I attended a service with my 4 mo. old son for Ash Wednesday, it was a great service and felt very comfortable. Recently moved to the area and this church is walking distance from home. I was very much looking to being part of this community and possibly meeting young families in the area. Until..... service was over and I approached a yellow haired old lady who was ushering and passing out pamphlets The weekly news for the parish, feeling how comfortable I felt thought out the service I perhaps though she maybe warming and helpful oh, was I wrong! I simply asked her if Spanish Mass was offered on Saturday, or Sunday? She looked at me and Shook her head with a short "No" and immediately looked away from me as if my son and I didn't exist. I truly felt she was even a little disgusted that I had the nerve to as such a question. Needless, to say I haven't returned to this Church. Because, if this is any indication of people at the bottom of the totem pole are running this community. I know my son and I will never be welcomed. I found another church to call home Definitely no racist old bitter women volunteering their time and truly following the path that Jesus paved where people are not above you, or below you, and we are all side by side. read more

I found this church on Yelp, as my parents and I wanted to find a Saturday mass that was after our wineries and outlet shopping and on the way back to town. Unfortunately, the air conditioning unit was broken and it was very warm inside the church. Father Dave did his best to make light of the situation, wishing he could blame the deacon but promised that it should be fixed soon. He even made sure to make the homily short and sweet so us parishioners didn't have to stand the heat for too long! You could tell the congregation was very friendly, from the moment you entered the church to when it was time to say "Peace be with you." I wouldn't hesitate to come back again if I was ever lucky enough to re-visit Portland. God bless you, Yelp! read more

I love this church! I've gone to many different Catholic churches growing up and nothing compares to Holy Trinity... Nothing. This church has such a strong community that you feel welcomed and loved. There's great music, wonderful people, and beautiful homilies. read more

Great community! I haven't been to church in a while and I recently moved to Portland but this didn't stop everyone from being so welcoming and encouraging me to keep returning. If you go for the 9:30am mass on Sundays, arrive early! I parked on the street, had to squeeze in a row and man it was crowded. I did like how they provided bags and a list of what is needed to provide Thanksgiving meals to those who need them. It made shopping easy and helped me actually follow through with filling the bag! And the priest, he was making jokes and really connected with the attendees. This is a priest who cares about the community. I see you see again Holy Trinity! read more

Holy Trinity Catholic Church is nestled within the city of Beaverton, but only a couple blocks away from the Nike Campus and Chinatown restaurant. It's about 1-1.5 miles away from the 26 freeway if you exit off of Murray and head South before you turn left on Walker Rd. MASSES: Saturday: 5:30 PM Sunday: 8 AM, 9:30 AM, 11:15 AM RECONCILIATION: Saturday: 4-5 PM Holy Trinity reminds me of St. Philomena AKA "St. Filipino", back home in Carson, CA. I think it's because the church is modern, the masses are always crowded and that I find many fellow Filipino parishoners. Unlike other Catholic churches in the area, the pews have padded seats (maybe that's why it's so crowded here)! What I enjoy the most from attending mass here are the sermons from the priest. His sermons are funny, straight to the point and powerful. I also like the choir, they have a nice section dedicated to the live music. My only gripes about this place is that they have a bad parking lot. With the amount of people attending the masses here, you can imagine the parking lot looking like Christmas shopping at the mall. Attended mass there many times. Many parishioners, love the music, and mostly love Father Dave's sermons.

An amazing church with a wonderful pastor and a very friendly community. Father Dave is an incredibly gifted priest. The sermons are impeccable and he dedicates his life to church activity. He is very down to earth and is very realistic about applying church doctrine to real world situations. He does this in a minimal amount of time too, so you won't catch him rambling in the homilies. The community is outstanding. There are several cultural groups that are represented that throw magnificent parties and events. There are bible studies and youth groups for all ages. I'd say this is one of the best in Beaverton and recommend that you give it a shot! read more

i was forced to go to mass. need i say more. plusses: 1. the priest was amusing and succinct (he read a short story for the sermon - and it was actually a funny story) 2. the choir was entertaining and included clapping in some songs - I like the interactivity 3. nice woodwork minus: a history of oppressive and patriarchal hierarchy responsible for the death and decimation of hundreds of indigenous populations, cultures and languages. ahhhh catholicism! read more

I'm used to churches with very little parking and too many attendants but maybe there are a lot more Catholic churches here than in California. The mass times here are perfect, I love attending the 11:15am. I arrive 15 mins early and always find parking in the front for easy entrance and exit access. I also always find a seat and have never had to stand. The priest has a very clear voice so I understand all of his homilies and thoroughly enjoy listening to them too. You can tell he puts a lot of time and effort into preparing for each mass and always tries to have the audience participate which makes it more enjoyable. I'm used to having to arrive an hour early on big holidays like Easter and Christmas but you can arrive 20 mins prior and still find a seat! The location is great too - right off the 26 fwy and right by Roxy's so you can grab some great Hawaiian food afterwards for lunch! Prior to mass, there is usually a traffic officer directing traffic flow so it's never too chaotic/stressful getting in and out of the parking lot. read more

I've been a member for nearly 30 years and the experience has always been good but the past five years have been the best. The sense of welcoming and community have always been there but there is a special vibrancy that has resulted from an involved parishioner base and an inspiring pastor, Fr. Dave. The liturgies are succinct and engaging, I'm partial to the energetic music at the Saturday 5:30 Mass. Fr. Dave's homilies make you think for the whole week and if you're looking to get involved in the parish there are plenty of enriching ministries. The parish has grown in numbers with young families from nearby Nike and Intel. Check it out. You won't be disappointed. read more
