This Hotel was clean and convenient and a good deal price wise…read more The online hotel chain webpage encourages guests to register with the addition of the guest's phot ID and information, etc. - promising to speed up check in to just getting the room key at the front desk upon arrival. The actual process was that the front desk attendant, who said she was new and didn't know how to access the information, asked us to repeat all of the same steps that we had done prior to arrival. This made me feel like the system was just gaming us to get more personal info and for reasons that didn't benefit the guest. Who knows. I doubt any nefarious actions were at the root of the behaviors of the front desk. I suppose the hotel chain online presence was attempting to provide convenience. The good intentions in this case failed, resulting in more inconveniences and exposure to the ill managed (even if well intentioned purposes) process of easy registration and check in, as well as poorly trained personnel. Am I upset? No - just annoyed by this aspect of our experience. The breakfast was great and the front desk attendant(s), as well as breakfast attendants were all friendly enough and thoughtful in all the ways one would expect. Thanks for a clean room and good night of rest. The only other things I would note is that the beds were quite firm. The beds were Q U I T E firm - but they were not old and floppy. The location is also noisy - as in road noise, we faced the road and heard the traffic all night long as the background noise during our sleep time.

The hotel is kept tidy and overall clean. Room is comfortable. Breakfast is hit and miss. I have…read morebeen here almost 2 weeks, and this week the egg cheese omelet have been cold. Last week it was spot on. The biscuit and gravy was bland no flavor at all. Staff are professional and cleaning team are great.

POOL PARTY REVIEW-So about two months I called to get prices for two rooms and the pool. The lady…read morethat day(weekday/afternoon time) gave me the room prices and I said okay we also would like to use the pool for my daughter's birthday as well, she said yeah not a problem and they have a side room we could use for her cake as well so I asked okay what is the extra cost for that? Was told nothing since you have a room. Oh okay great thanks! Didn't book rooms that had to wait, so last month called to book the rooms spoke to another lady (weekday/afternoon time) asked the same questions about using the pool for a party and room again was told no cost you have a room. So we send out birthday invitations, get a cake, show up yesterday to the hotel with few of my daughter's friends that had arrived go to check in and use pool. Two men working the desk and the one states only the room guests can use the hotel unless you rent the pool for $300. I said well that was not what I was told. I repeated story above to him, unfortunately I didnt write down names so I couldn't provide him those. He explains I am sorry for the misinformation but to use pool for party you must rent it, sign agreement, and its $300. So I asked to cancel to rooms to go towards the now $300 pool bill and if we could book it immediately because again guests had already started arriving ready to swim? Thankful he did allow us to do that since I was misinformed because normally the time slots were 12-4 or 5-9 I believe, but he allowed us to use it 4-6:30pm. So if plan to use this hotel for a pool party make sure you go in person to get and sign agreement along with paying a $50 deposit you get back as long as everything is good after party then its $300 bill for the rental, because NOWHERE online is this information stated and my experience phone calls are not reliable either.

I'm hovering over a 3 or a 4 but I'm giving them a four because the breakfast was a lot more…read moresubstantial than I thought it would be. I had a single king room to myself, which was huge for me. The staff was very friendly and there was a miscommunication on my end about who would ultimately be there but they fixed that with no issue. The pool area, yes I used it, was pretty nice. Obviously not Olympic sized but definitely a lot bigger than some other motel pools I've been in and they have a hot tub area as well to help you loosen up. The fitness area is like 3 treadmills and one of those all in one cable machines, I found a gym nearby and some others chose to run the streets instead. Again, the breakfast, is pretty complete. I'd be lucky if it was some hard boiled eggs but they had a pretty good spread, eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage patties and hash browns, not going to win any awards but included in the room? Seriously, you can't beat it.
