I will highly recommend this spa to everyone staying at this resort- even if not staying at this resort it's worth it to come over for the spa. The customer service is on another level- they are constantly offering drinks and asking if you need anything- We felt super relaxed. They even offer you a routine if you want- which is the order of how to use each of the amenities and for about how long you should stay in each one. From the time you walk in, your person stays with you to the end and see through your spa experience. We had Abraham as our guide and were there for hydrotherapy, which I have never done. We first were directed to some of the most luxurious locker rooms I've seen and change out into their provided bathrobes and slippers. We then walked down this beautiful walkway into the hydrotherapy area. We began our experience with the sauna, which included cucumbers on eyes with a cooling rag on your head. Then came a shower. They give you 4 options, all are private showers with closing doors. I chose the one with the cold water bucket (it's literally a bucket that you stand under and pull a chain). Then came the steam room for a little over 5 minutes, followed y the cold plunge! After that freezing experience comes the massage pool, where you sit in warm water and have water jets massage you lower back. Finally came the big pool. The pool itself is pretty huge in size and has a waterfall spout you can stand under, water jets massage platforms in the pool, and water jets for your lower bag. My personal favorite was the two spouts that are shooting out water at a higher pressure as this really helped massage my neck, shoulders, and chest. Overall, I give this experience a 11/10. I definitely recommend the hydrotherapy spa experience if you're staying in Hyatt Ziva Cancun.

And she took her time. She speaks extremely good English and she not only does eyelashes, but she is a medical doctor. She is a gastroenterologist in case you need a doctor after eating too much Mexican spicy food.

I prefer to see someone that has a speciality and mastered that specialty. I got a deep tissue massage from Michel. She washed my feet and gave me the fish foot bath for free before the massage. Just before the massage she had me breathe in an aromatherapy oil and it was nice and calming. She was very sweet and her massage was amazing. The place was clean and professional. The oils she used smelled great and I liked still having it on my skin after. I usually do not like the oils at other places. Everything was perfect. I came back for a pedicure and the experience was also amazing. Better than ones I've gotten in the states. I received a facial from Linda. I chose to get the deep cleansing and she was very thorough. To be completely honest it was a bit uncomfortable at times but she cleaned out every blackhead and clogged pore. I forgot all about that when she put the soothing mask on and massaged my scalp, shoulders and feet. Boyfriend received a deep tissue massage and said his masseuse was very well trained. My facial was 70us and his deep tissue was 60$. Comparatively priced for all the massage places in the hotel zone. read more

My husband and I were skeptical initially because if the "free fish treatment". We are so happy we ventured from our hotel across the road and went. We had a couples deep tissue massage...best ever and came back a few days later for massage and pedicure. The staff is professional and so knowledgeable about the anatomy! I had my first deep tissue massage with Barbara. She was wonderful as she was able to work out many knots in my neck and upper back. She always asked if the pressure was too much or if I needed more. The entire spa was immaculately clean and sanitized. All of the staff was friendly and courteous, and the atmosphere was calming and relaxing. I was approached by Juan Carlos for a free neck massages at the pool, so I took him up on it. He seriously worked it right out. I could have kissed him. So forward to October 2019 I see Juan Carlos around the pool with his massage chair giving free 10 minute massage. So I got the 10 minute massage and just melted. So I made an appointment for 4 p.m. that day for a full body massage overlooking the sea. Hands down best massage ever. He is firm yet gentle. Thoroughly worked me into heaven. When he was done I told him "why didn't I do this the first day I got here" He said majority of his clients say that. I will seek him out the moment I get to Cancun. The spa it's self in the hotel is stunning. Being on the club level you have total access to it as well as an indoor pool. Do yourself a huge favor and stay at JW Marriott while in Cancun.
