This place is a total scam. I went here for 2 years, so a total of 4 times. Over the course of those 2 years my teeth were never cleaned properly, which caused me to have severe sensitivity. The dentist suggested a $500 treatment to "fix" the sensitivity. I finally left and went to The Proper 32, the hygienist there spent 1.5hrs deep cleaning my teeth and i haven't had even a minor sensitivity since!!! I was early postpartum and the dentist preyed on me by talking about how she's a mother and loved bfing, yadada. I am a military wife and felt i had nowhere else to go because nowhere accepted my insurance. I ended up paying out of pocket for the new dentist and it was the best decision i ever made. My teeth are strong, healthy, and perfect again despite Hollander trying to destroy them. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! read more

office was fine, facilities clean, honestly the bare minimum i would expect regardless. the dentist i saw was nice but she tried to upsell me to get special cleanings, which was fine, but then she told me she hates working with insurance when i asked if any of the speciality services would be covered. had to follow up with the office several times to get them to submit paperwork to my insurance company for authorization, they lied to me and said it was submitted... called my insurance to follow up and found out that the front desk never actually sent anything in after telling me for like a month that my insurance company was just slow to respond.... (at the end of the day my insurance did cover everything... the office for whatever reason was extremely reluctant, negligent and dishonest in trying to lead me to believe that my service would not be covered. i only knew they lied because i called my insurance company myself.) didnt go back for a few years because that was such a headache but they are literally 3 minutes away from me so i ended up having them make me a new retainer and used my fsa card but then lost entire brain cells dealing with the front office staff to get a copy of my receipt to send to my insurance company... took months to get it and i requested an email receipt the day of my appointment when i paid, over the phone x2, and then had to call two more times to simply get a statement emailed to me. overall it took about 4 months of calling the office to finally get it which i think is insane... definitely recommend going literally anywhere else unless you feel like babysitting the front office staff if you happen to need a receipt or paperwork submitted to your insurance. they are literally less than a mile from me and i go elsewhere because it is that much of a nightmare scenario to deal with the front desk staff. if you pay for everything in cash, i think they would prefer that and thats why they made it so hard for me to use my insurance. honorable mention to the dental hygienist that works there though! i forget her name but she's great! remembered me after i came back years later and she was quick and efficient! read more

I just had my teeth cleaned and x-rays done here today, first time client and my experience was perfection! The staff was very friendly and Dr. G was personable, professional, and friendly. Nicole was my hygienist and she did a very great job with my teeth cleaning (they look and feel so good), and she was very caring and made the experience as comfortable as can be. The office was spotless and put together, and I liked the location being right off the freeway and outside of the village. I thought I was being a bit sensitive to feeling like I was possibly being scammed into dental work that was not needed but after todays appointment I was confident that I needed to find a new dentist. I experienced many of the things that others are saying being pushed: excessive amount of teeth cleanings, mouth guards, whitening, and the latest today was laser treatments. After one of the ladies came in to tell me how much I would need to pay she pushed the pen and paper at me to sign without any agreement from me. I said I am going to hold off on this... At this point she began to raise her voice and what felt like bullying saying, "This is why we are dropping HMO's because people like you don't get necessary dental work done!" People like me?? Not very happy with this office. Every time I go I am being advised to buy laser treatments, which I can't afford. Their periodontal cleanings are no different than regular cleanings I've been getting at previous offices and since I only get 2 of these covered I have to come out of pocket for the other two. I can't really say anything good or anything horribly bad but I can tell you they tried to charge me an arm and a leg just for a "deep" cleaning where they wanted to clean half my mouth at a time, and split me up into 3 visits! I felt SO pressured and they weren't able to budge with a payment plan and to be honest, they did an exam (aka took X-rays and peeked in my mouth for a bit) and I left so dissappointed im glad I didn't fill out their "care" credit form for about $800 worth of treatment they wanted to give to me. I'm totally getting a second opinion and if they're right then maybe I'll bump up some stars on this review. Til then, I'd beware of this place. I have an extremely compromised immune system. I called to make a periodontal appointment and asked specific questions about who would be masked, what kind of masks and filtration. I was told EVERYONE would be required to mask, including staff and patients, I was told that the Dr and hygienist would be wearing N95's. I arrived to find unmasked people in the waiting room and everyone in loose paper masks. I also learned that there is NO periodontist on staff and that he comes once a month. This is all the exact opposite of what I was originally told. The hygienist was very understanding and put a better mask under her paper one. Dr. Omidi however REFUSED to wear anything but a worthless floppy paper mask. I called to very specifically ask these questions and was lied to. I left without receiving care because a Doctor REFUSED to wear a quality mask on a day where the cdc map looks like THIS attached below. Never any high-pressure sales or unpleasant office visits, plus she was willing to work with me on pricing for my veneers (2 fake front teeth people, check 'em out!). I needed a cleaning and a check up; I chose to go to the closest dentist to me that took my new insurance, after recently moving to the Village. Now, I've moved around the country a lot, this is by far the first time I had to find a new dental office. So, I walk in...office looks a bit stark; people weren't the most friendly at the front desk. I say whatever and am called back to the dentist chair. I can definitely say it's the only time the first touch from the dentist caused more pain/sensitivity than before I got there (I didn't have any pain prior to arriving!). It's the first time I felt like my great aunt at a car mechanic. The dentist was whimsical and condescending. They kept trying to push procedures on me after I explicitly said no (they still do over the phone). $300 for a mouth guard to prevent grinding? What's wrong with a $10 football mouth guard? I've never witnessed a dentist go through the motions more so that what I experienced here, like they didn't care at all. I wasn't going to leave a review until they were pushy with blatant disregard with what I didn't want and explicitly said no to. This is the first time I've had a dental cleaning where I walked out not with that fresh, clean feeling in my mouth; but, with more pain than I had before plus a feeling I got cheated and duped, to boot. CROOKS!!!! BEWARE! The owner is unprofessional and tries to charge you for things you do not need. I went to a different dentist and discovered that I did not need the $1500 worth of work she claimed I needed. I had questions and she never came back to the room to speak with me. I called the office twice and she never returned my calls. I only had X-rays but they billed my insurance for a full cleaning. They charged me $10 to email me a copy of my X-rays and they were sloppy, poor quality copies. The owner kept calling me baby and sweetheart, which made me extremely uncomfortable. The girl that comes in to discuss the billing is rude. The entire experience was horrible. read more

This wasn't the worst dental experience of my life but they tried and managed to convince me to purchase a lot of extra stuff. Among some of the things they tried to sell me was a night guard, and two different antimicrobial mouth washes. I purchased one of them and later found out it caused my teeth to turn colors, a side affect that could have been mitigated had I been given proper instructions about avoiding coffee, tea, and wine. Also the dentist cleaned my teeth so fast and aggressively. Everyone was super nice though. I just took away one star for being too sales driven and one for not giving proper instructions for a prescription mouth rinse. read more

Probably one of the worst experiences of my life. Upon entry, no one greeted me, which is the BIGGEST pet peeve of mine. I came in to get a crown put in and some fillings after I had switched insurance, and when I came in to check in Zaira was extremely rude to me from behind the counter. I have had better service at gas stations in Inglewood (where I'm originally from). Anyway the whole staff was super unprofessional, and mischarged me for a teeth cleaning before I even agreed to doing so. To top it off my filling CRACKED TWO DAYS AFTER my appointment!!! I am also in my early twenties and pregnant, and for some apparent reason was being mistreated for my situation. My son went to Hollander years ago so I thought I would check them out . I am so extremely happy I did . Dr. Omidi and her staff are the most warm and friendly group of people . Dr. Omidi was gentle and explained everything thoroughly giving me options and helping me start my long list of dental work I knew I needed . She makes you feel like you have been life long friends and seems to genuinely care about your needs . The office manager was awesome at helping me understand what is and is not covered with my HMO plan . They NEVER tried to push me into anything . What a refreshing change . Dr. Omidi gave me the most beautiful veneers which gave me back my smile I had missed for years . We still have work to do but for the first time I don't feel apprehensive about seeing my dentist . oh my gosh, I don't even know where to start. I have never in my 70plus years of life been told by a dentist that I had to have procedures done. When I chose not to do all extras they told me and my husband (who had been going there for many years) not to come back. They have been an HMO dentist for many years and I believe that they are transitioning to a fancy cosmetic and implant facility. Lots of renovation and fancy business cards. I scheduled my first appointment for a cleaning and X-rays. I have had absolutely no problems with my teeth. I use a water pick everyday and floss. I had only gone to my previous dentist two times a year for maintenance. I went there and only had to wait ten minutes. The assistant took me in and I had to fill out lots of paperwork. I was told that they probably won't be taking this insurance (HMO) for much longer. She then did my X-rays and told me that I take very good care of my teeth. They look wonderful. We talked about professional whitening. The doctor finally came in and told me that there has to be trust between the patient and dentist. I agree completely, but feel the trust has to be earned first. She proceeded to tell me that she would not do a simple cleaning on me and that I needed 5 specific additional procedures. One being a deep cleaning of my implant. I have had this implant for ten years with no problem. I don't want it removed and worked on. So, I asked for a list of work recommended and prices. I was told that she would not just do a simple cleaning. Doctor left room. So the receptionist brought in the list with explanations. The regular price of work was $692 and I would only have to pay $155 (good deal for me if I wanted all that work done). She said this is what the doctor recommends and would not do a simple cleaning. I was not happy, but agreed to everything except the implant deep cleaning. The receptionist told me that the doctor had already moved on to another patient and I would have to reschedule. What??? I have never heard of something like this before. Two days later we received a letter that my husband and I were not going to be patients in this office. Wow, wow, wow. I believe that this was a way to get rid of two HMO patients. Obviously, this was not about money for me. It was the fact that this dentist is pushing, insisting on many more services than I went in for. After all, she told me that she had been a dentist on Park Avenue in New York!!!!! read more
