We paid for our venders to all jump in line at the Buffett, as the company does not feed venders for free. Unfortunately covid struck a couple of our guests, so the count did go down from 90 to 75, because the guests who got sick did not come. As a compromise, Chef's Catering packed up some food in to-go boxes we provided, so my husband and I were set on meals for two extra days. Between the chicken and beef tips, to the grits and Mac&Cheese, the Waldorf salad and Caesar salad, to the complimentary bread/butter... everything was outstandingly delicious! We did upgrade to paying extra for crystal plating and metal silverware... I highly recommend you do too! Then she pretended to be her husband and said Mia died and he was working on getting all of her refunds sent out that week. Spoiler: she's not dead. She then came back from the dead and said that she had already refunded us (she hadn't). This has been going on for over a year and it's just shameful. Her last email was on April 24th, over 8 months ago, and she stated, "I am working on refunds. I'm sorry it's taking so long." No refund was sent and she has not responded to any emails or texts since.
