I never had an issue with a Petco location until my dog was sent to this one. My dad had been…read moretaking my dog there multiple times, but he calls to set up an appointment and the girl on the phone tells him that she can no longer be seen there. That's so ridiculous. They said that she is "too old". Maybe they should instead train their staff in how to handle older dogs instead of just sending them away..luckily there are other grooming places that have the expertise to adequately groom dogs.

I am irritated that I have to give this review 1 star…read more.... I made an appointment online for my Maltese to be groomed. I had a 2:15 appointment on 7/17/2021. From the time we arrived it seemed like Ashley (the groomer) didn't want to work today. The 1st issue was his rabies vac...he has a rabies tag that is stamped 2021 yet Ashley made me go through the motions of downloading the paperwork. The tag clearly says 2021 there is NO WAY the tag was expired as rabies vacs last 1 year...but OK...so after downloading the paperwork and showing her the effective date we finally move to how I want him cut. I explained that he had a matted spot on his chest and that I wanted him short but hopefully not scalped. Ashley then used the matted area as the reason she could not cut him. She literally told me a VET would have to cut the matted area and that she found one on his front paw. I am not sure what she did to that area on his front paw but my fur baby was in my arms and NEVER growls at anyone while I'm holding him and he started growling at her as if she was pulling the matted area. At that point I decided it wasn't worth the energy or the effort to keep going back and forth with Ashley about the cut. We left and I called multiple vets only to be told VETs DO NOT GROOM ANIMALS. So the whole story of a vet had to groom him was BS. I wasted my time, rearranged my day and my gas to travel 30+ minutes for this appointment only for it to fail because Ashley didn't want to work today. Even worse, I called PetSmart, explained how Petco refused to cut him due to the matted spots and after a brief hold while the agent spoke to the head groomer, my fur baby was granted an appointment for tomorrow with the head groomer. No bogus story of a VET having to cut him or him needing special handling. That being said, I will NOT recommend this Petco location, nor would I recommend the groomer Ashley. To add insult to injury, I STILL went to the Petco in Peachtree City to get an item that Petco doesn't carry which makes the trip to Petco an even more waste of time.

I had her Google it because she made it sound like I didn't know what I was inquiring about. I would have expected a more experienced employee would be answering the phone.

Tractor Supply is basically a chain "Seed and Feed" store, you can find food for almost all of your…read moreanimal pals here. From your usual cat & dog food to chicken, horse, goat & hamster feed. They have chicken coops, pen supplies, medicine for your animals and pretty much anything you'd need for your garden. In the spring they even have chicks for sale. If you are just here to browse on your own or grab something quick, your visit will usually go smoothly. If you are ever in need of assistance by a team member, that's where things get sketchy. Do you need a heavy item brought to the front? Expect an hour wait. Do you have a question about their products or need help finding something? Good luck finding an associate to ask, you'll need even more luck finding one that actually knows anything about farming. Are you in line at the customer service counter? Just go up front and tell a cashier you need assistance, no one will pass you by for days at the CS counter. I've personally assisted more than a few elderly woman with heavy stuff, not only inside the store but as they were trying to get it inside their car because there was no one else around to help. I've tried other Tractor Supply locations and I know this is not the norm, the Fayetteville location has some of the friendliest associates around. When I need actual assistance, like buying a new coop, I've learned to just go there instead.
