Room service was great and reasonable.

Very decent hotel. Parking lot is a little awkward. Rooms good clean and refreshed. Bathroom great. Service excellent. I'm not sure what the complaints of others are about. I think it's lovely.

The eggs and potatoes weren't edible.

Double bed room this time and everything was great. This review is for the breakfast. Do not eat the buffet food. The potatoes were dry and inedible. The eggs definitely were the powdered kind. Absolutely unedible. The complementary breakfast is for the buffet but can be exchanged for $10 off a menu item. My advice, take the menu item! My fiance said his eggs tasted real.

To-Go Breakfast: a bottle of water, muffin, orange and granola bar. Not worth the cost

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend and I really can't say that I would recommend the place. The good: Bed was comfy and amenities nice. Staff was friendly and complementary breakfast was yummy and filling. The bad: They put us on the first floor right next to the door which made it harder to regulate the temperature in the room and we could hear everyone walking in and out. Opening and closing of doors, kids yelling, people taking - everything. Not the best sleep I've ever had at a hotel and I'm a pretty heavy sleeper. To make things worse the lock on the door to get into the building didn't even work so anyone could walk right in. Definitely did not make you feel safe. The to-go breakfast was also very underwhelming and not worth the money. You're better off ordering something from the Carls Jr nextdoor. We were also expecting to unwind in the jacuzzi after a long day of hiking and although the water temperature was perfect, the jets made the whole jacuzzi a splash zone. Maybe good for kids but not if you're looking for a place to relax. We had to turn off the jets and settled with the still water. Would not return and husband now knows to always ask for an upper room floor.

    Big showers!

We had a great trip up to Portland and a fabulous stay here. Very impressive for the price ! Tv, soft fluffy beds, incredibly kind and attentive staff! The bathrooms were big ! I'm a stickler for water pressure and a nice hot shower in the morning - you will not be disappointed. The staff even leant me an umbrella because it was raining outside and I didn't have one :) five stars !

If you're planning on visiting, make a reservation for ether a group or private tour. The group tour is $15 per person while the private tour is $150 for the entire group. The only drawback with the group tour is you don't know how many people might be in it. We had almost 40 in our group and that was a bit too many in my opinion. When you arrive, check-in is inside the red barn. They'll let you know which group tour you belong to. They have port o' potties and hand washing stations behind the barn. If you end up getting any food from the food truck (ostrich sliders and ostrich philly steak style sandwiches), you can bring it into the barn where there's picnic style tables and benches. The "gift shop" is also inside the barn. If you do come on wet day or after it rains, be sure to wear appropriate shoes...it can get muddy as you walk from one animal area to another.

Their tour was running late- by late I mean 40 minutes... so we had to shuffle things around party wise. The tour consists I of seeing the animals. Didn't realize that the Ostrich were there for lol meat purposes. During the tour kiddos got to feed them. They have a few different areas to roam, with some tables. It's a decent sized place. I think it could use some TLC though.

I won't be giving this five-stars because I love that my friend got married. I'm not speaking on behalf of him. There, now we can review. This is NOT a bad venue AT ALL. I'm just gonna say what I noticed, as this was my first wedding I've been to. Maybe my issues, will be exactly what you're looking for. I will say my friend didn't invite more than like 100 people, so the venue fit. But it wasn't exactly BIG or SPACIOUS. Not cramped by any means, but the wedding's I've worked at (DJ'ing music, filming a video) have had a lot more stuff happening. But I will say those locations weren't NEARLY as high quality and nice. I think this place decided to have everything be made brand-new, and kept in tip-top shape. Which is probably the reason why nothing I saw was extremely huge. Not that I need that. They provided outstanding workers though. They were dedicated, did their job well, and were always there. Which is honestly a major plus, in my book. I didn't give this establishment an 8/10 because it's not all Langdon has to offer, but also because 8/10 is the highest I'd be able to do. So having it be just under that rating, is fine by me. Another weird thing...everyone was playing golf. I don't mean that they shouldn't be allowed, but it just was weird having to time pictures after they've moved from the hole. Or taking a picture at a wall. This review may be all over the place, and I apologize. I have nothing wrong with the establishment, I just don't really know how weddings work. What do people want to hear in a review? Does everyone want the same type of venue? I'll just wrap it up by saying, this is a very nice location. It seems brand new! Plus, they give you great hired help. You just may be a bit disappointed at how you can see the reception "barn", from your chair at the ceremony.
