I thought we were doing it right until I spent one day in Prague. The Schnitzel was also delicious. Perfect with the salad, the provided a blend of flavor and substance I desperately needed. Thank god this place was located steps across from our hostel (Hostel Dakura) because it served as a very fulling and appropriate meal for our first one in Prague. This place is your typical Czech beer pub with endless supply of Pilsner Urquell beer and traditional Czech cuisine. I ordered the goulash, which was super delicious!! The beef is tender and flavorful, while the bread dumplings were light and fluffy. The portions here are huge (my friend's dish literally came with a BOWL of pickles on the side--that alone can keep me stuffed for hours), and the prices are super affordable. Service is efficient and friendly and waiters can speak English.   What I love most about this place is that you really get a feel for the Czech culture. This place is located 2 train stops away from the city center--so tourists here are limited and are frequented mostly by locals.  I loved sitting amongst locals as they were chatting away, happily drinking their beers, and enjoying one another's company. They have a choice of Czech beer and other shots or drinks (if you don't drink alcohol, try the lemonaded). The food is also great.
