The young associate manning the front desk today was on her phone and didn't acknowledge us until my husband walked right up to the desk to buy tickets. She said tour didn't start until til 3 (it was ten minutes til), so he assumed he had to wait to pay when she said nothing further. When it was three minutes past he decided to ask again and she exclaimed she was waiting on him (we had no idea what we were waiting for!). Anyway, the tour is great! It was very cool to see pieces from the tv show and Sadie's costumes from a few dances on DWTS. We laughed when we saw the carved wooden statue of Willie (remembering the episode and how it went down!). At the end of the tour it has a few plaques writing about the new movie "The Blind" that came out last month. We got a Duck Picker duck call (for mallard hens) with our paid tickets and it can be taken apart to clean after blowing on it time and time again. Super neat to actually hear it in person instead of just on tv :)

No, I know why they "forgot" to do the paperwork. It's because of people being upset, to put it nicely, that they didn't get the commission off the order that they peer pressured a customer into buying. I'm a California resident trying to buy a couch for my elderly dad who is a Louisiana resident, is 88, has had surgery recently, is battling cancer, and was living in deplorable living conditions. I went through all the security hoops to verify my identity, jumped through every possible hoop, and still couldn't get my order processed. I spoke to TWO Walmart agents, explained the situation in detail -- that I was urgently trying to help my dad get new furniture and a decent living environment -- but they couldn't care less. One agent even assured me the issue was fixed, only for the order to be canceled again. I escalated my concerns, got promises of help, but nothing ever came. No callbacks, no follow-up, no accountability. Frustrated and fed up, I had no choice but to buy the same couch elsewhere -- and paid four times what I would have at Walmart. That's right, Walmart's incompetence cost me a fortune and would have left my dad in the same sorry state. Walmart's unprofessional conduct, lack of communication, and complete disregard for customer needs are beyond disappointing. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere -- you'll save time, money, and your sanity. Disappointed and Done with Walmart.
