I have been going there for the past year for my dogs grooming. They went in January and the groomer totally chopped up my yorkies hair. She apologized and the manager would only allow her to give 10% off, which is nothing, add tax and still at the same price. I agreed to give her another chance, the store had $20 off coupons that were sent out , good until 4/5 but you couldn't get an appointment so I made it before the coupon expired but they still would not allow the discount after being g a loyal customer for years. Now I'm done and they keep their lousy 20 dollar coupon and everything else. I will be ordering my dogs food directly from Hills, don't need you PetSmart read more

I've always loved this PetSmart. Today my two pets got groomed by Misty E and Alisa K. They always take great care of them. I have a shitzu and a Yorkie-poo. Both are small and cute. :-) The store is always clean and many things to choose from for your pets. I have over 30,000 points, so I got one of my dogs a new harness. The level of service that you get depends on the groomer. I have had very attentive groomers who handle my pet gently and thoroughly, but then I've also had some that seemed to rush through a nail grinding job. Their routine is to have you leave your dog then you go pay and once you return, the dog is done, which makes me think they rushed through the job. My dog is always been ready once I returned within five minutes or so. read more

We live in California but had to rush to Georgia due to a family issue. We ended up staying for two weeks, during which time my toy poodle had a grooming appointment back in California. She was already overgrown, and it was Memorial Day weekend, so I didn't think I'd be able to make a grooming appointment because it takes at least 90 days to get into a new groomer at home. Thankfully PetSmart has online grooming appointments so I could search for openings without playing the telephone game. I'm so thrilled the stars aligned and we met Misty who had an opening during our time in Georgia. She greeted us promptly, was very professional, and did an excellent job with our 14-year-old toy poodle. Her feet, face, and fanny were all neatly trimmed, and the rest of her was thoroughly groomed to poodle poofiness. Misty even gave her the poodle topknot. Misty would be my regular groomer if I lived near Peachtree City.  She's the gold standard for a groomer!! read more

My first time with my new puppy at this grooming salon. We normally do the Fayette petsmart with my previous dog. The groomers here today, had attitudes, over booked several dogs for the same time slot while it only being 2/3 staff at that time. I was told my dog when I booked my app, my dog wouldn't be walked on the ground since he's only 12 weeks and could be dangerous for him since he hasn't had his shots. but they refused to hold him and told me once I got here, he had to walk on the floor. Woefully underimpressed to find my experience is beginning to mirror others. Made an appt. weeks in advance on a dog that had been there previously and the 'cheerful' agent on the other end of the phone never relayed to me any notes that were in the dog's record. Additionally, these are discussions and counseling that could have been had in advance of the appt. Between 5 and 8 minutes before the appt. was due to begin, the staff sent an EMAIL, when I was likely enroute or already in the store, canceling my appointment. When I arrived, after having taken a day off work to accommodate this service, I stuck my head in to let the staff know I had arrived. I had already seen the 14 dozen signs advising that only one customer/dog was permitted in the area at a time. A very non-customer service oriented lady simply reiterates the sign and indicates I should 'wait outside'. Well. No greeting, no "I'll be with you", no designation of whether outside was just outside the door or in the parking lot as these are COVID times. No acknowledgment that I had arrived and there was a problem and no attempt made to address it. I waited nearly an hour, expecting to at least be addressed. Even if the groom staff forgot they told me to 'wait outside', the vet staff saw me on a number of occasions as they tended to pets for that service and not one saw fit to find out why a customer with a dog had been sitting near the grooming door for nearly an hour. Apparently, the two departments allegedly communicate, as the manager implied when I reached her by phone. Great, stupendous, amazing customer service PetSmart. The staff had seen the dog on previous occasions, and no one had ever related any but joyful interactions with her. This deceiptful, devious, inconsiderate business practice is abominable and one hopes the staff regards the animals better than they do the humans. read more

Mackenzie at the Banfield Pet Hospital removed a flea from my baby's belly with a pair of metal tweezers and he was so happy afterwards! I could tell he was incredibly uncomfortable. She did it free of charge! In addition, I bought the the Seresto flea collar for $57.99 (same price as Petco and Walmart). Will come back as needed!! read more

After taking our various small poodles here for grooming over the past 15 YEARS, suddenly we hav been "dumped". The young groomers in this salon refuse to groom our two small poodles. We had an excellent groomer there for the past year. She groomed BOTH our poodles between 12:30 and 3:30p. (As did another groomer there the year before). Dogs looked great and even had special bows beside each ear. It was wonderful and they had no problem with our dogs. I always tip our groomers too. The recent groomer suddenly quit. We received a text stating both our dogs' appointments "Have been cancelled." I called the salon and asked for a new appointment with any other groomer available. Young man answered the phone and told me "No one here 'feels comfortable grooming your dogs." WHAT? After 15 years of coming here? I asked WHY? Guy said because our 6 lb poodle's tongue "hangs out due to no teeth." Told me "It's a a safety issue." I said that I would trim her face myself and they could do the rest. No. Then I asked about our 15 lb poodle. She doesn't have any problems. Same BS answer repeated, "None of our groomers feel comfortable"...yada, yada. Then he said I could go to different Petsmart stores miles away with terrible traffic. (One of which I have heard that their groomers ABUSE the dogs)! Unbelievable. I told him I cannot do that. Keep in mind the groomers they hire at Petsmart are the bottom of the barrel youngest groomers. They can't handle simple jobs. Totally ridiculous. They used to have older women groomers who were efficient and friendly. Not any more. Doesn't pay to complain to the young store manager man either. They are useless and do nothing, same as their corporate offices. A very poorly run, sad operation from the top management down.. FIND A BETTER GROOMING SALON THAN THIS ONE! read more

I have been to this Persmart before and had the same person groom my dog. This time i had to go with someone else. Never again! I got there early and watched from the window. She roughly pushed my dogs head and was roughly yanking on her as she brushed her. i have watched other groomers with her and never have I seen that before! I will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN! read more

I've been a frequent shopper at Petsmart since I got my dogs a few years ago, but recently I purchased some wet food that was on sale here and opened it up to find them all covered in mold. I returned them all to the store the same night for a refund. Although I am happy to have my money back, it's upsetting because the workers and management didn't seem to care much about the situation and hardly offered any apologies. The grooming employees need some customer service training. They were rude over the phone when making an appointment. I figured I would still give them an opportunity. We bought some Tetra Pond Water Clarifier for our koi pond from this Pet Smart. Followed directions exactly and it killed all the fish in two hours. Pet Smart's response...Gee, sorry. They didn't pull this product off the shelf or even replace the fish that we bought there months ago. I will not be shopping there anymore...ever. read more

I was asked for my pets name, when I told the intake worker she immediately told me I had to reschedule because I was late, I asked her to double check the time, of course they were wrong I was 20 minutes early. No apology! Then she immediately told me my dog had to be shaved with out even looking him over! I would have been more open to what she was saying if her tone wasn't so nasty! In fact my dog felt her bad spirit and starting whining! The last two appointments there were fine, don't know where the found that particular employee , but she make the department look really bad! My only complaint is (not even sure if this is a legit complaint) that the kitty cats are behind plastic, not in regular cages, so I can't squeeze my fingers through and love on them (which I do like a crazy cat lady at the Newnan location). read more

Poor management and Customer Service. I made an appointment on line for my German Shepherd who has anxiety with car rides. For some reason the sight allowed me to make an appointment during non-grooming hours. This was extremely upsetting, since I had to take my fur baby home and back out again. They were not at all apologetic -- and I just found out when trying to book another appointment that I was red flagged! Best Black Friday shopping experience ever! Despite the traffic jam getting into the parking lot, the staff at this PetSmart was awesome! First visit of the day, brought my two girls (4 and 7) to look at bearded dragons as a gift for their cousin. Johanna was extremely knowledgeable. So much so, that my girls actually ended up wanting to buy the lizards!!! Had to make a second trip later in the day, at which point Ashyton and Nikki helped me select the bearded dragon, the proper terrarium equipment and food supplies. Upon check out, Allison was very courteous and Tony (manager) assisted me with a price correction, as well as helping me bring out the forty gallon terrarium I had just purchased. They were super nice, terrific customer service especially for a day when stores are packed!!! read more

Been here a few times and had no problem until now... the store manager calls to tell me my puppy is ready for pick up and that she can never come back! She said she nipped at the groomer, no skin broken ( which she told me she bit the groomer until I called back and spoke to the groomer myself) and she growled at the other dogs...yes that was it... She was dismissive and her tone was rude. When I asked if there was any other option she just said "no she can't never come back". She's a year old she could've suggested I bring her back next year or maybe with someone, or a mussel, but her rudeness was just shocking to me. I heard that bigger dogs are discouraged from Petsmart... Totally unacceptable! I was giving Petsmart the benefit of the doubt because I always hear bad things...Well I won't be shopping here anymore if my pup is not welcome, at least not in Peachtree City, Ga. Today I was in and there was someone in the department but working with another customer she did not acknowledge me at all. I went to the register to ask for assistance so she called jasmine to the department and no one came so I just walked out.
