I want to thank Yelp and my community manager Bailey L. for the ticket give-away to Enchant Christmas 2023 presented by Hallmark at Salt River Fields. Hubby and I enjoyed the evening and our holiday date night. We were granted complimentary VIP tickets which included 1 drink ticket and our own entrance to the event. No waiting for us! We did pay $15 for parking and the walk into the event was 10 minutes. We had eaten before arrival after reading reviews about the cost of food, drinks and snacks. So many food options were provided, just bring your wallet! And on that note, it's a cashless event so only Apple/Google pay, and cards will be accepted. If we had purchased VIP tickets, it would have been about $140 for two adults. We spent 90 minutes watching families enjoy and we walked around the event. This event is definitely geared towards small children. We watched the ice skaters for a while, enjoyed the lights in the maze and visited the many vendors. Lot of holiday trinkets and last-minute gift ideas. We popped into the VIP lounge for a hot chocolate and a pit stop before heading home. The lounge was very busy, long lines, and the tables weren't clean which was disappointing. But again, it was a nice option with our VIP tickets. My girlfriends and I had a wonderful time at this winter wonderland on Sunday, Dec 11th. Browsing, completing the maze, buying handmade chocolates, holiday gift socks and beef jerky took about 1 1/2 hours. Taking advantage of arriving prior to the crowds allowed us to see and move around at a good pace. We didn't bring our children so there was no waiting to visit Santa and we passed on the ice skating. We also left the husbands at home which we agreed later on that they wouldn't have enjoyed it as much as the women did. The music, periodic snow falling, Christmas carolers, created a holiday vibe we just loved! Arriving at 5:00 pm offered sunset and nighttime photo opportunities which we liked! This experience was worth the $45 a ticket for me! If you go with Christmas enthusiasts, it makes all the difference! read more

I was excited to win two VIP tickets through Yelp- thank you Yelp and Bailey! I purchased two more VIP tickets so the whole family could go. Parking was not included ($15 for regular parking and $40 for valet)- nor was skating ($15). When you book online you do have to pick your arrival time so we chose 5:30, which I highly recommend, as it was not as busy as others have mentioned. When you get through the gates, you can walk toward the field to look at the lights from the top and the view is breathtaking. The carolers added to the moment with their beautiful singing. We walked around at the concession level and there were many kiosks offering things like lemonade, hot chocolate, Boba Tea, mini donuts, hot dogs, fruit kebobs, crepes as well as items you can shop for like Christmas decorations. We were here after Christmas so Santa was already back at the North Pole, but there is an area to meet him when he is in town. There was also a Mrs Claus story time area for the little ones. There are a few areas to sit at the top, but there is also the whole stadium seating to sit and enjoy the view. We headed down to the maze and the skating area. Many people were in line for skating so we walked around the maze area. It is quite a wide area that allows for a lot of people to be there at the same time. They have many pretty spots to stop and admire the gorgeous lights. I took way too many photos, but nothing beats seeing this with your own eyes. We took our time strolling through the maze. We spent about an hour and a half at Enchant and we feel as through we saw it all, but we only stood in one line- more about that later. If you plan on skating you will be here a little longer. As I said I paid for 2 VIP tickets which costs $30 each more than the regular tickets. On the web site Enchant states that you get access to the VIP area, a souvenir, a drink and other exclusive perks. When we arrived the VIP line was longer and slower than the regular line so no winning there. The VIP area does allow for a nice view of the lights and they have tables, 3 heaters and one small fire pit. They were giving out smore packages to take home as well as a medal- geared towards kids. They had one bartender making drinks for the whole VIP area so there was a long line here. You can't see what they offer or what your VIP drink consists of until you get up to the bar area where they have one piece of paper at the counter that lists prices. Lots of people had drinks in lightbulb cups that were cute, but not included with the VIP drink. The VIP drink is a small plastic cup drink. It is hard to justify the $30 VIP experience. There were shorter lines on the concession level and you can get a similar view and a cheaper drink for way less than $30. Overall, a beautiful, relaxing experience- but regular tickets are all you need. read more

The 2023/2024 lights were amazing. They were in the actual ballpark and had dozens of vendors, a maze, multiple family friendly attractions, and food galore. So many great memories made last year, we were excited to return. This year- 2024/2025- was absolutely terrible. The exact opposite experience. There is a toboggan run which is fine and a small snow patch, both of which are too crowded because they are the only things to do this year. There were maybe 3 vendors actually open, many empty vendor booths. They had cornhole with empty bags and one penguin inflatable carnival like attraction that was unstaffed and wasn't actually able to be played. The venue was outside the ballpark, it was just in a part of the parking lot. Truly bizarre. DO NOT waste your $30/adult on this! read more

They market it to be like a hallmark movie, but there were no fake or real Christmas trees brought in, only tons of metal sculptured trees to hand lights on. All you see is metal and lights everywhere. I thought that for the price it definitely wasn't worth it. And then to top it off, if you want an alcoholic beverage it costs an additional $18. My bf and I were excited to go to Enchant for Sunday date night. We were hoping it wouldn't be too busy but it was pretty packed. It was a cool experience but we wouldn't go back. PROS: -It was well organized despite how busy it was. There were people managing the traffic in the parking lot and inside the venue. -The production was beautiful and the light maze was really cute. CONS: -It's expensive. $10 for parking and another ~$34 for general admission. -Ice skating is $18/person which is pretty steep. -We wanted to check out the ice bar but it was $40 just to get in! The staff said that it comes with 3 vodka drinks but didn't specify whether what kind. -There wasn't a lot that you could get for GA admission. We walked around to check out the shops but some of them were vacant. I liked the concept but it was just too expensive for what you get. I recently attended Enchant Scottsdale with my sister (compliments of Yelp!). We had tickets with the VIP add-on and also purchased the on-site regular parking. It was an experience that provided some activities, some vendors, some food and drinks, and a lot to take in as far as lights were concerned. It was certainly something different to do over the holidays! As we arrived early on a weekday (the day after Christmas), the walk from the parking lot over to the stadium was only about five minutes. There were some lights on the way over to the front entrance though the festivity started at the entrance. After going through the metal detectors, there was a VIP line for entrance where we received a wristband and a VIP drink ticket. We were greeted by some carolers and some festive lights. After arriving, instead of heading to the VIP area, we went the other way to check out the maze before it got too busy. The maze was next to the skating on the floor of the stadium. It was a huge area with MANY beautiful lights! We were given a scratch-off card to help find the eight missing toys, which Eddie the Elf asked us to help find to save Christmas. There were eight large lit-up sculptures throughout the maze that we found while also enjoying many fun light-up exhibits from the interactive changing lights next to the massive Rubik's cube to the massive Christmas tree to the tunnel of lights. If you found the eight missing toys, you were supposed to be able to enter a contest for a trip but that had ended on Christmas Day. They rather gave all kids with completed cards a piece of Kinder chocolate (though not to the adults who were kids at heart). It was still a fun activity but if you didn't pay for the skating separately, it may have been the only activity that people participated in. We then walked around the concourse and saw a number of booths with local shops and food/drinks. We saw where Santa was taking photos and meeting with people. That's where we noticed the first VIP perk after the line to get in. There was a separate line to see Santa for the VIPs. We then saw the children's area with an area set up for story time with Mrs. Clause. After walking around the entire concourse and passing the food court area, we found the VIP area rather close to the entrance. We went down some stairs and found a rather long line (as we wished we started there) since there was only one bartender at the bar where there were food and drinks being served along with the VIP drink coupon being redeemed (for a hot cocoa or a small plastic cup of the seasonal drink). We chose the latter. At a nearby table, we received complimentary s'mores kits and Enchant medals to take with us. At least there were some warm areas to sit by heaters or a fireplace. Finally, on the way out, I recognized one of the entertainers (who we used to hire at my work) which was someone on stilts who happened to be none other than Hermee the Clown (and Balloon twister). It was fun to see him in a different environment still entertaining people (even if there were no balloons or clowning this time around). His website can be found at http://www.hermeetheclown.com. The experience was fun but could easily be done in a short amount of time, and if we hadn't received complimentary tickets, we likely wouldn't have spent about $125 just for the two of us. I really wanted to like this event, but I just found myself disappointed. The maze is beautiful, but it is very limited in size to fit within the confines of the baseball field. The main concourse of the stands is turned into a flea-market of individual stands - most of which are not worth the money. For the price and hype, we expected MUCH more. Shady event with terrible customer service. "Holiday Light Experience at Salt River Fields" changed their name, they were previously called "Enchant Christmas". So much negative feedback on social they're trying to come off as a different company. Paid VIP for a specific time slot and was held at the gate for over an hour because they were not letting anyone in. When I contacted their support for a refund to simply pay the difference for the entry time I was let in they told me I was lying and ignored. Good thing I had photos and video with time stamps or else they would have gotten away with it. Terribly organized, overprice and shady customer service. read more

Went here last holiday season with my wife and in-laws to check out the lights. It was overall good but there was a long queue of cars in this drive-through light show. We had to wait almost 45 minutes before we could enter the area where the light show begins. There were plenty of lights that is for sure but we expected it to be more extravagant. Overall for the price, it is worth it but nothing special if you have already seen such holiday lights before. Price is for each vehicle and as many passengers can fit in. So very reasonably if you are going as a group. How slowly you drive, you will end this show within 15 mins after entering. read more

Review of Enchant Christmas 2022 presented by Hallmark at Salt River Fields in the area of our current stomping ground! I want to thank Yelp and our community managers Bailey L. and Gretel Y. for the ticket give-away! Learning giveaways do not have a Yelp page I thought it was still important to share the experience to help others come prepared. Online reservations required. Dress warm! Extra warm like your going to the snow. Warm socks are a must and mittens or gloves for the kids. It is cold out at night and it is even colder down on the field! You want to be able to feel your toes when heading home! No joke! I am not sure if the $10 parking fee option is considered their vallet parking lot in front of the entrance, but get it if you don't want to walk. If you don't mind a stroll you will be parking in the dirt fields down from the field and taking the sidewalk down onto the property. Bring a generous pocketbook! Be prepared to spend. Admission is $20 to $34 per person 3 and up. Plus tax and service fee. An additional $15 per child and $30 if you want to purchase additional VIP tickets. Wednesday - Thursday and Sunday I would say not necessary unless you just want it. Mainly would only benefit visiting Santa line Fri-Sun. It is $18 to ice skate per person. First come first serve. Limited amount of people allowed on ice at a time and it is timed. Even if VIP you must have purchased your ice-skating tickets online ahead of time. Dont worry if you decide to upgrade to VIP at the event you may. I couldn't figure out how to do it on the website so you can head to your immediate left when you first walk in to guest services for assistance. If visiting Fri-Sunday to see Santa go early! As soon as you arrive you will head to the right walk down a ways up the steps to your right and stand in line. We waited over 1.5 hours. There were 9 families before us including VIP walk ups. We thought more was going on behind closed doors, but it was just photos for Santa. Way too slow moving. Once in the door there is more bit of a wait inside. For some reason it was colder inside! Brrr. The elves are so much fun and Santa was great! When exiting Santa you will see a booth to your right where you can purchase photos. $39 for 1 or $72 4. They print them out on the spot and only available to purchase at the event. You will get a QR code that pulls them up. At the other end headed back past the entrances left I assume is the Mrs. Claus experience where she reads a book and children can make a craft and color. They have hotdogs, fries, drinks, chocolate covered fruit and drinks to the right. Head left of the entrance for more food, adult drinks and the soft pretzels. There are some great vendors selling food, wind chimes, jerky etc. You can even buy Enchant merchandise. The maze is beautiful! No strollers allowed in Maze, but okay at event. You will park them at stroller parking. The maze isn't tight. It is wide and open and don't forget even colder than upper level You will receive a card to stamp. All 9 reindeer are there to find in the maze. There is a table with stamps at each reindeer to stamp in your book. Once complete you can fill out the back and place them at the Hallmark mailbox located inside the entrance to the left when you first had walked in. It puts you on a sweepstakes. So many beautiful areas set up for photo ops. We had a great time! read more

I had an awesome opportunity to once again attend the Enchant Christmas by Hallmark. I was looking forward to it as last year was a blast. They had a new lights maze with the story of the Elf and the lost toys this year. There seemed to be more food options like turkey legs, pizza, crepes, kabobs, and Frybreads. I myself am a huge fan of hot chocolate and the crepes! This was such a great kick-off to the Christmas season and enjoyable for all ages! I also bought some beautifully made presents for loved ones at the shop in the village! I am looking forward to next year's theme and would recommend all family dynamics to enjoy!! read more

Really cute Christmas Wonderland set up right in Scottsdale. There are so many lights and Instagram-worthy spots to take single & couple pics. I went with a friend and we got a lot of amazing shots on sleighs, on dance floors, on benches that were lit up just right. The hot cocoa was delicious as well as the mocktails & cocktails. The decorative lightbulb cup was probably my favorite! The maze is probably the best thing to do and the little reindeer scavenger hunt is worth the run-around. I will say that I don't think I've seen a more beautiful ice skating rink, it was breathtaking! read more

Loved this holiday light display! I bought our ticket on Black Friday, so it was discounted ($25) for the Saturday night display. Big piece of advice, read the email they send out, because they tell you exactly where to go to wait in line! My husband almost didn't believe me because we saw a huge line of cars, but we went in where the email told us, and there were only about 3 cars in front of us. They are super organized and get you in fairly quickly. We did purchase the 3D glasses, mainly because the money goes to charity. Fair warning though, they're kaleidoscope glasses - definitely do not wear if you're the one driving!! See pics below. We enjoyed the various displays and loved seeing Santa towards the end. The lights didn't really go with the music, so you can honestly listen to whatever music you want to! I had a blast visiting the Enchant at Salt River FIelds. I attended on 11/29/22 and did a full walk through of the event. I've only ever been here during Spring Training so it was cool to see the venue decorated with Christmas Lights. There are a lot of vendors there selling Christmas gifts, ornaments, and goodies. There were shows that included a ribbon dancer, a man in a huge hula hoop, and there was a maze to find all the reindeers. It's a massive event! I got to ice skate and didn't fall so yay me! AVOID! What a complete rip off!! The venue was at a baseball stadium, which I guess is fine. But there was so little to do. We had to look at everything to feel like we got our money's worth. It only took us 1.5 hours to see all we could, and we really tried to stay as long as we could. All we could with vendors already packing up and closing. What poor organization. The maze was the only highlight. There was a skating rink for an additional fee. The lights were pretty, but not so impressive and worth the cost of admission and parking. The lights and the maze were the best part. The customer service was subpar. First off the tickets online said "starting off at" and then gave a price range.. when we went to get tickets it was $5 more in price than advertised and service lady behind the window said there's "no set price" and when we asked the woman to explain how to get the lower priced ticket she said it's not available even though it's marketed as available; when you go to pay, it's the higher price. She could not explain the reason for this and had a very foul attitude as if she was bothered by us trying to understand pricing. The next vendor when we went to purchase drinks that were $22 by the way, wild..... she, poor lady, must have had a bad day and was frustrated not with us but a bad batch of lightbulb drinks.. these two interactions didn't ruin the experience but it felt like the group there were just ready for the season to be over. For as many people that pass through, it was fairly clean not a lot of trash and very pretty lights! Two people cost $70, plus the expensive cost of drinks. AND this year they $15 charged for parking and previous years they didn't. It is now over priced for what the event actually entails. read more

very "odd" Christmas lighting event. First of all, absolutely no Christmas music playing. Event was sponsored by Hallmark, but no 'hallmark' feel. Just a spot to buy Hallmark movie merchandise. Lighting was very metal, including the big 200 foot metal tree. Lights did not move to the music, especially since there was none. We paid for VIP which stated many benefits, none of which we saw. In fact, the VIP line entered slower, as you needed a wrist band. In fact, this was so unenjoyable, I would rather drive around and look at Christmas lights on the car with holiday music playing. Id like to thank Yelp Elite and Enchant for the tickets! My family and I attended on Sunday Nov 29 at 5pm and had a great time! The pros: The lights, decorations and just the whole vibe was beautiful. The maze to find Santa's reindeers gave us something to do. Everyone working there was very nice. We didn't have to walk too far from the parking lot and we didn't wait in line for anything. Last but not least- Mr. Nelson's cookies were amazing! Not sure if all the booths were supposed to have vendors when we went; but there were many that were empty. Now for the cons: I am again very grateful we got 2 tickets for this event because they are on the expensive side. Each adult ticket is about 40 ish dollars. That includes entrance. Parking is about 10$ (which is the cheapest option). Ice skating was about 18$ per person. Obviously food and drinks are additional. Even for our family of 3 if we would have had to pay full price for the experience we probably would have opted for something more affordable. Although we didn't experienced it some people do have to wait in line and walk if they parked farther away. There is also no strollers allowed in the maze- but you can leave them parked and they'll watch them for you! Overall the experience is beautiful and truly Enchanting like a Hallmark Christmas movie. My boyfriend and I wanted a romantic Christmas date before I took off to see my family across country. We came knowing what to expect based off the website. Admission was a little pricy for what was offered, but it was still very beautiful. We thought the Ice bar was included, but it was an extra $40 per person. Since it's only $20 at boardwalk, we skipped. Food was pricy too, around $15 per plate. We got warm beef and pork empanadas. They weren't filling but so delicious for the cold weather. We then went to the light maze and had so much fun walking hand in hand to find all the lighted deers in the scavenger hunt. It gave us a good reason to explore longer than we would without them. It was beautiful and a perfect Christmas date. Just make sure to bring extra money foe the extra stuff there that does not include admission. It is on the baseball field that's it and vendors are located at the consession level. No animated lights. Sub par performers. They advertise like hallmark 140 acres.. not at all true.. your better off driving the many popular neighborhoods in and around metro Phoenix. Would not recommend. This place is not worth it. Do not come here and waste your money. They promoted 30 to 20 minutes of lights and its more like 5 to 10 minutes. You'll get your money worth at Illuminations or other light show. If i could get a refund i would and is i could give it something less then a one star i would . We have been to numerous light shows over the years and this has been one of the best ones. We drug our 19 year old kids with us and even they were impressed (which is never an easy task) and wanted to go through again. Considering this is the first year at Salt River Fields they did a fabulous job with the lighting and music...something you one star grinches should keep in mind. Santa towards the end is a nice touch as well. If you actually follow their suggestions and drive through at a low speed you will find it to be very enjoyable. The 3D glasses are an absolute must! So load up the car, grab some cocoa on your way down, roll down the windows, blast the music and get yourself some holiday spirit, after all, it's for charity. read more

I have been to so many holiday lights shows over the years. My grandmother loved them, so we went to this one last week over thanksgiving weekend. It was amazing!!!!! Ive been to a couple ofther holiday light shows in Phx and this one definitely exceeded my expectations. When my family is in town for CHristmas I am going to take them, absolutely loved it! I just went to the holiday experience on Sunday. I had gone last year and it was really fun to but this year they have something called Santa's village. Santa was there taking pics w/ kids. There was this delicious food truck and a woman selling bracelets. It's was so fun to take the family through the show then have hot chocolate by the fire. Highly rec I have been to other shows but all of them are just drive thru i liked that we could go take actual holiday fam pics here afterwards and make it a real experience. 10/10!! read more
