Not too long into our journey as first time parents did we realize we were not enjoying a single second with our newborn, and instead we were pacing the house for endless hours with a screaming/crying baby. I knew something had to be done because my husband and I were at the brink of insanity (not sleeping for two weeks will do that to you). After much research, I found Desiree, and I have never looked back. I have told Desiree countless times she is worth her weight in cool. Prior to hiring Desiree, we had a baby that would not sleep in her bassinet, would only nap if someone was holding her, and wouldn't really eat. I quite literally coined our baby as the "gassiest, most fussy baby," and I remember Desiree telling me, "No you don't, don't worry I got you." She explained her training program and how things would be done and we fully trusted her and her expertise. Within a few days, we already noticed a difference. Our baby was now napping in her bassinet, was eating, smiling, and RARELY crying. Fast forward a few weeks, our baby is fully sleeping through the night, from 7 pm to 7 am. My husband and I can actually have time together to have dinner and watch a show after she goes down, and it has been the best thing for our marriage. At every corner we turned, Desiree was there. Any time I needed her or expressed any sort of concern, she was there to talk me through it and guide us on what worked best for our baby. She is an absolutely incredible human being and we already know we will use her for our next baby. Since we had such a good experience, we decided to hire Desiree for a year so she can be there throughout the different milestones and guide us on what needs to be done. You can't put a price tag on your children's safety. It was a very reasonable price. He did an assessment of our van, told us the best configuration for the infant seats along with our son's booster seat, and walked us step-by-step through the installation. Well worth it!

About a year ago I decided to get an implantable estrogen HRT pellet from Arcadia Well Woman. I did…read morea hormone panel and they told me my testosterone was low so they recommended I add some testosterone. I agreed, but the testosterone had an adverse affect on my and I spent the next three months irritable, aggressive, and full of uncontrollable anger. It affected my relationships. I almost lost my husband because of my mood shifts and irrational anger. I lost my self esteem, I grew body hair all over and I hated myself. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't think rationally. It was like a monster had taken control of my body and wouldn't let go. I decided I would never make the mistake of adding T to my hormones again. Last month I decided I wanted to try the pellet again, minus the testosterone. I went in for a checkup, and thoroughly explained what had happened last time and that while I wanted an estrogen pellet, I did not want testosterone again. The doctor agreed, she said "That was way too much, we won't do that again." We scheduled the procedure for late May. The procedure took place last thursday, and when it was over I said "I'm glad I won't have to deal with that testosterone anymore." and the doctor responded "What do you mean, we put testosterone in this pellet too." I told them to take the pellet out immediately, that we had had a thorough conversation about this and I made it clear that under no circumstances did I want testosterone. She said she didn't remember the conversation. I told her it's explicitly her job to remember the conversation. She told me there's nothing in the records about it. I told her it's explicitly her job to keep those records. The pellet had already crumbled in my body at this point and she informed me that she was unable to remove it. She gave me supplemental estrogen and prescribed spirolactone, but neither has proven effective in keeping this aggression in check. I am now faced with the prospect of another three months of artificial irritability, anger, and rage, and it is directly the fault of Arcadia Well Woman. It was malpractice, and it was assault. I wish I had the capacity to sue them. I wish I had the grace to let it go. But thanks to their actions, I have neither. Under no circumstances would I ever recommend someone go to this doctor.
