If I could give zero stars in a honest opinion 100% I would choose that rating. I would not have reasons to write this review; state the facts that I had such a FOUL experience. Hopefully this will shed light showing the truth how much there are many aspects terribly wrong about this place. This salon seem like they were once in good business, then gradually started losing customers. Surprisedly I had a conversation today with one of the ladies (who mention how the business became slower in the last several months). I've made a few visit here to get my nails done, unfortunately unable to commute to my usual nail salon in South Philly. The past experience I wasn't entirely happy, it was more of an ok feeling but I've notice the customer service seem quite unprofessional. The work that was done ALWAYS seem rushed including uncomfortable filing on the nails. I was always left with scabs around my cuticles with poor results at the end. The poor results also included uneven nail length such as long and short lengths, some of the nails showed some thickness and some had very thin textures. It look terrible! my nails didn't even curve in nicely. Nina who did my nails (who is the manager) did a very poor job. I was surprised for the manager to be poorly skilled. I believe she intentionally ruined my nails, reasons why I state that because there were a few times; when I kindly requested for a changed then she became easily frustrated, response rudely then attempted to cut my skin. I honestly was shocked... Luckily, I kept a calm reaction instead of reacting in a dramatic way. I started to feel very upset at that moment (I mention to her how she was hurting my nails) then she reacted in very rude inappropriate manner. Afterwards, I've overheard her and her coworkers literally go on a rant, taunting me and swearing foul disrespectful indirect insults about me stating this comments right in front of me! It was unbelievable! I was becoming very upset but continue to stay in a clam manner. I've never experience such a upsetting low ignorant unprofessional performance with such people. I didn't understand the cause of her reaction, I was always polite and respectful. I assume the caused for Nina to act in unprofessional manner is from having bad experience or difficult time with other previous customers. Another thing as well, most importantly that made me feel VERY uncomfortable, I've noticed some of their tools look unsanitized. While Nina was filing my nails, I've noticed on the tools it look as if there were left over skin or blood that she possibly forgot to clean off from the previous client. I was concerned wether she cut the previous client's skin forgot to clean the tools afterwards or didn't care to sanitize it then later used the unsanitized tool to file my nails... Just remembering that moment makes me very uneasy and highly upset. I can't image the possibilities that could cause infections or some kind of bacteria built up or disease transferring form blood to blood the possibilities from having skin and blood left on the mental tool. It's insane to actually use these unsanitized filing on people's nail that could possibly affect other people in the long run. I really hope they improve on becoming more cleaner or insuspection comes around more than one or twice a year to evaluate the salon. read more

This time when I visit, I've noticed they changed the price chart into a lot smaller format than the previous chart. The new chart has a (dark violet background with black fonts for the prices) also the price chart has smaller fonts that looks VERY difficult to see from standing up close or from the distant. The previous chart was a lot larger with ( a white background with red letters that were way more easier to see). Today as I was standing up close trying read the prices, I've noticed the font size look as if it was between 20-24 size looking up against a 9-12ft wall. It was nearly impossible to see the prices! I didn't understand WHY make the font size look so small and diffcult for the customers to read?! That also gave me the thought explains why the prices seem unreasonable overall. Another issues that I believe the prices are overprice, for a full set Nina charged me $30 and my refills were $20 (without adding tip money) Previous salons I went too usually charged around $12-$15 for a refill and $20 for a full set. It seems very phony that it was double the price also the fact that they don't specifically tell the customers the cost of the manicure or pedicure without the customers asking for the price. On their other price charts it also seems vague only showing the price of the manicure and pedicure totals instead of breaking the prices for specific work. During my last visit, I've noticed other customers were also upset as well, complaining how the prices were overprice and did not always range according to the chart. The coworkers seem to deceive the customers with inconsisitent prices for certain manicures, pedicures etc also unreasonably charging a much more expensive value when customers request to make slight alterations in the manicure/pedicure work. It seems as if the workers start to make the prices inconsistent. One costumer I noticed who was also complaining; mention the same conclusion saying how they seem to choose and change their own prices for each customer (secretly including the tip money) assuming customers wouldn't noticed. That gives me the thought; that explains why I had to pay $30 for a full set which ridiculously seem overprice and a painful rip off. Possibly when the original price could be around $20-$25 instead of $30 which also gave me the idea that Nina lied about the cost by charging a more expensive price so she can get the extra $7-$10 tip and claiming another extra portion of the tip money from the client. I believe I explain my opinion coherently also mentioning how the price chart was unexpectedly changed to a much smaller font size so the customer wouldn't be able to read the prices. I have never been so upset and disappointed about spending my money, giving business to a place that has poor performance with very FOUL and superficial people. I believe other costumers will have a very disappointing experience at this disaster place as well in the future. The lowest and worst these people will attempt is ripping off the customers, using unsanitized tools, cutting client's hands, being very disrespectful towards the clients and attempting a very poor job overall. read more
