I called a few shops that said they took walk ins and they were all booked for the day at 9am. I called fancy cuts and Yen answered and invited me to come on over. Now it's in a shopping plaza and it's not a fancy place by any means. The last time I went to super cuts/famous Sam's or even the last high end places left me sad and upset. So as I walk in and see a barber cutting a kids hair and no one else in the shop I got a lil worried. Then came from the back and was not what I expected compared to boujee shops I've been to lately. I asked her if she could cut dry and she assured me she could. I showed her photos and she immediately said she understood the assignment. I was already in the chair and I just closed my eyes and began to pray. Can you imagine my surprise when I opened my eyes and the excess hair was gone, my hair had movement, and it was so stinking cute!!!! the best part is the haircut was 25 bucks!!!! They have a loyalty rewards program so you get a stamp everytime you go and then a free cut. I have found my diamond in the rough, yen is my new bff and I will continue to see her.
