THIS IS A HORRIBLE DOG SALON!!, not only was she very rude she also cut my dog. He has razor burn under his stomach. She groomed him in an area he just had surgery in. She was very aware of this and continued to groom him in this area anyway. I WILL NEVER TAKE MY DOG HERE AGAIN!!!! I definitely wouldn't recommend taking your dog here either unless you want to go to a vet afterwards. read more

THEY CUT MY DOG. I have a friendly 6.2lb chihuahua who I took here to get a trim. They said it will take 2-4 hours although I made my appointment weeks before. They would not let me stay although they have a waiting area and were being rude about me wanting to stay as if it offended them. They only took about an hour for me to come and pick her up so why would they tell me 2-4 hours? I noticed my dog was irritated and crying licking her private area after the appointment. I looked at her and she had been cut. I called and she blamed it on irritation from the "safe razor" that they use in that area. All she did was ask if I'd like to put it on my record not to use the "safe razor" in that area and different creams to use. I did not get a refund nor did she seem to care. They did not ask me for pictures of it. They need some readjusting and better training. I don't recommend bringing your pet here as they might end up needing to go to the vet after. They barely trimmed her hair to begin with but that is the least of my worries. The absolute worst experience I will ever have at a dog salon, everyone please be careful with who you give your fur babies to! read more

Addressing Adrianne: I can see how much you care based upon your quick response. This post was made almost two weeks ago and you want to reply to it now? I also loved the fact that our dog was left in a cage at your facility for 5+ hours without food, water or access to the bathroom. As soon as I got him outside, he went to the bathroom immediately and as soon as he got home he drank a whole bowl of water. This certainly shows how much you care for animals. Oh, and also you cant seem to address this personally? You had one of your lackeys message me to try to resolve the issue, which was never resolved. Pretty convenient that a dog that never had his anal glands expressed or any problems with them whatsoever develops an abcess after a visit to Hollywood dog salon. This has never happened before, with a vet or a groomer. So, please forgive me if i am "bad mouthing" your family business... but something here seems "fishy"! My dog was taken to the vet immediately after the incident, on January 7, 2013. I would be more than happy to share with you the $231.43 vet bill, let me know how I can get it to you. And the renewed interest in this issue: 1. You sent a handwritten note asking for comments (thought we would oblige) and 2. The dogs anal area is irritated yet again. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE! Owner was not professional. My dog came home with a big cut on her neck. She said it was because I walked in the store in the middle of her grooming my dog. If that were the case my dog would have been yelping in pain and she was not at that time. She's a liar and horrible to the dogs. I should have known when I first dropped off my dog and she shoved a dog she was grooming back into place and proceeded to say, "You're making my hands hurt!" Then when I walked in to check on my dog 2 hours after dropping her off she told me to never walk in when my dog is being groomed because they become more out of control than they already are. Then when I picked my dog up the owner told me my dog was cut because I walked in in the middle of her being groomed. She told me to not worry it was just a cut and wouldn't need a vets attention....just to keep an eye on it. However, she actually has a gash on her neck that proceeded to bleed hours after getting her home. I wish I could post a picture here bc it's so bad. It's hard to even look at. Now I have to plan an emergency vet visit for stitches. This was my first and last time going to this horrible place. I would never ever recommend taking any pet here. Avoid at all costs!! read more

we took our puppy to this place and Like the 1st person said, our puppy was put onto a cage for 4 1/2 hours without food or water or able to go to the bathroom. The owner said that the grooming would be about 1-2 hours, not 4 1/2 hours. When we got our puppy back she was not herself. The cut was also not good, uneven hairs all over. I would not tell my tell my worst enemy to go there. Believe me, I never write a review, but fell very strongly about this place. there are many good places to go for grooming, please do not take a chance on this place. Our yorkie Tank loves his visits to Hollywood Dog salon! He knows Adrienne's name and gets very excited when we tell him its time for his haircut. We lovingly refer to Adrienne as Auntie Adrienne, because she treats Tank like he is one of her own. We are long time customers from the owners previous salon. We drive 30 mins just to see her because we know she does such a consistently wonderful job! read more
