They were both very well balanced in terms of flavor! The environment of mahalo is conducive to staying a while and working in your computer/reading/etc. My only complaint was that their payment system was down and they didn't really want to accept cash. There's a money transfer app in the Scandinavian countries only available to bank members in those countries, so I was out of luck in terms of paying for my bill for a while until they finally agreed to just let me pay cash.

As I am a tourist, I got that crazy milkshake with a cinnamon bun on top of it just for good measure of course. The cinnamon buns in Sweden are obviously exceptional as they originated from there- crunchy on the outside and warm, melted, soft cinnamon goodness on the inside. The waffles are delicious as well, regardless of which waffle you get. All in all, this is a great place to go to if you're visiting Stockholm!

My cousin and I both had the raspberry waffle with whipped cream (75 sek, approx $8USD.). The waffle was perfectly crispy and the jam was delicious, but it wasn't a particularly filling for the price, really just a treat. They had fancier offerings as well, for a bit more money, as well as savory combinations. I overheard from a neighboring table that you can order a waffle with both whipped cream and ice cream. Where was this information when I was ordering? Oh well, next time. I would visit Älskade Traditioner again, but perhaps only for dessert. Alternatively I may try one of their savory options for a full meal.

Good place to shop if you're running of some specific organic/non dairy/soy alternative product I was hungry after the long ride and it caught my eye mostly because on that sunny day, there were benches outside and I could see that inside they displayed sandwiches and good surprise! They have hearty/meat free lunch boxes, multiple wraps, vegetarian and vegan; just asked for content's translation. The girl that day (with a bohemian/locks/green activist look) was lovely and helpful I tried a wrap made of buckwheat flour with veggies (eggplant, cabbage, mushrooms) in a curry dressing. Delicious!
