I bought a classy, three-piece bespoke suit from Holley's. The salesperson, Lucas Wieser was professional and extremely easy to work with. He listened to what I was looking for, showing me different options that fit the bill. The suit I bought looked great! Everything went so smooth, from fitting to the final product. And no hard sell, either. Holley's Shop for Men I've honestly never been more disappointed about tuxes, and my suit being built than I have the last month. I had to be resized for my tux multiple times, along with a lot of my wedding party for it to still not fit. Fast forward two weeks I had to purchase a suit for another wedding. I went in 5 times to get things altered. Still to end up with a hole in my butt and having to deal with it because alterations that took 5 times to complete weren't done to completion until 12 hours before the day of the wedding. They had people in my wedding party with pants and shirts way too big for them, told them to put on a belt, or to tuck the shirt in a certain way. When I put on my pants that I told them we're going to be too big they told me to put on a belt as well. That's not the point of a fitted suit or tux. This is probably my 5th wedding that I've ordered through them but this last time was horrific and they didn't want to work to fix things just do things to try and bypass the problem. Spent way too much money to not have either fit perfect Update: What an absolute disgrace and unprofessional experience this place was today. I came to get my pants sewn together that had come apart even before the wedding I was in. Didn't come to argue didn't come to complain. Just wanted my pants put together correctly. Gentleman that was helping me, older gentleman wears a suit coat often, Only got to work with him once before, and he and Bobby were great help compared to the other two I dealt with there. Another worker, started coming at me about the review I made without even making a comment about it. Blamed me and our wedding parties for our issues we had through two weddings. Again I had not come to say a word, just get my pants that were messed up from the get go fixed. We shared a lot of words not one time did he truly apologize for any inconvenience just blamed it everything on the two wedding parties. Disgraceful. Disgusting. Unprofessional. I am back visiting family and have never used this location before. My brother and his fiancé are using Holley's for their wedding. The big day is in 3 days and I just arrived back in Iowa, and wanted to go into the store to try in my tuxedo to make sure everything fits properly. I called them to ask if I could come in and try everything on and from the very beginning everyone was extremely pleasant. Once I arrived, everyone was just as friendly as they were on the phone and extremely, extremely helpful! I tried on the tuxedo and everything fit absolutely perfectly, which means when I called in my measurements they took them down perfectly! All in all I wish I could give these guys more than five stars as they were absolutely incredible, I would highly highly recommend them over any other locations around Cedar Rapids. read more

I have always heard great things about Holley's, but this was the most stressful party about planning our wedding. We looked at other men's stores, but settled on Holley's since they had the specific color we wanted for our wedding. We ordered 7 suits for our wedding 4 months in advance. Holley's told us that was plenty of time to get everything ordered and tailored. They said they had sizing for all 7 guys, but now the groom's suit is an inch too short and there's nothing we can do about it. The service I received at Holley's was truly remarkable. I had an interview moved up one week, so I only had a few days to get a new suit. I was asked several questions to ensure that my needs were met, and I got a great suit at a fantastic price. I told the sales associates the urgency involved, and although they were dealing with high school homecoming at the same time, they made sure I had my new suit tailored and ready to go within 24 hours. Wanted to support a local small business, so when my husband needed a suit for our son's wedding I sent him to look at Hollys. He didn't want to order it until I saw it, so I went to give my approval and make a down payment so that the suit could be ordered. I was given a receipt for the payment and the receipt indicated that the balance was $258.45. The suit arrived, was altered (free alterations) and my husband paid $274.50 I don't have any complaints with the suit, when I went back to ask why my husband was charged more than the balance due, I was told the price put on the receipt with the deposit wasn't the actual cost, that they basically just put a price down so they could accept the deposit. How is this good business practice? I know it's only $16.05, but it's the principle that if you tell someone they owe $258.45 that's what they should pay. So much for shopping local. read more

For Cedar Rapids, this men's store has great selection. However I encountered an unprofessional salesman (who's actually the owner, he says) after returning an item bought a few days ago. I explained that the sport coat did not go well with any of my trousers so I'd like to return it and at the same time buy the $169 Johnson and Murphy shoes I looked at earlier that week. I received a rude comment that he had already taken the tags off the jacket and why couldn't I just wear it with jeans. Keep in mind when I was in there just a few days ago spending over $500 on sport coats and shirt, he was all over me, showing me $150+ shirts and loving my Amex. Today, I'm persona non-grata. Will never return to this store to buy, will shop out of town or online. read more

I came in to get fitted for a suit I had ordered. The suit fit close to perfect!! A minor alteration was needed and is a part of the suit purchase. Bobby was very professional and asked many questions about different aspects of the suit's fit that I would not of thought about looking at. He also helped me get a vest & ties for a tux that I have. The price was very reasonable. What I noticed was that as Bobby was helping me out, he asked a coworker to help steam the vest and remove tags from a couple other pieces that I bought. The other gentleman, without any fusS, went right to work helping out. I am VERY IMPRESSED!! Holleys is a top notch men's store and ALWAYS provides GREAT service! Holleys doesn't care about their customers. Don't use this company. Customer service is awful. One of the major stresses of my friend's wedding was using this company. Errors and delays on most of the clothing needed. 3 of the groomsmen and myself included didn't get our clothing until the morning of the wedding. read more

We bought a gorgeous suit for our son and the staff was extremely friendly, patient, professional, and helpful. Our son needed his suit altered by the next day and they were able to accomodate us! The prices were great and I felt like they cared about us so much! I would love to give them business again. read more

We ordered our tuxedos there for our wedding. They had better selection than the other places in town and were the cheapest. The tuxedos were given to us the Tuesday before the wedding. My dad was coming from out of town. He tried on his tux the day before the day before the wedding, and the vest was too big. We went to Holley's that afternoon, and they had a new one for us the morning of the wedding. The tuxes turned out great, and the salesman was very helpful with our order. The only draw back was that they called 3 times inquiring about one of the groomsman's measurements they had already taken and apparently kept not writing it down, and they only would call my husband despite the fact that I was the one who ordered them and told them to call me. read more
