visited the facility in Spring Valley and was charged a copayment, as I was informed they were within my insurance network. However, after six months, my insurance company is now stating that they are not in-network and is billing me nearly $2,000 for a screening Pap smear. I have attempted to contact the office; however, the representative consistently reports that billing department is unavailable. Multiple messages have been sent without a response. It is both surprising and unacceptable to be told that my insurance is accepted and that a copayment was required, especially since I was scheduled for a follow-up appointment next year. At this point, I have received no response from the office. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. First they do not schedule their appointments in a timely manner, I have waited hours to just get results and Dr. Escobar rushes despite me having several questions. I am not sure why they keep the same rude and sarcastic receptionist when it is evident many patients have come across with issues with her. I was never informed by the doctor or the receptionist that my medication was only a 3 month supply and that I'd need another appointment to continue receiving my medication. Because of this I had to abruptly stop my birth control. If I had known this I obviously would've made an appointment beforehand. Plus an appointment for what?? They aren't monitoring anything and all they have to do is sent it to the pharmacy. Additionally they had lost my urine sample and when I went in for results I only received my bloodwork results and Dr. Escobar said I will receive a call for my urine results for the inconvenience after having to do it AGAIN. Then I call the office because I never got a call from them and the receptionist tells me I have to come in with an appointment for results??! All they want is the co-pay they don't care about their patients and are just money hungry. read more

I do not recommend this place at all ! My copay is $50 even when I didn't get to talk to the doctor . Everytime I went I had to pay , not to mention how rude the receptionist is and tends to make fun of people. Plus there's only 5 parking spots ! Find another OBGYN read more

My first time here I had a good experience, decent waiting time and everyone was so nice. Every experience after that first one has been so horrific. They have you literally waiting forever....... like seriously forever to even be looked at by the doctor. I could get here 15 minutes before my appointment time and I still am not seen almost AN HOUR later. It's very frustrating. read more

Place is horrible. I was a new patient. The reception is rude. Daisy and Nacima both are rude and liars. They both would tell and say Dr. Paola wasn't in the office for the day, she stepped out the office etc. (if Paola the only doctor there then how is the doctor office even open????) Dr. PAOLA didn't take her time with me. She rushed me in and out her office. When I got home and notice she haven't went over the other two test results. And when I called back the same day to get results, Daisy tried to charge me another co-pay to receive results from Paola. Which I refused to pay. Because I believe Dr Paola should had shared this information with me when I have the appointment. But still I was able to talk to Dr.Paola about a few days later. She had promised to send over recommendations that same day from the results she held back from sharing. She asked for my email as if she was going to email me recommendations and literally two weeks later no emails from her. When I called back a few days later, Reception refused to get the recommendations from Dr.Paola and instead tells me ill have to make another appt. These people are Horrible and crazy if they believe I was going to make an appointment. If I haven't called back Paola wouldn't shared the health concerns in test results. I was upset and wonder why didn't she share my health issues. I've asked them to email all test results that I have done in their office and Literally it was two weeks of back and forth just to receive my tested results. They finally sent my results today (two whole weeks of calling them and being told they would email them to me.) Oh and to mention, it a HOLISTIC GYN AND They still refuse to release one of my test results unless I sign a content form... This place is horrible!! Dont treat them with your health and children. I Dont wish bad on people but I wish these people get what they deserve. Playing with people health. read more

I went here throughout my whole pregnancy & when I brung my daughter in after having her Kate levy the dr ask me why my baby was " So dark" that is extremely racist when your not a person of color & a white woman. I would never come here again and she said it like it was something wrong I give this a negative review under one if I could. read more

Shortly after leaving my review yesterday I get a call saying I get the results tomorrow ( which is today) even had a appointment time set and everything. Although the lady I spoke to was rude as always I was excited to finally know the results and happy I didn't have to wait an whole extra week to find out BUT No surprise it's been 2 hours after the appointment for the teleconference still I haven't spoken to the nurse and I won't be surprised if I don't hear from her today at all. Place is never professional, very unorganized all the time. All I want to know is the gender so I will never have to go back or deal with this office again. Update On This ... Of Course it was an error and now my results aren't even in . I hate this office and the constant unprofessionalism and how unorganized. read more

Place is nice and clean. Lots of parking. Dr. Escobar is amazing. She was my doctor during my entire pregnancy and delivered my baby. I wouldn't be glader. She patiently enswered any concerns my boyfriend and me had about the pregnancy and got back to me super fast when she was not in the office which I love. It's always good to be able to reach your doctor when your pregnant. The lab girls are really nice, treat patients with courtesy all the time and make you feel comfortable. The three Stars goes for the waiting time, the receptionist and the medical assistant who's in charge of medical records. Most of the time you have to wait really long before being seen by the doctor. In the waiting room and then in the room the doctor will see you in. They really have to work with their schedule management, that's the point of having an appointment. The receptionist can be rude and sarcastic sometimes even on the phone. She also made me wait two weeks for the medical assistant to fill out a paperwork for my leave extension (she was on vacation) and then the medical assistant, who makes you feel like your annoying her, just had the doctor write on a prescription. so yes, they made me wait two weeks for no reason. read more

Receptionist is extremely rude & unaccommodating. I cancelled my appointment just based off the last 2 conversations from the receptionist. Being in my early stages of pregnancy, dealing with such sarcastic & rude behavior. She has zero customer service skills, rushes you off the phone. Will not recommend as a part of your pregnancy journey. read more

So I visited the Passaic location and the receptionist was super sweet and so was the lady who takes the vitals. My visit with Paula was mediocre. As family nurse practitioner myself, i was very disappointed! I was a self pay patient and basically i wasted 100$ for nothing. I was not examined by the midwife. This is the reason why advanced nurses get a bad rap because some don't take time to figure out what's really going on with the patient. She basically used what i told her and repeated what my other dr did. I came there because I figured i would get better care but I was very disappointed. I won't be visiting this place anymore. I bet if I told them I was nurse practitioner she would've went the extra mile but i like to be treated like everyone else. Hope they start treating people well and not rush them off. read more

As a new patient I showed up for my appointment early. Upon check-in, I inquired about new patient forms. I was told to sit and they would call me up in a moment. Over 20 minutes later (15+ minutes after my appointment time) I was finally called up to get forms to fill out. I asked how much longer the wait would be and was told not much longer. I left. What a terrible first impression and customer service. I wouldn't recommend this practice to anyone. read more
