    Beautiful gift bag

Went to a Summer Solstice art party. We walked into a thoughtfully (and beautifully) curated shop: snacks, ceramics, books, greeting cards, etc. In a small room to the left, a woman was providing a sound bath while kids and parents were making art. The hallway had more functional lovely art: colorful hand blown glass pitchers and vases. The final room was the art show- a whimsical collection curated by artist (and my fav DJ, which is why we went) Leonard Croskey. LC was spinning bangers outside on the patio. On the way out, we bought some snacks and a cookbook. I'm so excited to go try out a yoga class soon. It's a really cool space, which serves the community. I met the owner, Lisa. She's basically a one woman show and still, she manages to make her customers feel welcome. I don't live in the neighborhood, but I'll return, because there aren't enough spaces like this- inclusive, artistic, spiritual and serving the community.

The owner was rude - horrible shopping experience all around. Nothing there worth the price.

We are always curious to see what new finds they have on display. This is one of those local gems that we hope stays in the neighborhood a long, long time. There is always something funny, clever, or creative to explore. Many of their items are unique to the LA area or support local creatives. We've bought countless gifts for family, friends, and let's admit it - ourselves - here. They manage to include a wide variety of housewares, games, books, toys, art and craft supplies, jewelry, decor, and accessories into a cozy shop. There is an assortment of cards for life's many occasions, with creative sentiments and plenty of personality to express what you can't always find the words to communicate. We have spent many happy afternoons just browsing through the aisles and considering what we might want to buy. Upon reaching the register, there is always a friendly face to greet you and offer to wrap your purchases if they are gifts. We love that they take the time to select a combination of ribbon colors with the type of gift and recipient in mind! Thank you Lundeen's for being a bright spot in the city that offers genuine friendly service and real personality, and an opportunity to see and hold things before you buy them - a nice alternative to endless scrolling through online web stores!

We didn't know the family or child well, only that he was turning four and has an older brother. I purposely wanted to shop local and support an independent business, and a quick search on Yelp led me here. We arrived about an hour before closing on Saturday, which was great because parking meters end at 4pm and we found parking out front easily. We were greeted by an employee behind the desk as we walked in. She asked if there was anything she could help us find, and I let her know we were first time customers looking for a birthday gift with the details mentioned above. She let us know the layout of the store, her suggestions, but let us look freely. Over time more customers arrived with small children, and received the same courteous service. The store is clean and curated. I appreciated seeing well made toys and items inspiring imaginative play, rather than cheap plastic with distracting lights or sounds. I eventually chose a doctor play set as well as some items for my own children, such as animal figures and stamp markers. They offer free gift wrapping, which is a nice touch. The one alarming fact that stood out is that there were many empty storefronts on their block, so it's more important than ever to support our local economy. Their prices reflect investment in well made items, so I would not come here expecting big box store deals. In a world full of Target and Amazon, I would rather spend my money supporting a local, independent business. We had a great experience here and will definitely be back with our kids this holiday season.

It's all gifts and cute stuff, fun things and just an adorable-ness overload with some anime and Kpop stuff thrown in. I'm 100 years old and my friends & I loved Mashimaro when we were little! I was SO happy to see a black and gray Mashimaro tote in the store. It was overpriced at $80, as are most things in here, but it's not absolutely terrible pricing. I mean it's vintage at this point, lol. In general, the pricing here isn't quite as bad as you'd think within a mall. The store is overpacked with items squeezed in to maximize the small store space. I think the merchandise may have been upgraded since reviews from several years ago because I didn't see anything that was not decent to high quality. I'll definitely shop here again.
