BUYER BEWARE. DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY. DOESN'T CARE ABOUT VETERANS AND DOING THE RIGHT THING…read more Yesterday (09/22/25) I had a scheduled appointment with his Paralegal at 10:30 a.m. Did not receive a phone call or notice until I sent a text message at 11:15 a.m. Then, magically received a call. Provided an in-depth summary with evidence. Scheduled a phone call with Attorney at 11:30 a.m. (09/23/25) Attorney was late calling me for the scheduled appointment. It seems like his firm has a "TIME MANAGEMENT" issue. Can you imagine having to file by a certain deadline and, because they lack "TIME MANAGEMENT" abilities, now your case is screwed. The Attorney didn't listen to the facts and articulation of said facts. He was purely stuck on the fact that the employer is a governmental entity. He claims to care about doing the right thing but lacks a courage to do so. I can't imagine being an Attorney then being a complete coward of a human being. During the call he admitted he didn't know how to argue and would lose a standard employment law argument. What? Then why are you claiming to specialize in Employment Law if you heavily implied that you don't know and are a quitter. You have people's livelihoods in your hands. To admit/heavily imply you don't know how to defend a case tells me you DO NOT FIGHT FOR YOUR CLIENTS. You have an ethical obligation to give your clients the best defense possible. I'm so shocked by his "admission" that I'm considering contacting the state bar. That is insane! I've never heard an attorney flat out admit that before. I have better facts and evidence than 99% of the "purely speculative" cases he does accept. I don't know if he made that admission simply because he isn't willing to help Veterans (I'm a Veteran and this is a related to Veterans) which gives me the impression he doesn't care about Veterans. In conclusion, if you are a Veteran and/or actually care about Veterans then STAY AWAY FROM THIS FIRM. This was the worst discussion I've had with an Attorney. Admits to not knowing how to fight a case is insane.

They were consistently prepared, responsive, and patient, taking the time to explain each step in a way that made a complex and stressful process far more manageable. Their expertise gave us real peace of mind during a challenging time. What impressed us even more is that West Legal Group offers a multitude of legal services, including wills and estate planning, personal injury, and business law. It's reassuring to know we have a trusted professional we can turn to for future legal needs as well. I would confidently recommend Brian West to anyone seeking knowledgeable, reliable, and compassionate legal representation. Brian West, he's the BEST!!

Let me begin by saying that I cannot find Brian's bar number either nationally or on the state bar…read morewebsite. I also noticed that not one document he has provided has his bar number listed. After my consultation Brian's attitude and tone changed drastically. He seemed annoyed and over worked. He lacked professionalism in his language and was extremely disrespectful during several of our calls. He cursed at me because I could not print a document that required a live signature only confirming I made a bad decision by retaining him. His paralegal Brenda lied stating she never received documents that I emailed to her, then she lied claiming my case was dismissed due to missing paperwork. I confirmed with the court they never received any paperwork for my case. She lied again claiming she informed of information that she did not. She failed to follow up with me even after confirming my case was still active with the court. Both Brian and Brenda have blamed me for the failure of my case. Now as of May 21st I was received notice that my case was dismissed on the 19th due to my attorney not complying with the deadline, but I was told by Brian's office that it was due to me not paying the trustee. Court clerk confirmed this was not the issue. He has been deceptive from the beginning, claiming he has been doing this for over 15 years, but he graduated in 2020 and his Linkin profile states his practice within the last four years. I informed him during our conversation that I record EVERYTHING, and I meant what I said.

I used GEB for my Chapter 7 bankruptcy case and had no issues. Everything went pretty smooth and I…read morehaven't had any issues since my case was finalized. Shortly after, I had a child custody issue arise and asked if my lawyer had any recommendations. She told me she was family law too, so I hired her and paid her retainer fee. The first step was mediation, which didn't go so well. We ended up coming to an agreement right at the end, which I still wasn't 100% comfortable with. Several months later, we were required to mediate again before our final court date, so I paid the lawyer again and we went to a free mediator, which ended in my ex calling an impasse right away. After mediation my ex and I talked it out and came to an agreement on our own, which we shared with my lawyer. On the day of the final court hearing, we were both made aware that we needed to complete a parenting class prior to that court hearing. The judge was understanding and let us complete it after the hearing. We got all the details of the final orders worked out, along with child support and medical support orders. I guess she went and asked my ex for his work information to try and get the support withheld from his paycheck. He gave her false information twice and then I told him to quit emailing her because she was charging me insane amounts of money for him giving her the wrong information and having to do it over. A couple months later, I got a bill from them and asked why I was being charged for his errors. They said if they hadn't gotten the information, I wouldn't be getting paid child support. I told her that I wasn't even getting any child support, and I guess it was a misunderstanding. She said they fixed the problem and I should be getting payments. I told her I'll send payments to pay down the balance as soon as child support payments come through. Several months later, I get another bill. I told them there was never any withholding and I'm just not paying for services that didn't happen. So now the lawyer tells me if he's in jail, I won't be getting payments. He's not in jail. He's working 3 jobs, none of which are getting wages withheld, and she says if I don't pay they will sue me for a $400 balance. Even though there's no proof they even did any work, since there would be withholding if they really did handle up on the issue.

My husband and I found this law firm via the phone book and obtained their services on 01 Mar 12 to…read moredraft and execute our wills, power of attorney, etc. Should be simple, text book law services. There was little to no oversight by the primary attorney assigned to our case. Paralegals and interns prepared the documents with numerous errors. After reviewing the documents and requesting the errors to be corrected the documents were again sent in error. Finally signing/notarizing the documents 3 months later in June 2012 and performing another review when we got home, errors were again found and the wills had to be amended and resigned/notarized in July 2012. The numerous change of beneficiary forms were incorrectly completed and not completed in their entirety although the firm had all the information they needed in their possession. To date 08 Aug 12 the beneficiary forms are still incorrect and we are having to personally have them amended and contact our financial institutions. This was to be part of their service that we paid $1600.00 for. The treatment and services we received at G E & B was very unprofessional and we would not recommend this firm. In addition, due to the numerous errors we are uncomfortable with the current documents and will have to obtain the services of yet another law firm to have them review the final wills to ensure they are correct.
