The "Grönsakslandet" Salad with Falafel. 100 sek.
    Blake P.

If you're looking for a healthy & filling salad, this is a good place to turn! Prices are reasonable and you get what you pay for. I had the Grönsakslandet Salad (85 sek) with falafel (15 sek) and it was a good combination of vegetables, uniquely flavor-packed pink hummus (that's a new one!), and a well paired basil lime dressing that complimented the other flavors nicely. The falafel was dry but the hummus off set it. They only had 2 types of juice left which both looked good and very reasonably priced at 45 sek each. Will be back for those! The restaurant is modestly decorated with hanging plants, a tree, and a wall of their paper bags. Seating is plentiful and it's a nice, and well-lit environment. Granted it's their first day open here, my one complaint is that they don't use any real dishes...just to-go containers with a plastic lid. I was surprised I was not asked if it was to-go or not and found this wasteful. Upon finishing my salad there and throwing it away in the restaurant (they do have sorting bins for the plastic which is nice) saw that the trash was filled with them. It would be nice and much more eco-friendly for them to offer in-house bowls!

Delicious, fresh and fun salad combos. Relaxed atmosphere despite a long line. Good value for money at about 100 kr per salad.

I love all the plants and the small details like the "HOLY WATER" sign above the water tap, it's just a great vibe.

The pain au chocolat was also excellent: crisp layers with just the right amount of dark chocolate. Coffee was smooth and rich, and refills on brewed coffee are free. The café has a relaxed vibe, and even though it was busy, the service was quick and friendly. Prices are a bit high, but worth it for the quality. Recommend if you're looking for a great coffee and pastry spot, convenient to city center. Outdoor seating if you're lucky enough to land a spot. If not, there's a nice park across the way, if you order take away.

Very good coffee and tasty sandwiches made this late afternoon 'lunch a perfect respite from a very…read morerainy day. Although the passageway where the interior seating is situated seemed awkward it actually worked out well. Service, despite a crowd, was fairly quick, I would rate the coffee an A or 9/10 on the scale of strength, low acidity/smoothness. It is espresso based and made to exact order. There are serval options for milk (whole, oat, 1/2 and 1/2, etc). The major complaint would be that there is no easy place to throw away your rubbish, nor is there a place that is clearly evident to bust your dishes, which is much needed given that this is a super busy place.. The staff is too busy to bus tables regularly, which backs up the availability of seating . This is the major reason for a one star deduction.. TIP: You can buy beans or ground coffee for home brewing.
