This recommendation is underpinned by responsiveness, excellent customer service, strong technical ability - and most importantly - a personable, trustworthy, and passionate owner-operator. With the turn of the seasons, our aging furnace wouldn't blow warm air. After researching local HVAC companies via online reviews, we connected with Master Home Touch Service in the Freehold/Manalapan area. The owner, Hovhannes Mirimanyan ("Hov"), was free that day for a service call ($100, but waived for larger projects). We mutually agreed that it was time to replace the 30 year-old furnace. Hov carefully walked us through the issues with our current furnace and air conditioning systems. He then outlined in a "no pressure" presentation several solutions, providing a cost-benefit analysis of each system (G/E, Rheem, Bosch). He showed us photo portfolios of past similar projects. A few days later, a three-person installation crew arrived at our home at 7 AM to perform the removal of the prior HVAC, and install the new system. The installation was completed by lunchtime, with our home left in pristine condition. The next morning, Hov returned to walk us through the details of the installation and how to perform basic maintenance items on the furnace. The Rheem system works great, is quiet - and connected to a smart Honeywell thermostat. The price paid was fair relative to the quality of services rendered. In summary, I highly recommend Master Touch Home Service for residential HVAC projects. They also provide commercial service and selecting plumbing services (e.g., hot water heater replacements).

Their website reassured us that they were the go-to guys to install the EV charger in our garage for our new Tesla Model 3. Communication was never a problem. They always got back to us promptly if we had any questions or concerns. They arrived on time the morning of to install. Cleanup was meticulous. Very friendly and professional and always kept us in the loop with each step. Instead of going with the Tesla wall charger, our electric company PSE&G offers a rebate when you charge up your EV from 9pm-7am. You would have to go with one of their two approved non-Tesla EV chargers though so that they can get the readings. I look forward to these amazing savings and will use all the loose change for my boba addiction.

On June 28, 2014, Iaione Electric, Inc. installed 6 recess lights in my unfinished attic. One of…read morethe light started malfunctioning a month after the installation. The bulbs kept burning out and sparkles came out of the recess light shell. I called the owner of the company, Tom Iaione, several time to come back to rectify the problems. He did not even bother to return any of my calls. I showed the Iaione light installation to another contractor. My contractor informed me that the entire installation is against the Electrical Code and it might create a severe fire hazards. These people do not even know the basic facts and knowledge about electric installation. I cannot figure out how they obtained the sate licence. I have filed formal complaints against them with Better Business Bureau and Board of Examiners of Electrical Contractors. But, Iaione has failed to provide responses. Iaione is not qualified to be a licensed electrician. Please join me and file your complaints against Iaione with the same agencies. May be the board suspends their license for not doing any other shoddy jobs. THEY ALL HORRIBLE. AVOID THEM AT ANY COST. I

Zero Stars if possible…read more Summer of 2017 one of our HVAC units was freezing over and not functioning. Hanna's Mechanical (then contractor of American Home Shield AHS ordered a new valve based upon their leak diagnosis. When the valve came in (a LONG and HOT time later), the repair work was finally completed on November 9th. A new valve was installed and I was told that the system was pressure tested. I was advised, based upon the pressure test, that the system was holding the pressure and that the system could be re-filled with freon (any remaining freon had to be emptied in order to run the test). Based on their statement that the system was holding pressure, I paid them $725 to re-fill the unit with Freon. I later learned that they really should have preformed a dye test. Since it was November in NJ, the system was changed over to winter/heat for the season. I requested a written receipt from Hanna's Mechanical for work that was conducted and a receipt has never provided. In April 2018 the system was switched back to Air Conditioning for summer. The system did not function. I called Hanna's Mechanical and spoke with Barbara on April 16th @ 3:36 pm. I advised her that the unit was not working. She would not help me or send someone for service and told me to follow up with American Home Shield as they no longer worked with AHS. (Hanna's Mechanical refused to stand behind their work.) I phoned American Home Shield. I was again notified that Hanna's Mechanical no longer worked with American Home Shield. Another AHS HVAC contractor was sent out for service on 4/18/18. They diagnosed that the upstairs AC unit was extremely low on Freon and that they needed to conduct a leak test to determine the source. Preforming the leak test would release any remaining Freon in the system. The system was not used since the November repair until April 2018 when it was diagnosed as almost empty of Freon, so Hanna's Mechanical either did not perform the fix properly or they did not fill the unit with Freon.
