Pedicures are nice and the polish lasts and I don't have to get a fill in for three weeks at a time what's not to like. I'm not typically the one to write reviews or complain BUT wanting to keep this honest. I was in search of a place to get my eyebrows waxed (as i'm of asian background) and came across this place. I walked in on a quiet Monday afternoon & met the owner who did my eyebrows...after my session, I chatted with the owner about other services & proceeded to pay. As i got into my car and began driving, my eyebrows were burning, a sensation i never felt before. I looked into the car mirror to find that layers of my eyelids were torn off. The pain was really strong as my skin was raw. To note, I had a photoshoot the next day. Early the next morning as they opened, I returned to make them aware of the situation. Two of the people that worked there was extremely nice & empathized on what happened. They asked me if I would wait for the owner. I waited almost 15 minutes for the owner to come in, I asked her why she didn't tell me upfront that it had happened & she ignored me. She told me I shouldve said i have sensitive skin (which i dont...). She proceeded to tell me she'll put cream (CORTISONE 10) and she'll send me home with some - it'll heal in a couple days. Barely any remorse, and gave me a refund. I walked out of there with a bag of cream and my $17. I'm not even one for free stuff but she didn't even try to make it right...so yeah, I won't be returning & urge people that this isn't a business to support. To say the least, my face is messed up for a couple weeks & they don't even care.. SO NO, DON'T GO. Here is a few minutes after its done vs. what it looks like a day later. read more

I randomly came in a week ago and treated myself to some SNS nails. I loved how long they lasted and not one broke off! (I usually run into this issue) So I come in a week later to get them filled in but I am informed that sns nails need to be removed if you want a new color. (I was a first timer lol) I immediately agree to a new set but the lady looked annoyed and said "pick color" I did. She said she'd be right back. I saw her go into the back so I'm thinking she's getting all her stuff together ya know? She came back 15 minutes later empty handed! I'm like cool, whatever. Guys she continued to just sit in the back area while I was waiting. I stood up trying to see if she was ever coming back for me. She looked at me and went back to an area where I couldn't see her anymore. I was trying to talk to the rest of the staff to see if she was ever going to come back and they completely ignored me. If you don't want to service someone just let them know or at the very least lie and say you're busy or that you have an appointment about to come in. They do a good ...but the don't use freshly sanitized utensils with every client. That's my only complaint.

If you want lumpy nails Messy polish and lumpy acrylics attached with glue that burns like fire and cuts on your skin then this is the place for you. Not only was this a horrible experience because I do not know how to do nails the customer service was terrible and the woman who did my nails lied about the price. Hey Ladies! If you are wondering if you should visit this place just take a look at my photos. I was a first time customer as of Sunday 6/20/21. I went in for a manicure(fill in) and spa pedicure. I made a nail appointment online that Saturday 6/19/21 and I was delighted by the quick response the next morning confirming my appointment, I walked in to Hollies nails there were only two employees and one being the manager by the name of Tina who did my manicure and the other person was a nice male employee who did my pedicure, I'll give my pedicure a 4 out of 10. As far as my manicure with acrylic nails, I would give a -0 out of 10. My first nail broke exactly 1 hour and about 20 mins after my 2 hour appointment. It broke while I was doing my makeup so therefore it had no reason to break at all. I called they tried to get me to come in the next day and I told them I would need to come back in the same day which was Father's Day because I had already pushed my reservation back an hour because of a broken nail. I sat in the nail salon for at least 45 mins before she was able to come over and fix the nail. Tina rushed my nail and I say that because that SAME nail just broke again today 6/26/21 along with my pinky nail that broke two days after my appointment and the middle finger nail that broke the next day after my appointment. I called to let Hollies nails know the situation. An employee there told me they'll fix it but I couldn't get a refund because people break their nails over the weekend and expect them to give the refund. I'm like I literally had to come in ONE HOUR after my nails were done so I'm not those people and also my nails continued to break. No type of hard labor whatsoever. They refunded me because I made a big deal of my nails breaking after calling two days in a row and going up there and like I mentioned to them it's not about the refund it's about the overall service after my refund my nails are still breaking with the slightest movement which led me to leave this review, I have bloody nails it's even caused my real nails to break, so if you really care for the quality of your nails DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE OF BUSINESS!!!!!! and did I mention Tina completely change the shape of my nails from coffin to square. I decided to check out Holli's Nails as it is right down from the cleaners that I go to. They offer a manicure and gel nail polish for $25, and I thought that was pretty good. The atmosphere is nice and spacious and it looks like a pretty clean spot. When I entered, I was greeted immediately, and I told them the service I elected for that day. The gentleman, who was working on another customer, called out to a young lady who was sitting there doing some type of paperwork. He had to call her name twice because I guess she was completely absorbed in what she was doing. As I sat down, I immediately picked up on some type of vibe that I really didn't care for from this young lady. It was as if she was annoyed or bothered that she was interrupted from whatever she was doing. She wasn't a friendly person and she had somewhat of a scowl on her face. In hindsight, I should have opted to leave. As the manicure went on, she kept looking down at her phone and was generally distracted. Her attention clearly was not on me. At any rate I told her at one point that I wanted to take my sweater off and she looked at me and asked in a rude tone, "Why?" I told her, "Because I want to!" I was really bent by that exchange. Finally after I paid, she decided that it was time for her to be nice so she began asking me my name and blah, blah, blah. It was too late for that though. I was ready to go. It was my first time visiting and I have to say that the first impression was not a good one. With all the options that I have available for nail salons I will elect not to return here. Customer service is everything and I just didn't feel wanted or welcomed. So while I feel she did a decent job on the manicure, I did not like the way that I felt when I was there and therefore, I will not return. I'll give some other salon my business. read more

I visited Hollie's 'sweat shop' last week. I call it a sweat shop because everyone in the store was sweating because the AC was apparently broken. My poor tech was dripping sweat everywhere. It was definitely uncomfortable and I couldn't wait to get out of there! I do feel bad because the tech I go to there, is so sweet and does a really great job. I really hope she goes to a new shop so I can see her again. Fix the AC and I'll come back! read more

On Friday 8/12/16 at 4:30 pm I went to Hollie nails for the First time and had a manicure and a pedicure. The salon was clean and the staff was very pleasant during my pedicure I asked for the callus remover a service I have had many times at the salon I normally attend. While receiving the callus remover I notice a lot of dead skin and the manicurist even joked about how much skin was coming from my feet. Once my feet we submerged back in the water I felt them burning and noticed my feet were bloody and the skin was scrapped off and inflamed. The manicurist apologize but didn't understand the severity of the issue I went back the next day to show the manager my feet and request a refund. I was refunded my money for the pedicure and they staff was kind. I don't think the lady who performed my services is licensed and I strongly urge you NOT to use this salon. The Staff was nice but scrubbing your feet raw can open you up to infection and it's not worth it. read more

I went because someone gave me a gift card. It was okay. I didn't like how they arched my eyebrows. There was no arch at all. I also received a manicure with gel nail polish. The gel polish started peeling three days later. I gave this place a 3 because the pedicure was good. The regular polish lasted well over 4 weeks. read more

After reading the great reviews, I was excited to try Hollies Nails. Hands down (no pun intended) the worst manicure I've ever had. Which is so disappointing since this salon is walking distance from my house. The nail technician ripped my cuticles to shred, I was bleeding on five fingers by the time she finished. On to the manicure - I got a gel manicure in light pink. The manicurist had no clue what she was doing. She kept leaving bubbles as she painted and getting hair/dust stuck in the nail polish. My nails looked streaky and poorly painted. I'm pretty sure a 5 year old could have done a better job. She kept trying to fix it, because it was obvious how bad it was, but kept making every nail worse. I finally just asked her to put the top coat on there and let me go. I'll go to Hammond Nails and have them re-do it. TLDR: good prices, inexperienced nail techs. Good for a pedicure, but do NOT get a manicure here. read more

I have been going to this nail salon for over a year now and couldn't be happier. The owners and staff are great. Lilly who takes care of me is the best. She is always creative and helping me decide on a fun color and cool design. Plus their pricing is very fair. I can have a gel manicure and spa pedicure for lets than $50 bucks. They are large enough to fit a girls party or even have 2 children's spa/massage chairs. Very neat!! read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. I decided to try hollie's after reading the good reviews and the close proximity to my office. Arrived around 5pm and there were 2 other customers. Asked for a pedicure and was promptly seated in a spa chair. Water was okay temp but no one bothered to ask and no beverage was offered. I literally say there for 45 minutes. Went for the grand opening dry clean and found Hollies Nails there... Wow this place is huge and nice. I really enjoy and relax of having my gel menicure and winter delux pedicure. I love it. And it was nice that they give me $5 off for the current promotion they have $5 00f when I spend over $50 . The total is $55 and I paid only $50. All staffs are really nice and polite. I came to get my nail repaired. The man working on my ONE NAIL was so rude. In addition, I advised him that the nail was crooked and if he could file it down, he stated my finger was crooked. As if I cant see the nail going left. Lastly, he didn't charge me and told me to get out the chair for he had others to work on. It was 10am. Hollie's Nails opened about 2 months ago and I am impressed. Nail Salons are a dime a dozen along Roswell Road but the folks at Hollie's really strive to go the extra mile. The salon is bright and big with probably close to 12 pedicure spas (including an adorable little one for kids). They immediately offered me water on both of my visits there. And they have nice "extras" that they put into their regular pedicure. And, Nick, the owner, is really aware about speaking English in front of the customers. The whole staff is very friendly and efficient. This will be my new favorite "go to" nail salon on Roswell Road. read more

Love this place! First of all, it's huge. They have at least 12 pedicure chairs...they even have 2 peri chairs for kids. Second, they have good pricing. Third, they are so sweet and are friendly to talk to. I never get the feeling they are talking about me. Finally, quality work. My pedicures last so well as do my manicures. I'm so glad to have found this place. My only suggestion would be to increase their Essie polish selection. They don't have my usual which is the Essie staple Mademoiselle. read more
