This was the first stop on a cigar crawl I organized with a group of 10 friends. Of all the places we visited that day, Hollywood has the biggest cigar selection and the most amount of comfy leather seats. In addition the proprietor was very hospitable; they don't allow BYOB, but he was kind enough to offer my party soda/water instead (which was much appreciated.) Now while I don't visit here often, I've found the place to be very unpleasant upon each visit. The customer service sucks and the workers act like you're pulling their teeth every time you enter the building. They don't help with much either, besides seat you, and give the occasional walk around. What I will tell you next is shocking. I visit here every, every so often to purchase a bottle of vape juice. Actually, the only time I do this is when it's late and no other tobacco/vape stores are open at that given time. Upon further inspection of the juice offered, I've found that all of the shit is either expired or way past it's best-by date. The shit literally looks hideous and they never add anything new; they also never throw any of the old shit away. I found out the hard way one day when I brought what I thought was a 'decent' bottle home, later to find out it tastes like shit just like the odor in their store. Now while you probably don't think it's a big deal--think about their quality control. The hookah smoking experience for example. I'm sure a lot of their tobacco is either out of date, not fresh, or just plain old shit, not to mention overpriced as f*!k. Inflated ass hookah bar with a rowdy customer base and rude employees. I would be ashamed of myself if I stepped foot inside that building again. I will now be ordering my stuff online to ensure that I won't ever have to step into this store late at night EVER again. Went here for ladies night off spare of the moment and it did not disappoint. Although there is no alcohol, we had a wonderful time cause we were tipsy before we went. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door, and seated immediately, as it was not a busy night. Harbi was our server for the night and he tended to our every need. For it to be his first week, he has been well trained and did not smother. This location Has probably Hands down some of the best hookah I've had in a while. The hot chocolate was phenomenal and rich. The flavor of the hookah was rich as well. I definitely recommend and I will be back soon! Covid awareness: They are prompt on sanitizing once a party leaves their area. You are given individual mouth pieces and the funnel is plastic wrapped for you to unwrap yourself. This was my 1st time here, and my 1st time in a hookah lounge. The place was nice, clean, and well-maintained. It has a really nice ambience and all the tobacco products you could possibly ever want. The hookah is a bit pricey, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. It would be great if they had their liquor license though. Who doesn't enjoy a good cocktail with their hookah. read more

Employees are always friendly and eager to help you select a blend for hookah if that is what you prefer. I came here with my girlfriend tonight and it was an overall enjoyable experience. The hookahs were great and they came by and replaced the coals, which is a common courtesy that not many shops around do. We ordered a peach smoothie and a mango smoothie that were both fairly priced and tasty. In regards to the people below saying how racist they are and that they only serve Arabic customers well, that is completely untrue. These gentlemen made a seat for my girlfriend and I even when they were full by rearranging chairs and bringing an extra table instead of us waiting for a spot. I am not a fan of this place. I went in a second time this week after an unpleasant first experience to give them a second chance, and it was just as bad as my first visit. They charge way too much for what you actually get, service takes a while, and I've been irked by them serving people who have come in after me, who wind up receiving their hookahs before me. The hookahs look fancy with their fruit tops, but the flavor just doesn't match. Also, and I know it really seems like I am lashing in to them, but the ventilation is just terrible. It gets uncomfortably smokey (especially with the cigar smokers in there) making staying there longer than a half hour an accomplishment. I love hookah but I'm done with Hollywood Smokes. read more

The experience I had at Hollywood Smokes was disheartening, sickening, racist. Me and a group of my friends visited Hollywood Smokes a few nights ago. (We're all black women) We were seated outside by the alley and trash right in the parking lot. Even though on the way to our seats we passed multiple open seating. From there the service we received was slow, and uninterested. It took 30 mins for them to take our orders and once they did another 25 minutes to receive it. During this time we were accused of smoking weed, which no one at the table was doing nor was there ANY weed present. Then once we finally received our hookah the coal was old and hard to pull. After deciding this was unacceptable I went to speak with the manager. I voiced our concerns in a cool, calm and collected manner and was met with yelling, accusations, and disrespect. He accused us of not having enough money to pay, wanting something free and making trouble. He threatened to call the police on me and keep screaming that he was scared even though he was the aggressor. Hollywood Smokes is racist and overall lacks good customer service and decorum. I'd advise you not to go if you value human life, being treated with respect and good service. read more

Staff was very friendly and helpful, never had to ask for assistance and they explained the process very well to new comers. They don't rush you so are able to take your time to enjoy. This place has great seating and provides a comfortable environment for Hooka and Cigar smokers. Im a daily Cigar smoker and frequent Hollywood Smokes often. The prices are very reasonable and the best part as a Cigar smoker is that they continually keep ash trays and tables clean. Additionally the ventillation is exceptional even at the busiest of times. The staff is very hospitable and they offer full service if desired. They serve a variety of non-alcoholic refreshments and snacks. This place is definitely a place to visit if you enjoy Cigars or Hooka. I have visited most of the Cigar lounges and shops in the Chicagoland area and Hollywood Smokes is one of the more comfortable "Cigar Smoking" locations I have visited. read more
