We dined on a Sunday night around 8 PM and were seated right away, which was a great start. We ordered the mixed grill plate, a Nutella shake, and I asked for water. The salad and hummus came out within a few minutes and the food itself was actually very good. No water given at this time. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. We waited almost an hour for our main entrée, had to ask for the water again, and the Nutella shake we ordered was never served at all. Our server was not attentive throughout the night. One more thing to watch out for -- a 15% tip was automatically added to the bill, so make sure to check before paying. The meat in the mixed grill was alright. The waitress was ditzy and not too attentive. When the waitress wasn't anywhere to be found I asked the bus boy for two to go boxes, he gave me a mean look and didn't speak. The waitress didn't serve water for my guest and I. My family saw an interesting instagram post about this restaurant and was compelled to visit. Once we arrived we were seated right away. We order from a nearby Middle East restaurant and wanted to compare. We started with two appetizers, fried shrimp and grilled wings on skewers. The restaurant added to our appetizers with chickpea soup, hummus, potato and garlic purée, eggplant and garlic also pita bread, chips and a salad. Wow, we were impressed with flavors, freshness and presentation of each dish. The shrimp and wings were delicious, cooked to perfection. I loved the pita chips with hummus and potato garlic purée. And the salad had fresh veggies with a light vinaigrette dressing, very good. Our entree included the shawarma platter for four and the seafood platter. The shawarma platter had four skewers of char/grilled chicken, four skewers of ground lamb and chunks of lamb over rice. The seafood platter had four pieces of tilapia, shrimp and salmon.Well we were impressed, completely satisfied and sleepy after eating. The lamb skewers were delicious as well as the chicken, rice and grilled vegetables.We took everything home that wasn't eaten and will definitely order from"Fattous" again. Fattoush has the most delicious Mediterranean food starting from Falafel to the garlic hummus and all the way to the kebabs! Each piece is lip smacking and when you start there's nothing as a stop to the delicious sojourn through each piece. The ambience and service is absolutely incredible and it just makes the overall experience so special! We ended up visiting Fattoush twice in a few weeks though it's so far from our home. This is one of the best restaurants I ever went to! I'm so glad my friend recommended this place. The staff were so kind and attentive. They started us on a lentil soup with pita bread which paired wonderfully with the cooler weather. We got to share the Fattoush salad which was phenomenal. All our meals were delicious, and the falafel was obviously made fresh. I loved the way they decorated the inside, it was a beautiful aesthetic and I would definitely go again. We came in last night for a dinner that I haven't visited this place for a long time I used to come here all the time back in the days. However, I was really disappointed of the quality went downhill, and the prices, of course skyrocket. The chicken was so dry that you can't even eat it. The rice looks like been sitting all day you can they're famous Fattoush salad, not the same anymore! The only thing was really good is the complementary lentil soup? I'll give it five stars. I hate to put this kind of review, but I hope the restaurants will look after the quality and work on the price a little bit and the portion as well. So far the grapefruit juice that the waitress recommended was fresh and not sugary that she emphasized it was freshly squeezed their pita bread that they give with split pea gravy tasted delicious it wasn't too salty and it tasted fresh. Their version of do madres was decently good and was actually affordable. Do you spinach and fresh greens possibly Swiss Chard which was fresh and healthy. I like how they delivered the lamb onions and liver with tomatoes on a hot cast iron skillet. It tasted delicious too although I've been eating liver too much which is not too good I should have ordered the regular lamb but look good on the picture of the menu. Service was good at best. If I had more money I would come over here and eat more of the lamb chops. Four out of five stars because I think I have to pay for the bottled water they gave me when I asked for water that's very unusual they don't get regular water from the tap and if they're charged me for the water that's the reason for out of five stars if it's bottled water read more

I've been going to this place for years, have never had a complaint previously. I eat there often, multiple times month most months. I went yesterday with a party of 4 and the lamb chops were cut in half. As if the person preparing them left the bone but cut one side away. I can't tell you how much I love this place. The portions are large and it tastes like my family grilled this at home. For every entree, you get a choice of salad and a choice of spread (baba ghanoosh or hummus), along with rice. The meat is juicy over a bed of dill and spicy rice. I opted for all dill. You also get an order of pickles, spiced perfectly, with peppers. Order their cocktail drinks and dessert! Their cocktail (they are really smoothies done the same way as Jordan or Palestine) brings me back to my homeland and are a large portion. You can also enjoy a hookah after (or during) dinner. This is a fun little place for meeting up with friends and old coworkers! The restaurant is divided up into two separate spaces, north and south. The south end of the restaurant serves family style dining while the northern end is a full on hookah bar with comfy booths. Both have separate entrances so make sure you know which part of the restaurant you want to visit. I myself do not smoke, however most of my friends do, therefore I find myself dining between the two sides. Personally, I must say that their drinks are freshly made and taste phenomenal! The waiters are young, friendly, and great at maintaining a fun vibrant atmosphere. I always have a great time and make new friends when I come here! Everything is fresh and delicious. Beautiful inside, too! We wanted to try some food from another immigrant community, as we had great luck in Chicago's Chinatown earlier that day. This area had a lot of Middle Eastern restaurants so we searched and chose this one. It is not a pretty location, it is part of a 'strip mall', but the inside is lovely! Definitely nice enough for a date. The decor is beautiful, it fits the theme, and looks quite clean. I was pleased to see that Middle Eastern people were the primary customers. They wore a mix of modern and traditional clothing and I didn't feel too awkward about how I was dressed. As a woman, I was worried about how I looked. I dress like an average American mom, but I want to be respectful of others' cultures. I wore fitted bootleg-cut jeans with a high waist and a loose-fitting top that showed ~1" of decolletage. No one seemed to mind or notice. No idea what we ordered, but it was all delicious. We tried to order a little of everything, and we were not disappointed! We ordered an appetizer (dip trio, I believe) and we each additionally received a small complimentary bowl of green stuff. We did not know what it was so we dipped the flatbread in it. It was good, but soon realized it was Lentil Soup. Delicious pork-free Lentil Soup!?! Yaaaassss! There wasn't a drop left. The salad was delicious, too. Fresh ingredients, house-made dressing, and an original mix of greens and such. I was really impressed. Hard to believe a salad could be surprising, but it is! Should I tell you its flavor or let you be surprised? I would want to be surprised... I can't remember every dish we got specifically, but we did try almost every type of food. The Shawarma was fantastic and was still delicious as cold leftovers! EVERYTHING was fresh and delicious: flatbread, sauces, dressing, salad, soups are all house-made. Even the Pina Colada was made using fresh pineapple and coconut cream, not some premade mix! They were so good that I ordered one for myself after tasting the children's. My girlfriend ordered the Hawaiian mango and that was delicious she said. And then my other girlfriend ordered the relax smoothie and she said that was delicious too. This place really took me back to the Middle East. The ground beef kabob and the lamb kabob were just amazing. The hummus transported me to a different place it was so authentic and delicious. Light flavor, perfect texture and consistency. The bread they serve on top of the mixed grill was a welcome surprise. Had a nice spicy kick to it.
