    Business is unprofessional and unresponsive to requests for quotes on their website. We have waited…read moreover 24 hours for a response or even an acknowledgment for our event. If you're going to be asking for thousands of dollars as a catering business at least please respond to customers inquiries on time or at least acknowledge them?

    So I started out looking for A caterer to come to a cabin…read moreand bring brunch a surprise for my husband's birthday. So my first interactions were ok with this company I first found them On yelp as a recommendation we had a call scheduled I never heard anything. I then searched on Instagram and seen them there items looked ok I asked for a quote it was real fair I tweaked a few things. Their requirements was half to secure your date, then the balance on the day of the event. Well, I just paid the balance and then a week or two later I paid for everything, but this was well in advance of the event. Then a snowstorm came through North Carolina. We were traveling from North Carolina and Ohio because it was a few couples coming. Some couples backed out because of the weather I still was pushing forward due to being a surprise for my husband. I then had to let him know because my cabin owner was keeping me updated on weather patterns to make sure I made an informed decision. If you know anything about North Carolina and the weather you never know how it's gonna be and we had a 3 1/2 hour drive. Well, finally the day before I had to tell my husband because the weather was getting bad and church was eve n cancelled, so my husband said it would not be safe along with the weather man, the news and shoot even chat GPT everything was against going. I had paid for everything even down to birthday cake,, and treats. I had been in communication with this company the whole time and I understand they only had to drive about 40 minutes to deliver the food but we had to drive three hours and the cabinet owner said she was worried that we will be in the dark because the power will go out. So even though they had a very tight cancellation policy in the cabin, they told us that our safety was more important. They returned all my money. I then reached out to this company for catering to let them know my plans She proceeded to tell me that I will not get any of my money back I even told her that, even though the balance was not due until the day of and I paid it earlier, I understand keeping the deposit because her time went into it. She went shopping. So yes keep the deposit. But I didn't understand how do you keep the balance when you don't even require that until you show up with food. And it even included a travel fee. She basically told me that her accountant told her to give me only 175 of my money back if I gave her a honest review this event should've took place on January 24th I did let her know that in the review I would be honest I would not fabricate just because she's offering me a few of my dollars back. I do not believe in companies paying for reviews when rightfully the balance should've came back outside of any fees if that was the case. But everyone chooses to do business their own way. I'm not writing this as an angry customer. I just want to be able to inform other others. As of today, they still have not made anything right or any good faith judgments on their part. It's OK because it was only a few dollars. But they stopped responding. But like I said, their prices seem fair. I have never tried their food but The one sister I spoke with assured me that it was amazing. So feel free to try them I love small business and I love to support, But if there could be any hiccups in your plans straight up stick to not paying them early. Because she actually told me even though my balance would not due to the day of because I paid it was not refundable. So on this instance being proactive was not good for me. In their defense, no it did not ice that morning, but later on it iced a whole lot on the Carolina's and we would have truly been stuck of we had of went on with the plans. But I guess in their mind meet you and safety cost me my money even though I told her I understood them keeping the deposit because peoples time is so valuable.
