My family saw an interesting instagram post about this restaurant and was compelled to visit. Once we arrived we were seated right away. We order from a nearby Middle East restaurant and wanted to compare. We started with two appetizers, fried shrimp and grilled wings on skewers. The restaurant added to our appetizers with chickpea soup, hummus, potato and garlic purée, eggplant and garlic also pita bread, chips and a salad. Wow, we were impressed with flavors, freshness and presentation of each dish. The shrimp and wings were delicious, cooked to perfection. I loved the pita chips with hummus and potato garlic purée. And the salad had fresh veggies with a light vinaigrette dressing, very good. Our entree included the shawarma platter for four and the seafood platter. The shawarma platter had four skewers of char/grilled chicken, four skewers of ground lamb and chunks of lamb over rice. The seafood platter had four pieces of tilapia, shrimp and salmon.Well we were impressed, completely satisfied and sleepy after eating. The lamb skewers were delicious as well as the chicken, rice and grilled vegetables. We took everything home that wasn't eaten and will definitely order from"Fattous" again. Service was excellent and the prices are reasonable .

Fattoush has the most delicious Mediterranean food starting from Falafel to the garlic hummus and all the way to the kebabs! Each piece is lip smacking and when you start there's nothing as a stop to the delicious sojourn through each piece. The ambience and service is absolutely incredible and it just makes the overall experience so special! We ended up visiting Fattoush twice in a few weeks though it's so far from our home. It's absolutely worth a special treat or party too! We loved how the staff remembered us the next time we visited and thanked us for our time. They ran out of Kunafa and I have heard rave reviews so I will be going back soon!

Ayat and Mais were my host. This was my first experience and dining at the restaurant. I discovered this location via yelp search looking for lamb. The restaurant is excellent. The food was well prepared and well displayed. I had to utilize my photography skills for all to see. Enclosed is a copy of the menu This is a nice place for family dining. Somewhat romantic atmosphere also. I will return based on my dining experience with friends

We have dined in and ordered takeout from here. Everything we've had has been great! The meat is well cooked, but not dry. Falafel is crispy. The Dubai chocolate cake was delicious!

This is one of the best restaurants I ever went to! I'm so glad my friend recommended this place. The staff were so kind and attentive. They started us on a lentil soup with pita bread which paired wonderfully with the cooler weather. We got to share the Fattoush salad which was phenomenal. All our meals were delicious, and the falafel was obviously made fresh. I loved the way they decorated the inside, it was a beautiful aesthetic and I would definitely go again. And at the end of our meal, they gave us a free sample of their Arabic coffee!

Well so far I was worried this restaurant would be a bit classy when I used to be able to eat like this kind of food at this price but saw this on Worth Illinois next to other allow or Muslim based restaurants but wanted something a little more fancy but not something to break your bank. So far the grapefruit juice that the waitress recommended was fresh and not sugary that she emphasized it was freshly squeezed their pita bread that they give with split pea gravy tasted delicious it wasn't too salty and it tasted fresh. Their version of do madres was decently good and was actually affordable. Do you spinach and fresh greens possibly Swiss Chard which was fresh and healthy. I like how they delivered the lamb onions and liver with tomatoes on a hot cast iron skillet. It tasted delicious too although I've been eating liver too much which is not too good I should have ordered the regular lamb but look good on the picture of the menu. Service was good at best. If I had more money I would come over here and eat more of the lamb chops. Four out of five stars because I think I have to pay for the bottled water they gave me when I asked for water that's very unusual they don't get regular water from the tap and if they're charged me for the water that's the reason for out of five stars if it's bottled water

I like catering or carryout from here....they maintain good quality and always tastes freshly prepared. My personal favorite is the lamb kebab.

Was in the area and was craving shawarma. I saw a recent video of someone reviewing a bunch of…read moreshawarma spots in the area and decided to try their pick for number 1 for beef shawarma. It was pretty good, the best part was sitting in front of their fire oven they use to freshly bake their soft pillowy bread they use for their sandwiches. The bread was definitely the best part! Usually shawarma sandwhiches are in a wrap, but these are so much better. As far as the beef, it was good, not my favorite as far as flavor wise, but still pretty good. Fries were literally exactly like McDonald's which are the best. Glad to have tried this place for sure.

Decided on a Saturday early evening to try Nashmi after hearing a ton of raving feedback…read more As I approached, the parking lot was packed, nowhere to park, 11+ cars stacked in the parking lot waiting for the drive thru, it was chaotic. I decided to park next door at the McDonald's to avoid the mayhem. I walked into Nashmi and no line to order, however they did have 19 people working on one line, and yes I counted! After seeing that, it made me really think these guys must be busy as heck! Ambiance was nice and very clean! Tables with high top seating across the windows. Would not be an ideal place to dine in with a large group so something to keep in mind. As I approached the register, I was greeted and told I would be taken care of shortly! So far so good! I decided to order the "Nashmi Chicken Combo". I was told it was a sandwich that came with chicken tenderloin, flame grilled and served in a house made bread with garlic and pickles. Combo meant it came with 2 sandwiches and 1 order of fries and a drink. However, I didn't get my drink, it was such a confusing pickup process and no communication on to grab a soda or not. I spent $14.99 so for that much food, I guess the drink can be overlooked. I received my order, walked back to the car and now the food. I don't get it. Chicken was bland, bread was good but small, the overall sandwich was just nothing special. Maybe 5 pieces of chicken total in the sandwich. All I really tasted was the garlic sauce, which was phenomenal by the way, but I came here for the protein and the chicken was just underwhelming. The fries were equivalent to McDonald's but they were good, not seasoned or salted but still tasted good. Hot sauce was average. I ate one sandwich and felt terrible that all I ate was 80% bread and 20% chicken. I don't even eat the second sandwich. Overall not sure what everyone is waiting in line for or what this hype is. This doesn't even come close to the other middle eastern shawarma shops on Harlem Ave. I can understand if you have a very weak palate or cannot tolerate too much spice or flavor but a line out the parking lot is kinda crazy for this.
