There are also a few tables out in the front to sit at after getting your custard / ice cream. The inside of the shop is small and can get very packed and busy in side. They have a freezer selection that is stocked with flavors of the day or different types of custards depending on availability. Near the register there is also another freezer that has the ice cream sandwiches and other treats. I like Whit's because they do a rotating flavor of the day, a flavor of the week, and flavor of the month. They have a calendar of flavors on their website and socials. (i.e. Facebook or Insta) The menu is pretty expansive offering sundaes, to whitsers, and other such creations. The real star of the show is the custard. It is very creamy and pretty sweet. It is definitely one of my favorite ice cream shops in the Triangle. I haven't had any bad experiences coming here per say but sometimes the young cashiers at the front can seem a bit ignorant and stare you down when it comes to tipping. Outside of that, a good experience and good custard.
