LOVE LOVE LOVE Haliburton Salvage…read more This is one of our favorite places to go to find fabulous high end unique New Windows, New Doors, Architecture Salvage, construction materials/building materials etc., We have purchased so many things over the last few years for all 3 of our cottages. We purchased a New very large Window for the dining room/sitting room area of cottage #1 here. It lets in just the right amount of light & is perfect for sittin a chair next to it to read & view the Gorgeous rolling hills of North Texas wine country. Fabulous. We also purchased a New craftsman style Anderson solid OAK inside, aluminum outside window for the guest room of cottage #1 that is stunningly beautiful. My absolute favorite window I purchased here is the speciality giant 48x72 Horizontal sliding (side to side) "cottage style window" that was installed in the master suite of Cottage #1 (in front of the clawfoot tub) so you can view the sunset over rolling hills of the North Texas wine country from the bath in the evening. Just lovely. We even installed solid wood Horizontal sliding (side to side) "shutters" inside to close off the "cottage style window" for privacy. I custom made those. I also purchased 4 sets of 14 light French doors that went into cottage #1, 2 in cottage #2 and 4th set will go into cottage #3 we are just breaking ground on, so they will all match. We have found so many building materials here also that we have used. It's good to keep checking as inventory comes in all the time. If you are looking for a certain size window or door, you can call them to check to see they have it in stock. They also have a 2nd location, you can ask them to check that location as well if you do not mind driving there to pick it up. We custom build. And this is our #1 place we enjoy going. The store specializes in gorgeous antique furniture, light fixtures and lots of great art by Atkinson Fox. The furniture was in stunning condition. I saw some really beautiful pieces there including a 1930's "waterfall" china cabinet, a bedroom set, and some great couches and chairs. There was also some really unique lighting fixtures including table and floor lamps and chandelier/hanging types. There is a selection of genuine vintage clothing, jewelry and hats as well. The jewelry was in great condition and truly vintage/art deco (1920's+), which can be pretty hard to find at antique stores. There was a wide selection of artwork in original frames by Atkinson Fox, which were straight out of a dream. The owner Allen took time to go over some of the pieces and the art. He is a gem himself! Very knowledgeable and kind. A really great place to get antique furniture that is in great condition and priced to sell! Highly recommend stopping by. I bought my Ferris mower at Sam's last year on a 0% interest program and I paid full sticker. The…read moreowner sold me the unit but told me there was a $500 processing fee to do the 0% program at signing. I did disregard the comment and signed up. Thats on me, my mistake. my real complaint is trying to buy mulching kit with a chute block off for three weeks from these people who kept promising me. They were going to send me pictures and pricing and nothing ever evolved from it. It was like they didn't really give a crud. so I found another dealer in Gainesville same thing called for two days. No one called me back finally got a hold of the owner and his parts guy finally called me back after three times and nothing nothing ever transpired. I'm not sure what's going on with these businesses, I guess they're making way too much money. They don't need to sell a $400 mulching kit for their mowers so I made mine and I can guarantee you. It's 1000 times better than a crap they're trying to sell Me. I would stay far away from Sam's lawn riders and if I needed a Scagg or an echo product, I would go to Flanigan's or I'd buy a bad boy from the guy out close to Van Alstyne off of 160.
