Andriea is a rude and disrespectful person and she is ignorant. I made an appointment for Wednesday that I was not able to keep, however, I called in advance and changed my appointment today. When I showed up the receptionist was rude and slobby and acted as she had never had a job dealing with the public before. They claimed I had no appointment even though I had an appointment confirmation and was trying to show it to them on my phone. They sat in my face both of them arguing with me that I didn't have an appointment and refused to look at the proof that I did. They really have no business dealing with the public at all and they were both disgusting. So, I have been here numerous times and my experience is ok. Nothing spectacular, the aestheticians' abilities ranged from horrible to good until I started going to Marcia on Roswell Rd. She is Phenomenal!! She is not in a rush, she takes her time and does an amazing job. Usually go to the Kennesaw location & have great service but decided to try out the new towne lake location, since it's closer for me for a Brazilian before my WEDDING. The manager was the one who waxed me. She seemed to have an attitude from the beginning of the appointment. I had trimmed the day before and she stated I shouldn't have done that very rudely. When she was done it looked as if she barely waxed anything. I went into the other room where my friend was getting waxed. I told the lady doing my friends wax (Maddy) (who was very nice and understanding) what happened and showed her what it looked like. She was in shock that the manager had left all that hair on me and offered to re do my wax. So after ANOTHER painful wax and tweezing I was finally hair free. She said that I shouldn't have to pay since I had to go through all that and I agreed. Once we got to the front counter the two ladies were arguing, I mean yelling at each other in front of us. The manager would not give me my wax for free and they said she couldn't get in contact with Andrea. This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had. I've been coming to andreia for years now, and I have never had a worst experience than this time. I wasn't going to write a review and just let it go but as I relied on andreia's for my trip this weekend it's completely let me down. I went on a Thursday around 1 and the check in process was quick and there was no wait which was great. But as I was called by Antonia, I undressed and before I could undress completely she came in. This striked me as unusual because in all the countless times I've been here I have always been undressed before the aesthetician came in. After I continued to get undressed while she was getting the wax ready, I laid down and she asked if I have waxed before. There was minimal conversation which I didn't mind. Since I got a full body she started with my underarms and bikini. She applied the wax to my left underarm and then my right underarms but I did not appreciate how she got the residue wax strings all over me when she was moving the wax around my body. This entire process was pretty rough. When she got to my rear end she applied the wax about 6 times and I feel pretty annihilated at her sticking the soft wax. Not applying pressure or making sure if the wax was not cool enough, and continuing to wax made it seem like she was in a rush to hurry me out. I would say my pain tolerance is quite high but this time I felt like I could not breathe in between because she would apply the wax to multiple locations at once. As I walked out I was still sticky from the way and unsure of why there was powder on my shirt. At least with the rough experience you would expect she got all the hairs. But my boyfriend found patches and strips of hair that she completely missed. One time, they have even forgot to wax my left underarm, and upper lips. Not acceptable. On top of all this, this was not the first time an aesthetician said something condescending to me regarding my race or beauty standards. I had The best experience at this location with Mariam. when I entered her room she had wipes available which means a lot because I hate when I get a wax and they run out of the room and I have nothing to wipe the wax off with before I put my underwear on again . also I like to wipe before the waxing begins so that was a very good thing. She had a great bedside manner and she made me feel comfortable the whole way through she didn't rush the process but still finished in a timely manner. She paid attention to every detail I loved how she made sure that all the hair was gone if she saw a little hair she would get the tweezers to get it out. No shade but I've been coming to this location for four years in the experience has always been subpar but I continued to go because the price is within my budget . I loved that I was able to make an appointment online. You can choose your aesthetician when booking the appointment. I received a confirmation email right away and the appointment was set. Easy-peasy. The salon is right next to the Publix at the corner of Roswell Road and Abernathy. I ended up choosing Antonia as my aesthetician based on the positive feedback on Yelp. When I arrived, I got the feeling they were not busy with any customers just yet because I was ushered in right away. Daisy ended up being my aesthetician. She was very sweet, talkative and funny. She was very quick with the waxing portion as well as the tweezing. She did quite a bit of tweezing, which I'm not gonna lie, was unpleasant, but what can you do. Now you may wonder, how was it that I ended up getting Daisy? She was not available on the list of aestheticians when booking the appointment online. First she had the audacity to say "do you shave?" I responded "no" then she says "I forget you people hair is thick." Then this ignorant ass starts the process and says "I didn't get all the hair with the wax, you want me to pluck them out or leave it be" HELLO, you ignoramus it's called a Brazilian Wax, YES I want all the hair removed.
