On 12/17/24 at 6:30 am, on my way to the hospital, I stopped for cigs. Simmons has cool gadgets that I usually purchase for my sons. I was looking at each flashlight to make sure they worked. An employee approached from behind and accused me of shoplifting! She was rude and loud. I opened my purse for her to see that I took nothing, yet she insisted that I did b/c I had dropped 2 flashlights on the floor! The lady behind the counter, "verified" her account; but the cashier didn't say a word, just told me if I bought the flashlights and cigs, I could go. I asked for a website, phone #, address, or social media page, and the 2 ladies said they didn't have one!! I told them to check their camera footage, and they will see that they were wrong! I'm a 61 year-old retired Teacher and Library Media Specialist. I've never stolen even a library book! The loud and rude employees embarrassed and humiliated me to anger and tears! I will not go back. Losing one customer won't make a difference, but maybe others should be aware.

If you can afford to wait just a little bit longer to exit 12 (where Route 58 will take you to Norfolk and Virginia Beach), you might save another few cents as there are more stations there. But if you do need gas now, then this station gets the job done with reasonably spaced pumps and receipt printers that work. A-OK.
