If you're fancy like me, I don't see why you wouldn't like this shop! Right next to the food court at Koreatown Plaza, I usually pop in before a bite. Now I don't usually bring other people's reviews into my own, but...Did someone really give 1 star because they bought what they thought was the real Stanley Cup? ^_^ Well, you won't find stuff like that here. It's all gifts and cute stuff, fun things and just an adorable-ness overload with some anime and Kpop stuff thrown in. I'm 100 years old and my friends & I loved Mashimaro when we were little! I was SO happy to see a black and gray Mashimaro tote in the store. It was overpriced at $80, as are most things in here, but it's not absolutely terrible pricing. I mean it's vintage at this point, lol. In general, the pricing here isn't quite as bad as you'd think within a mall. The store is overpacked with items squeezed in to maximize the small store space. I think the merchandise may have been upgraded since reviews from several years ago because I didn't see anything that was not decent to high quality. I'll definitely shop here again. read more

Love this store. They have really cute sanrio merch that's reasonably priced. Please keep in mind that this stuff is from overseas and with the current climate, things will be a bit pricier. Came here randomly because my girlfriend was looking on Instagram reels and she found out they sell Labubu feminine clothes. There were a lot of people in the store and of course they were eyeing the popular Labubu merch. They have Labubu blind boxes priced at $80+, clothes ($15-$18), car seats ($13+), pouch bag ($13+), lace pouch ($13+), clear cases ($13+), sunglasses ($6+), and photo cases. Other merch include pokemon cards and plushies , cute sanrio and other cute plushies, pens, markers, Stanley cups, lead pencils, lead, fans, backpacks, and etc.. Overpriced but people will buy it and of course me for gifts. Store owner is nice but I can tell he's one to keep eyes on people. It's located in a Ktown mall on the first floor. SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESSES!!!! I don't usually leave Yelp reviews, but I felt the need to speak up for this place. Fancy House is a small, local business in K-town. I saw a review claiming the Labubus here are fake, which is just NOT true. I've personally bought several Labubu figures from this store and verified each one through the official Popmart site -- they're 100% authentic. If anyone has doubts, feel free to message me. I'm happy to show proof. I'll even include a picture of one I bought from here just two days ago with a screenshot of the Popmart authentication page AND the QR code (I pulled the secret Have a Seat!!!!!!! They apparently also have great juju here lol). Beyond that, the store is well-stocked and clearly run by people who keep up with what's trending. Tons of cute merch, from Sanrio to Pokémon (they even have Pokémon cards!!!), and a really solid selection of blind boxes. Love this store!!! read more

I passed this little shop while I was about to go into the KTP Food Court and I HAD to look around. I always love going into these kinds of shops. I loved the Demon Slayer, Pokémon, and Gudetama items they had. I ended up leaving with a $2.99 pair of Squirtle Socks and a $3 pack of Korean Pokémon Cards (English set equivalent: SwSh Battle Styles). I even pulled a Korean Tapu Koko V! I was very satisfied with the appearance of the shop and my purchase. I've seen so many reviewers leave negative comments about how expensive things are. These people need to realize that these are virtually all imported/foreign goods. It's going to be more expensive because of shipping/tariff costs associated with getting them overseas. The prices are exactly what they should be. 100% satisfied with this visit. read more

Cute stuff but the staff is really rude, would not recommend browsing because they will follow you. My friend picked up a toy and the lady came grabbed it and got mad and kept sighing near us as if we were bothering her. Felt super unwelcomed here and will not be coming again, which is a shame because they have cute things. When I went to the store and started to look around and started to touch some things like barely 2 things the old man who is probably the owner got up and basically yelled at me for touching to many items and it was barely 2 things. Don't ever go there if u don't want to feel annoyed or get yelled at. If the owner ( the old man ) sees u touching too much stuff, even though you are not, he will start to follow you around the store. I went there to get a car"toy" for my nephew. After the payment, I was waiting for the receipt, but then the owner (old man) trashed it by himself....I thought that was strange.... Later, that toy was broken and obviously I can't do exchange because of no receipt. The owner already knew that "toy" was broken... what a thief!! read more

Came to this store ever since I was a kid. They still sell stickers and keychains with K-POP stars. The best section is the stationary wall on the left! Very cute cards and snail mail goodies. Gotta love the Engrish! read more

Everything in the store is pretty crap quality, yet it's extremely overpriced. I googled a few of the items they had in there to compare prices and they basically just bumped up the regular prices of everything by double. The employee there (an older man, possibly the owner) clearly has a fear of customers browsing the store. He followed us around trying to act inconspicuous like he was stocking/sorting or something but he was just watching us closely. Then another set of customers came in and he clearly became extremely overwhelmed that he now had to keep an eye on more customers. So in conclusion, they basically don't want people shopping here, unless perhaps you come in to buy something quickly and don't browse for more than 20 seconds. read more

A sweet couple run this place, very helpful not overbearing like some of the other shops I visited there, Really loved the amount of kpop and pororo items they had at reasonable prices! with permisson I appreciate that they even let me take photos! My friend from Texas wanted some kpop items too so it made it easier for her to decide via text. I made one kpop purchase and came back to buy more since it was cheaper here than music plaza. Also bought an adorable pororo purse. At the end of my transaction they even gave me a free 2pm calendar, although an older calendar they knew I'd appreciate the photos that were in it! ! read more

This store has a lot of cute stuff. It's overpriced in the way most of the stores of this type I've seen in LA have been. The issue is the staff. I've been followed around when I went in with my friends. I went in with my sister in a separate occasion and she speaks Korean. She overheard the cashier tell another staff member "these white girls aren't going to buy anything. Why did they come in?" My sister didn't tell me until I left the store or I wouldn't have bought anything at all and told them why. Don't assume people don't speak your language even when you don't think they look like someone who would. read more

I wish I could give a negative star for this store! The cashier there, probably the owner, doesn't let kids walk around the store and touch anything. Literally! My daughter picked up an eraser and he literally yelled at me for letting her touch the eraser?!! How crazy is that? He even hit my hand so I ended up calling the police here.
