This is not a good course or experience. Most holes have the surface ripped up. 1/2 the holes your ball will be stuck to a side wall and at such a slope, there is no way to putt. Save your $10 and do something else or drive a few miles to the next course. Horrible read more

This course was a waste of $11! Greenery was over grown and could be takin care of very easily. Most of the holes were on a slant so your ball always ended up on a wall making it impossible to putt. read more

It's the third time we've been here. Love the challenges. This is great for kids and adults. The only downfall I have is that there could be some maintenance done on the greens. It's not terrible, but for how much you're paying, some work could be done every year. The staff is friendly. We will be back. Tip - check the travel books in town for coupons. read more

This was a joke. It's 9 bucks, which is too much for mini golf, ever. But it looks kind of cool from the road, making its way up the side of a hill. All of that cool looking stuff you see, though, is just dressing. The course itself is uninspired and unfair. I don't mind a challenge, it's just that when you have two holes that are about a 50 degree slope with a hole on the top, you make it kind of impossible to get the ball in the hole. It's not fun to stand at the bottom of a hill, hit the ball up, and have it roll back to you until you decide to take a 6 and move on. The non-hilly holes are guilty of maybe a worse sin - being boring. They have no fun obstacles, no interesting twists and turns. Nothing. This is probably the worst mini-golf course I've ever played. read more

Don't waste your money here!! Almost all of the green are torn up and every single hole is on some sort of slope. I couldn't even set the ball without it rolling on some of the holes! More of a game of luck than any kind of skill. read more

Expensive and the turf is in terrible shape. Multiple areas where it is ripped and pulling up. Many of the holes are on slopes which makes putting tough. Not worth the money. read more

Whoever laid the concrete to this course must've been drunk because multiple holes all slope down to one spot making it virtually impossible to advance the ball in some places. The place has potential but I was very disappointed and one of the worst mini golf experiences I've had. read more

I give a one star, it was a nice location, way overpriced! Most of the holes here so slanted that all of our groups balls always ended up in one spot! (There were 9 of us), I was severely disappointed to pay so much and have two of the hole submersed in water, so bad we couldn't even play them! It definitely needs some work done. read more

Super disappointed....the location is stunning unfortunately the guy working there didn't know how to give change back when the register wasn't working. As far as the experience probably the worst mini golf I have ever had..no cool obstacles and most holes are uneven due to shifting of land and the ball rolls to one side or another no matter what...this was my daughters first experience with mini golf very disappointing. It's definitely time for a major renovation to update the corse and make it more fun for all ages! read more

No cool features or challenges and not even beautiful landscaping besides the backdrop of the black hills. Save your money and don't disappoint your kids. read more

Either poorly designed or poorly constructed. Many holes have systematic slopes (perhaps as a result of settling of the hill that the course is built upon) that push balls completely to the edge of the course, even with a good putt. Carpet may have prevented the roll-off at one time but very worn now. Simply not worth the money, even when accounting for the elevated prices of a tourist area. read more

This course is one of the worse I've ever played. Not saying its horrible, it's just not kept up very well and while most of the course was quite boring there was a couple that were impossible to get. It's definitely better than nothing but there are others around that are better. They did only charge $5 per ticket since the water wasn't running so that made it more worth it. read more

Darn near impossible to play about half the holes due to a mountain( have to hit up a huge hill) but had fun anyway.

Yes, it could use some upkeep, but this mini golf was fun for us (2 adults and a 7-year old).

This was a tough miniature golf course! I've played it about three times and sometimes it just gets demoralizing. Some of the holes have such crazy slopes that if you don't hit your shot perfectly, the ball will come rolling back to where you started, which is a little over the top. Love this place! I grew up in Custer, SD and we had a group that would routinely make a trip to Keystone just to play this mini golf course. It is challenging for great short gamers, and always a blast to play. I have never had a bad experience with Holy Terror, and I will continue to putt there. read more
