excellent experience with Christie's private training program. our large Golden/Great Pyrenees puppy has a disa using his right rear leg so training him for sits and other basic manners takes a bit more patience. Having trained multiple dogs throughout our lives, we still feel we learned new ways to address behaviors and training. we particularly liked the "on the go" classes which opened up many new adventures we'd never attempted on our own. We also enjoyed occasionally meeting other dogs so that our puppy could become familiar in a safe setting. Never any concerns for a negative experience. We are looking forward to continuing our education with Holistic K9 Coaching in a group setting this coming spring. Would likely recommend even for experienced dog handlers. read more

Chrissie has been a huge help with my pack of 4 dogs (2 of which who have been through training and 2 to come). After losing my husband who was pack leader unexpectedly, we experienced a lot of pack chaos and Chrissie was able to help me improve my behaviors along with my "kids" so that I have transitioned to pack leader. Extremely unprofessional. Insists on communicating only through texts so "she has documentation". Red flag. Would never call as requested to set up appointments and was trying to push us to Jan. after telling me she would have time between early Nov. and the end of the year because she was in between classes. She sent very condescending and accusatory texts followed by exclamation points and she still doesn't understand the problem with communicating in such a manner. There was no reason for her to talk to me the way she did. I don't tolerate that type of communication from anyone. She has no idea who I am nor does she know what I do. She won't find that info on the internet or social media either because I intentionally don't broadcast my life. She has continued slinging inappropriate accusations so I opted not to waste more money in Jan. and I fired her. She doesn't understand the situation because she hasn't exhibited good listening skills. She heard half of what I said and proceeded to jump to her own conclusions while creating her own story to form her reactions. If she would have communicated professionally via phone to gain an understanding, she could have avoided all of this, which ultimately led to bad reviews. When I confronted her, she got nasty and behaved extremely immaturely. If you scroll her FB page, you will see there's an inferiority complex pattern along with a lot of passive aggressive posts seemingly indicative of issues she has with various clients. I had one eval session with her and she bragged about blocking clients. Another red flag that tells you everything you need to know. She criticizes other trainers with certifications and credentials. She says that certifications mean nothing if their dogs can't behave. Well, my eval session was useless. Save your money and find a reputable trainer that doesn't just have reviews on platforms that can be deleted. Whatever issue you have will invariably require a lot more training from her to help correct it. You can also expect twists and turns in her story if you confront her. She enjoys playing the victim for attention and then has trouble telling the real story, or keeping her own story straight. Ironically, everything she accused me of is exactly what she's been doing to me. In my opinion, she is dishonest with a shallow character. She felt the need to tell lies to justify being fired and losing a client. My original review was posted on 11/21 on Yelp and Google. I highly recommend Chrissie with Holistic K9 Coaching. She is truly a "dog whisperer"! My Frenchie used to walk me instead of me walking her and I ended up with tendonitis. Once Chrissie showed me the proper way to walk her, it was a miracle! It's now a pleasure to take her on walks.
