We recently moved to OKC from another state and we were worried that we wouldn't be able to find dog food that met our standard of quality that's necessary for our Great Danes' needs. We didn't want to buy from a big chain store as we had gotten used to all the perks of being regular customers at a store where the owner knew us. Enter Hollywood Feed. To our wonderful surprise, we were able to have a great experience here AND find everything we needed. High quality food and raw topper, plus organic treats and friendly service from the employee that we chatted with! She even took the time to tell us about local places where we could wash the dogs. We love that they do same day delivery and have a reward system. It feels good to know that there are places locally who care about the pets first and foremost and want people to have good shopping experiences while doing what they can to keep our fur babies healthy. For someone that tries to always do right by their pets, making them feel like they don't care about their pets because they are feeding their dogs royal canine (which was recommended by our vet) and not a brand we've never even heard of, is a poor way to educate someone into choosing what is best for their pets. I stopped in maybe last week because i heard of this place from a few people including a customer i had served with a service pet... it was close by and i was in need of cat litter and a treat for my pup. They had the exact litter i needed and the girl working was very friendly and informative, it made my stop very quick, in and out, which was great considering my social anxiety that day but i will be back to see what else the company offers. read more

We had always fed our dogs Iams from the grocery store. Our elderly dog started having stomach issues so I decided to stop in and see if they had suggestions. They helped me find just the right food for him. The price wasn't crazy high like I was afraid it would be. Our dog loved the food and got lots better. They also recommended Tracheas for treats. Cash loves them We get him the smaller cut ones since he is older and has some difficulty chewing. The staff was awesome and I will certainly be back when we need more food for our fur baby. read more

We have three dogs and I had never been in the store until this past weekend for their annual Christmas open house event with Santa. This pet store Has to be one of the most charming welcoming places for fur babies. They have just about every kind of healthy organic dog food you could ever imagine made for any pets life style or health issue. So many cute comfy plush beds for your pups or if you're wanting toys they have an entire wall display of them. They even had freshly baked treats for your pup for special occasions birthday etc. I loved that they even had some home accessories items on the end caps such as dog Christmas ornaments, travel bags, dish towels or even little signs to display within your home. Every employee greeted me with a smile and this was just the best local best store I've been in a long time! I can't wait to support this charming local store. Thank you! read more

I happened to stumble across this cute little store over the weekend. It looked like they were having an English bulldog meet and greet in there and they were adorable. The store may be small but it was very well stocked. They mostly gave pet food you wouldn't find in the big chain stores which is nice. The owner, I think his name was Mike, was very nice and helpful, and let me know the different types of food he had and made suggestions for my dog, a chihuahua mix who I had with me. I got my little one some treats and something for her joints since she is getting older. Mike even gave my grumpy girl a treat which she seemed to love. She seems to like everything I got her so far. All in all, I would definitely recommend this store to friends and I don't mind making a drive up there again. read more

Hollywood Feed has become my new favorite place to shop, and my dog Maui loves this place too! I like to let him look at the different options of toys and treats to let him pick - and there is quite an assortment! I first came in my 2nd month of owning my 90 lb Great Pyrenees/Border Collie and the owners were in and gave me a very warm welcome. We felt right at home. They helped me decide what food that I would have my beloved on. I decided to go with Fromm's after the salesman was so kind to talk about dog food with me for probably half an hour. They even gave Maui a couple of treats! If you don't like something you can return it and replace AND they donate the item to a local dog shelter. I love this because I did purchase a ball for him and he doesn't really care for it. Additionally, after your 12th bag, you get one free! They do carry 2 local dog/pet magazines. I decided to go with 4 stars because the last 3 times I've been in, the saleswoman just did NOT seem like she wanted to be there and I felt like I was intruding. They are pricey, I spend $45/bag of food and need one every 6 weeks. But, don't you, Yelper, spend more than that on your food? I want a good food for my pup. Very limited cat food , all containing Fish. Spoke with clerk who was unaware that cat food should Not contain fish products. Cat owner for half century and have been told no fish in food by multiple vets. read more

Bad service, my wife was basically laughed at for not knowing the answer to a question she asked TWO of the workers that are currently working. That's kinda why she asked politely. Because it's your job to inform the customers of things. That's unbelievably stupid if you ask me. Customer service is a simple thing and if you can't even preform that you shouldn't be allowed in a store to be interviewed. Anyways this place has only cat and dog food. Apparently FEED doesn't refer to all animals. Hire nicer people. This was just 10 minutes or so ago so whoever is working march 16th at 1 pm, stop being stupid and rude. read more

I absolutely love this store and every other Hollywood Feed I've been to. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Hollywood Feed has high quality products, cute accessories for fur babies and their parents, and they run specials all the time. The food I buy will sometimes come with a free bag of treats and every 13th bag is free which is great when you have to get a big bag twice a month! I can't say enough great things about this place. Come here for excellent customer service and a variety of things you won't find at a chain pet store. They are also very knowledgeable and helpful in finding whatever you are looking for and carry a huge selection of quality dog items. Great store; staff welcome customers and devote as much time as needed to help you, educate you on foods and toys AND best prices in OKC or will price match.
