Octane Raceway is an absolute blast! This place is awesome. There is so much to do here - from go-kart racing, axe throwing, a virtual reality arena, an arcade, plus a full bar and kitchen as well. Seriously, something for everyone! Came here for a work event, and everyone had a great time. We played the Virtual Reality and had so much fun! If you're into zombies, you have to play Outbreak! I definitely recommend trying the VR if you've never done it before, it's intense, and so life like. Plus, you get a video of everyone running around screaming at the end to laugh at! There is truly something for everyone here at Octane Raceway! Even if you're just grabbing a drink and watching the indoor go-kart racing, this place is a ton of fun. This place was so fun! I booked three races for my husband and son on Fathers Day morning. We showed up and checked in on the kiosk monitors and then headed over to the bar for a Bloody Mary. The servers at the bar were very nice and informative of the goings on. The drinks were great and we were able to carry them around and play video games while we waited for race 1. They guys had a blast. Came off the track smiling and sweaty from the helmets. By race 3 they were done and a bit sore. They had a great time but said maybe only book 2 races next time. One of the issues with this place is that they are bad at answering the phone. Also, the list of offerings they have on their website are different from what's listed physically on their store. You can get nice packages that includes a variety of their games. They have go kart racing, VR games, axe throwing, and a small arcade section. Note that the arcade section is more aimed towards children as it doesn't have the adult staples such as Street Fighter and Tekken. We tried two races and a Space Marine VR game. The races are 10 minutes long and you can't do them back to back; they put a one race buffer between your races. I think it's pretty hard to find specifically a Space Marine themed VR game and I loved how true they were to the lore; you're fighting tyranids. You can play it on normal mode which is ideal for beginners or hard mode. There were only 3 of us and one of the people was quite experienced. This made for quite a fun adventure. read more

Went here with our 10 year old nephew visiting from Thailand and had a great experience. We bought 3 race passes and played games in between, enjoyed snacks and overall had a blast. The worst experience I have ever had. Went in on a Saturday around 11 and it wasn't very busy. The staff was so rude and the guy with the long black hair in the race area clearly hates his life and his job. Will never go back. The karts were fast, the ambience was nice, bathrooms clean and the staff friendly. This is a great place to take the kids for karting, arcade, and virtual reality gaming. This used to be our go to place for birthday 's and other milestones but we keep getting drama from the regulars. The regulars are the ones with titanium passes and will do as many races as possible in a night. They are easily recognized by the racing gloves, personal helmets, and deficient body weight/height. If you don't move out of their way, they will slam full force into the back of you or force you to spin out and slam into a wall. We all have bruises to prove it. The staff does nothing to stop this. I am looking forward to getting in touch with management to see what can be done. This isn't a one off, check out the other reviews for the "regulars" bullying everyone. Great place to race. Electric carts. Great staff. Very clean open areas. Very efficient process. They have food and adult beverages and non alcoholic beverages too. Just like at Teppanyaki tables the group you sit with makes or breaks the experience so does the group you race with. I had a guy on the track who had no clue what the hell he was doing. He bumped me several times and at one point he lost control and ended up sideways on the track after taking out 2 cars! So I had to slam the brakes as to not t-bone this fool and it wrecked my time around the track. So it's all luck of the draw with who you end up with trying to pass you or being passed by you. There are track staff that are on the look out for erratic behavior but I saw no one flag or talk to this bozo. After the race we threw some axes on sight. For $16 per person for 30 minutes I thought it was fairly priced. The axe staff member was so nice and helpful and friendly. Even helped me with the throw technique! Props to you my man !!! So much fun ! Props to the bartender being so sweet! Went to Mavriks (affiliated business) next door and just walked through it and it's a very upscale place. The seating area looked very posh and they have a regular bowling experience and you can get a VIP bowling experience. Lots of video games to teach kids all about Vegas in the future like a mechanical rat pizza child casino. Enjoy these places they have a lot to offer but be ready to drop some stacks for entertainment. If you wanna play you gotta pay friends! read more

Do not go here unless you want to be told to move over the entire time by the "track marshalls" so that their regulars can drive as recklessly as they want while you are being constantly policed to get out of the way for them instead of enjoying the time you paid for, told no bumping other cars while their regulars can hit and bump you as hard as they want with no consequence! Can't just have fun and drive the cart like I paid to do. Snotty rude young workers allow this. Definitely could do use new workers. read more

Inefficient, inconsistent, and charges shady "fees." Here's the inefficient part. We went with reservations for the premium two race package. Even after booking online, we still had to check in on the screening the lobby, then stand in line again for half an hour at the register. Octane was either short staffed or everyone was new, because neither of the guys working the desk seemed to know what they were doing and needed constant assistance from another staff member. Now for the inconsistent part. We did two races. In each race, other drivers twice hit me so hard from behind that if I'd not had a helmet on, I'd likely have been concussed. So that was a total of four extremely hard hits. What did the race supervisors do? Nothing. When I left, it was with a headache and a noticeably sore spot on the back of my head. So much for their no bumping rule. Now the shady charges. Like I mentioned, we bought the premium two race package, which is slightly more expensive. Their website does not specify how the premium race packages differ from the regular ones. We didn't get anything different or extra while we were there. So basically we paid extra for...nothing. And while Octane is very up front about the requirement to purchase a membership once per year at the cost of $8, they are very tight-lipped about their "convenience fees." We didn't even know we had been charged an additional $10 "convenience fee" until we saw our bank statement, where it was listed as a separate charge from our original purchase. Upon reviewing Octane's website, I discovered that the convenience fee is hidden on the final purchase page, where it is lumped in as "taxes and fees," and which is only itemized if you click on the "taxes and fees" text. And even then, nowhere does it tell you what this "convenience fee" pays for. I've included screenshots from their website. A 10% convenience fee on top of the $8 membership fee feels excessive, especially when Octane goes out of their way to bury that convenience fee. read more

When you're ready to rev it up and do some serious racing, then head over to Octane Raceway and sign up for two or three races! A small group of us met there on a Tuesday evening and elected to do two races. After you get your head sleeve, then you wait to get called for your race time. They make sure your helmet is on right and then assign you a go-kart. Once you go sit in your car, then they unlatch the kart and and you're supposed to watch a video that tells you how to operate the vehicle. I didn't even realize the video was playing until it was half over and they had already talked about how to go in reverse (trust me, it's needed when you spin out going around a tight corner at 40 miles per hour like I did on my first lap). I finally figured it out but lost valuable race time in my effort to be the big winner. I paid close attention to the video on my second race. Do that. Expect to spend your first few laps getting accustomed to the speed and handling of your go-kart. After, then go all out to achieve your fastest lap time. Ideal place for Teens and with Mavrix's next door connected with a nice patio, it's a big expansion for everyone when it comes to more games. VR is on hand and the girls had a blast as they were all in the same race... which followed with a lot of verbal jabs thrown afterward as the girls shared the results. Races are pretty pricey, so look for deals or make sure you sign up for multiple races to lower the cost... a good thing, you don't have to use them all in one night thanx to the profile they keep on hand. This place is amazing! Review for the Go-Kart race track Awesome indoor/outdoor track race for friends and family. They have a junior race (think max speed 30mph) and adults go 45 mph. Race is track in an awesome way, they track each lap in how quick your finish, not what place your are on the track. They take your lap avg and give placements. They sit you in and as you wait to start, they have an instructional video playing for guild lines and seat adjustments. I'm not the best person to leave a review for this place. I didn't have any food or drink. I'm not the biggest fan of go karts or racing. They were behind on race times. I'm sure that's normal. They also were like almost 30 minutes behind laser tag times too. There's a little wheel to spin if you leave a review and the group I was with said I should leave a review since it's kinda my thing haha. It's super fun. I think this is an ideal place to kart for tweens and young adults. Ah, who am I kidding, I like this spot too and I'm not young. :) I haven't been here since Nov 2020 and forgot how much fun indoor electric kart racing can be. Much I have to say has been written in other reviews. I must say I miss K1 speed that has temporarily closed to relocate with two tracks. There the vibe is more serious. At Octane, the atmosphere has developed into a family friendly entertainment center. In the spring of 2020 they moved their two bowling lanes to the building next door and expanded it to 22 lanes with an arcade and offer food and drinks. The virtual playing area and ax throwing are also available for fees. A fun spot! read more
