didn't get a chance to stay in the room, some of the outdoor sitting areas were so relaxing.

Well after a day from hell, I couldn't wait to get to the hotel to relax…read more I used the app which had me for only one night when it was originally for 2 and then I revised the reservation by phone from 2 to 3 days...even though this was supposedly completely by reservation, it wasn't and it couldn't be completed because the original reservation was prepaid... what a disaster and unfortunately I had a little melt down as I couldn't take one more thing that day go wrong, and worried what to do about the last day... The manager actually came to my room and she was very kind and helpful to me, and she got the needed solution and all is good. I in good conscience had to apologize for being so emotional due to "stuff". I would rate the manager 5 star. now the hotel rooms needs remodeled and updated badly. The furniture is old, chipped and dented. It would be nice to have it donated. The bathroom under the sink is dirty and my room needs dusted badly. The furniture piece with the coffee maker definitely needs wiped down. Streaks on the mirrors, the toilet was clogged (they did come right away and fix it) and there were fingernails by the desk on the floor. The tub caulk is all over the tub and there is a good amount of exposed mold and mold coming through it. The rooms are very nice sized with a Samsung TV and a very large closet, full length mirror, iron, etc. The air conditioner worked very well. There is a bath with a shower and very nice thick towels, Evelyn and Crabtree bath products that smelled wonderful and lots of hot water and wonderful massage shower head. The bath actually holds water when filled and the water goes down the drain which is unheard of in a hotel. The lobby is updated and modern. I didn't use the restaurant but noticed there was no coffee urns downstairs. There is a Keurig with pods in the room with cream, a small microwave and hotel sized refrigerator, all worked fine. I didn't use the pool, didn't know they had one until reading other reviews. It is located right off of an exit, has a golf course, two shopping centers, restaurants, gas station, grocery store on the next block so convenient is definitely there for you. Would I stay here again, yes because of the manager and her kindness.

The Hilton was down the street and around the corner, and we got what we paid for. The first room assigned to us smelled like cigarettes, and the next room smelled musty. The water pressure for the shower was one of a fire hose. You aren't prepared for it and it hits you in the face. On top of that, our tub was clogged. We had to run the shower, turn it off to clean and then turn it back on to rinse off. This place is good for a 2-night stay only. However, greet customer service.

The lady at the front desk upon checking in was very friendly and I was greeted to a cozy first floor room. The hotel had a really cool patio and pool under basement level and I feel like that's a secret because it wasn't mentioned when I first walked in. What I love about this hotel too is that there's many things to do within walking distance! That way you don't have to suffer driving in this wild traffic. What I will say is a big kind about this place is the breakfast. The food is cold and I don't have any orange juice or essential drinks because the dispenser only pours out water. The rooms itself are very nice and cozy with modern amenities and I especially enjoyed the shower that was provided. Overall, it was an okay Hotel to say the least

I advised the one on the phone there wasn't coffee and there was a line waiting and she told me to tell the staff member who was in the kitchen, she was curt and looked back down at her phone leaving me standing there. I asked for first floor and given the 4th floor because "we're busy". I asked for a late check out due to personal issues on Sunday and was refused. My family stayed here when they visited and I stayed here when needed. Never again. At 2 pm there was coffee in the machines, and there wasn't one clean table to sit down at, not one. This place obviously has staff issues, being polite and accommodating. The yogurt was expired, like from June 2nd, June 12th to July 4th. It was expired when my son in law stayed here also.

No mention of this anywhere that there is no food available at the one food spot in the hotel! Great... rhetorical question; do you know how difficult it is to try and park a 26 foot U-Haul truck in any restaurant parking lot? Not to mention, paying by the mile for mileage. UPDATE: To be fair, I did ask for a beer, which they had, and when I went to leave, they did comp it. Still only 3 stars, since I'd rather not have to try going somewhere else.

The staff here was pleasant and for me easy to work with. I have absolutely no issue with person to person interactions/ service. Good response to basic requests and daily housekeeping service! I don't travel that much these days and I haven't had daily housekeeping since Covid I think. This place had a great location for me. A 20-minute drive to airport and the best grouping of walking distance food and family entertainment I've seen by a hotel/motel type property in a long time. Shake Shack was great, there are BJs and similar restaurants plus a lot of smaller footprint restaurants on the other side of the AMC theater located to the north. Easy way to get some steps in. The only negatives were the breakfast appeared to have reconstituted eggs that some places use and I'm not a fan. All the other items were "free breakfast tasty." Secondly, the property was feeling a tiny bit tired - some nondescript odor was in the hallway on my upper floor - not in the room though. Also, the bathroom/tub toilet felt pretty tight - so much so that I thought it could have been used for astronaut training on the old Mercury space program. The rest of the room had adequate space for us.
