I didn't have heat for 2 1/2 months during this past winter which was the worse in 5 years. Management couldn't care less, I asked for compensation, they told me that it was repaired in a timely manner, which was 2 weeks after my last call to complain when they posted that the unit was going to be on back order for another 6 weeks in addition to the 2 months that I had already waited for the repair. Communication is very lacking! They forced me into paying for Xfinity, even though I already had Verizon Fios and wasn't given an option, they add the cost to your rent. Laundry rooms always smell like urine, electric cords for washers are laying in puddles of water behind the machines. Walkways had snow and ice for weeks before getting cleared, couldn't safely walk my dog this past winter without slipping on the ice. Every chance they get, they will tack something else onto your rent, mid lease, no warnings. Floors creak with every step the upstairs neighbor walks around. Community rules don't apply to all residents, some were allowed to use grills, while the majority of residents are not allowed, management could care less when it was brought to their attention. Some residents use their patios as storage making the community look trashy, maintenance doesn't empty trash cans around the complex walking areas unless you put in a request for them to empty it when they smell of dog feces and trash. The dog park is full of ruts and holes from other residents allowing their pets to dig, it's unsafe for people and pets. You're better off spending $2000 rent elsewhere with better amenities and management that cares. I don't recommend the crossings if you're an older adult downsizing or for families.

The community is picturesque; lawns and all lots and common grounds well groomed and maintained. There are numerous types of trees in and around the community that only add to the "country" like environment. Cedars, naturally, firs, Blue spruce, red and pin oak, red maples and more.
