So the place is cute, the pedicure chairs are comfortable, and the people seem very nice. However, the quality of work is atrocious. This is by far the worst pedicure I have ever had in my entire life. Not only do they not scrape off the dead skin on the bottom of your feet, there is no massage at all, she filed my old gel off of my toenails so far down that she went through my actual nails into the skin and then applied gel polish over the top to my nail/skin and put my toes under the curing light, which burned beyond comprehension. Apart from the painful curing, there were divots left in the nail polish on seven out of 10 toenails which were in perfect condition before I came in. This is going to be a real fun regrowing process from all of the damage that was just done. 10 out of 10 would sadly/painfully not recommend. read more

While getting a pedicure this week with my sister and mother in law we were told they could do us all right then. They didn't, one person started on me while the other two sat there with nothing until I was almost done. The woman working on my feet had JUST CLIPPED ALL MY TOE CUTICLES, then I watched her without changing gloves, put her hand into the woman's next to mes foot soak. Then tried to come back to me. They were in a big hurry. No wax used. Next to no leg/foot scrub. My massager didn't work at all and My heels felt tore apart and not soft at all. Way too much money for the unsanitary service we received. Never going back. I'd give zero stars if possible. read more

I went to Hollywood nails today for a pedicure, expecting to see Kenny and Vivian. I was surprised to learn they have decided to sell and move to Seattle! But the new owner, Lee, is just as awesome. I told him I wanted a pedicure and he had his associate, Sung, help me out. Sung did a wonderful job. As I sat down, I was handed a glass of sparkling cider, YUM! I requested the callous remover and Sung went to great lengths to make sure he got my feet as smooth as possible. I ended up getting a manicure also because I was so pleased with them. Lee and Sung both engaged in conversation with me and the other lady that was getting her nails done. I will definitely be returning! read more

This address is now 1430 21st st. And I would NOT recommend going here. Over priced and they do a terrible job. They even refused to wax my eyebrows because I am from out of town. The only reason they are still in business is because they are the only Asian owned salon in this town and have no competition. Worst pedicure ever! Refused to even wax my eyebrows. Never go here. I was visiting from out of state and and had a "nail emergency". I called their salon and the sweet gal got me in right away and fixed my nail. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. I was very impressed and grateful for how nice they were and how quick she was able to help me. read more

On the positive side, this place is really cute inside, the chairs are comfy, there are a lot of pretty colors from which to choose, and the owner and his wife are nice. They offer gel manicures, but they are expensive and they charge an extra $5 to remove the gel. In my experience, the services are way too expensive for what you get. I was very underwhelmed. I blinked and my massage was over. Perhaps this is because there are only the two of them providing services as the customers piled up. Turn and burn service should be much cheaper. There was water and tea, but none was offered. Also, they don't accept credit cards. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

When I went in there was no menu board stating the price of services. I asked the price for a pedicure and I was quoted $17.00. I repeated the price and they confirmed. After the pedicure was finished, he told me I owed $32. Since there was nobody else in there to have heard our earlier conversation I had no choice but to pay the $32. Very dishonest!! I had a pedicure. Very nice staff. Facility is clean and a little funky in decor. My cuticles were almost ignored but the bottoms of my feet were scrubbed soft. My biggest complaint was the price. $32 for an average pedicure (no paraffin wax) seems very high. For that price I don't think I would go again. read more

My sister (who is 9 months pregnant) and I went for pedicures the day after she was due. We called ahead for appointments and were to be there in an hour. We arrived and there were three women in the process of pedicures. They filled the water bowls and sat us in these odd shaped urinal~like chairs. The massage function in my chair was broken and the jets in my bowl were broken and made loud noises...they "fixed" it and told me to sit still and not to move. We sat in the chairs that were quite uncomfortable for 30 minutes before our pedicures started. He applied callous remover to my feet with a block for about five seconds...which didn't do anything to remove the old skin...the massage lasted less than a minute and I barley remember them exfoliating my feet...we sat for a time before they painted our toenails. My sister's pedicure procedure was exactly as terrible...except her toenail Polish has a big blob in it and they missed the corner of her toenail...oh and also our toenails are VERY short. Any shorter and we might have been bleeding. I have pedicures all over the country and this was the worst one ever...they didn't earn my $32.00...I almost didn't pay them...I am from Orofino, Idaho...so don't think I am just picky because I live in California.... read more

So we went to Idaho to see my Grand daughters and spoil them a bit. Drove by and the place looks legit! so we check it out and they said they could take care of all 4 of us. 2 adults and 2 children, 10 and 7. My Lady wanted to get a pedi and mani, with gels, and of course we all 4 wanted Pedi's. what a disappointment... they accepted a party of 4 when not finished with us, they are nice people but they use their 9 year old daughter as a slave! they slam us through the pedi process, and send my Lady to the mani chair, while they procede with 4 other Pedi's (over an hour) while she sat there she stripped the old gel, and shaped her nails herself, and the guy had the nerve to charge her for a full manicure. This place is WAY OVERPRICED for the service you get... All in all, it took us over 2-1/2 hours to get the crappiest $189 mani/Pedi's we have ever had!!! I would have given NO stars but the system requires at least one! DONT GO THERE!!! read more

I feel like cattle running thru the shoot for branding. The owners take too many people at one time. My feet soaked for exactly 3 minutes. That is not long enough to soak dry skin off your heels. He never cleaned under the toe nails and when he was done painting he did not bother to wipe off the excess polish on the skin. A friend and I had less than wonderful pedicures last week. Sloppy nail polish application (top coat dripping off two toes). Not great foot massages. Wondered about sanitation of tools. Unpleasantly strong odor of acrylic nails or polish remover or something. Overall pretty yucky. Won't be going back. read more

The place looks awesome, but the service was not. My nails were rushed, crooked, too much extra acrylic on the bottom, and overall ended up coming out Terrible! Also, started turning yellow after 2 days. I will not be going back! Plus they charge waaaayyyy toooo much! read more

The couple running the shop were very nice and cheerful. The shop is welcoming and has a nice atmosphere. BUT UGH! I would recommend going to one of the local cosmetology schools before going back here. Only 2 people running the shop, so they get over booked and don't give the service they should at a salon that charges $$ so much. I went in for a pedi and was seated in one of the cool Pedi chairs and sat there for about 10 minutes before the turned on the water, which was cold, when I ask for a little warmer they did put a little hot water in.. it was "ok" if I would have soaked for about 5 minutes but I was left for about 20 minutes.. my luke warm water got pretty darn cold :( I got lotion put on my legs and feet, which I think was considered the massage.. VERY DISSAPOINTED!!! (that is my favorite part and I missed it :( He did a nice time with my toe cuticles and the hot wax my feet soaked in was cool. But the nail polish was amateur and lumpy. So, I had soft, still sore, and not so pretty feet feet when I left after an 1 1/2 hours of being there.. and he touched my feet for about 15 minutes the WHOLE time.. the rest was soaking and waiting.
