This was our first time dining at Hollys. The place was packed so I assumed the food would be good and we were not disappointed. Everything was on point which exceeded my expectations just based on the high volume of customers. We shared the southwest egg rolls as an app. We also ordered the Drunken Irishman (best corned beef sandwich ever!), chicken quesadilla, Turkey Reuben, Spicy Pepperjack burger as entrees. All of us raved about our meals. The kettle chips are delicious and probably made in house based on their freshness. Our server was friendly and efficient. We got our drinks promptly and our orders all came out hot and ready at the same time. The restaurant was a lively sports bar. The baseball games were playing on big flatscreen tvs. Unlike most bar and grill, it wasn't dark inside, it was brighter inside. They also had outdoor patio seating. Overall, we had an excellent experience, especially given how busy the dining room was for Father's Day. While my husband and I don't live in the area, my parents are local and will definitely be back! Great food and service! read more

Great atmosphere, food and drinks! Burgers, and daily specials are worth a try! Also the apps are all good!

First time visit. Went with the black and blue burger specifically because they said they had a homemade blue cheese dressing. 1/3 pound burger looks kind of small. I pulled the bun off and was definitely disappointed in the blue cheese dressing. I saw zero chunks of blue cheese, which was surprising for "Homemade " And it basically just looked like a watered down sauce out if a bottle with zero flavor. I had to ask for a side of blue cheese dressing to pour on it to make it palatable. Onion rings are OK nothing special, perhaps a dipping sauce would have made them a little more exciting. Wife got the Reuben, which actually looks pretty good and she liked it. All in all, I was not impressed at all. Happy for them that they were super full on a Saturday evening, but it was extremely loud in the place. I'll give them another try as I don't want a base one experience and never go back. read more

Holly's is a great place to get a burger and great casual dining. The prices are reasonable and the food is very good! It's a very inviting restaurant/bar! Lots of beers available, too. I have been there several times for lunch and dinner. The meals are fantastic and I've never had a bad meal. There was a walleye special a couple months ago. It was the best walleye meal I have ever had in my LIFE. I've been to lots of restaurants for Walleye, and I've been to lots of other restaurants and this walleye was fresh and fabulous! And, to top it off, the service is wonderful! So if you were thinking of trying Holly's, do it! You will not be disappointed! read more

First I must say our waitress was great. But the food was a HUGE disappointment. We ordered the daily special Hot Beef sandwich with mashed potatoes. The food wasn't even warm when it came out. The waitress did take it back. In about 2 minutes later, brought out our same plates.(I assume it was microwaved). The bread was so tough the knife didn't cut threw it. Now the beef. . I have never tasted anything so gross. Chewy, stringy, looked like dog food to us. Waitress never came back to ask how it was, we tried to at least eat some of it. Ended up bringing it home for our Dog. The mashed potatoes were sorta good. If I had wanted microwave warmed up food, I would have stayed home. read more

Food selection is at best bad bar food, The beer is cold and if you want to talk to anyone the noise level is insane,, such a shame because it's a great location,,, gave it three tries and we said uncle!!! read more

Very chilly inside. Bartender not very attentive. Sat for 10 minutes without a single hello or I'll be right with you. Staff seems to change a lot. Food is OK. Pricey for what you get. Fish for 17.99 is pricey and they need to add other dinner entree options.Will return for drinks only. read more

Food was okay but will not go back. Service was super slow from our waitress. she asked if we were ready for our bill 15 minutes later after giving us to go containers. We had to ask another waitress where we go to pay since she never came back to take our money. Owners/managers were too busy with socializing with their own friends to go around and welcome everyone, ( rubbing elbows with other owners of places in Saginaw) One gentlemen just about had his butt right near our table trying to find tv station for a friend, he acted like we didn't exist. I thought we would give Holly's a try, my wife had the southwest rolls, I had the rubin and added onion rings (+2.00) they were good just wish I would have gotten more than 4, yes FOUR onion rings for $2.00 very disappointing. After looking around I see the better deal was the fries looks like you got 6 - 8 fries (+$1.75). As for the southwest rolls a bit over cooked and the rubin it was good, but nothing special. The atmosphere and service was great. We will return, but only for drinks as the food needs improvement. read more
