Very welcoming church Very well organized congregation I always recommend to get involved in the church, volunteer your time and talents at least for one service Plenty to choose from like an Eucharist minister, usher, lector, etc

Holy Trinity is a beautiful new Catholic Church here in the Ladera Ranch community. They did a wonderful job with the architecture and the people and clergy are extremely inviting. I myself come from the San Francisco Solano congregation, as they were the closest Catholic Church before Trinity. However I've made the switch due to many factors, but also the proximity to home. If your are looking to join a local Catholic community or interested in trying a new church, come and see what Holy Trinity has to offer. :)

Overflow seating and standing only for those who arrive on time!

Ask the Community - Holy Trinity Catholic Church

Is there a soundproof children's room at this church?

While technically there is no children's room the entrance hall can be used for this purpose. Glass doors allow viewing the service, speakers to hear the service and bathrooms next door.

I am moving this week and they have gone out of their way to see if there is anything I need. The message was really good! It really encouraged me. This place has a way of truly lifting your spirits. The worship team was very talented, and I loved how they had a fresh word from God to give. Last year, and a bit of this year was rough... but wow did God bring me through it! I wanted to find a place where I could just go listen to the word, and thank Him for all he's done for me. I haven't had a church family in some time, and I know this is the right place for me. These people are ALL truly alive! You can see it in their faces. If you're not a Christian, don't like waking up early, and or don't like churchy people...just try this place. All I can say is I came in one way, and I left with joy in my heart and perfect peace of mind. It's Tuesday, and I am counting the days until I go back again :)

I forced myself to go here this morning and I was pleasantly surprised by my visit. Note: I walked out of the last church I visited after 5 minutes. I have criteria that I look for in a church, such as: *good lighting - check, I was impressed with the excellent interior and natural lighting from clerestory *no stupid, creepy religious outfit or robe on pastor - check *pastor looks normal and doesn't feel reptilian - check *pastor doesn't have a used car salesman mentality - check *pastor doesn't ramble on about stupid things his kids did - check *church is not in an office building, warehouse or school - check *good music - check *members aren't a bunch of controlling, old people - check *people are friendly - check *no talk about politics - check So far, this place is good. Hopefully it continues that way.

I love Living Waters Church!…read more Pastor Brett Peterson is truly a great shepherd. Not only does he teach the word of God in an unadulterated fashion, he spends time with his flock and ministers to them. He gives back to the community as a fire chaplain for OCFA, and also ministers to people in their last moments of life, as a hospice Chaplain. Pastor Brett has poured into my life many times as when I call him for counsel and advice. He makes himself available at all hours and is always happy to take my call. His sermons are well planned out, yet yielded to the Holy Spirit's guidance. He is led by the Lord and obediently follows His voice. He's definitely not your average pastor. Although he preaches the Bible with love and compassion, he has no problem confronting false doctrine... but he does so with the love of the Lord, yet firm. If you're looking for a church with a shepherding pastor, and the heart of Christ, look no further....you've found the right place!

He stayed with us and talked about our Lord and heaven while we waited six hours for the coroner. Even though this was the second time we had lost a son, as he spoke we were filled with a peace that can only come from God. The bible speaks of this. My husband and I had been raised in a large structured religion where we never learned how to read the bible. We didn't even own one. We started attending Living Water Community Church the following week. We were surrounded by the kindest, most loving and supportive group of people we had ever known! We have been attending this church ever since. We have been fed every week with the word of God straight from the bible. ( HIS blueprint for our lives!!!) We have been so blessed by this wonderful small church over the years. I liken it to wearing my shoes on the right feet for the first time in my life!!!

Mariners Church has had such a meaningful impact on my life. I've seen some comments questioning…read morewhy the church talks about giving or donations, but I think it's important to recognize how much Mariners does for the community. The church supports so many ministries, outreach programs, families, children, and people in need. It is also continuing to grow and reach more people, and a church of this size naturally requires resources to maintain its campuses, serve the community, and continue spreading the Word of God. I also participated in the Rooted program, and I can honestly say it transformed my life. It helped me grow in my faith, build genuine relationships, become more vulnerable, and develop a much deeper connection with God. I would highly recommend Rooted to anyone who wants more than simply attending church on Sundays and is ready to experience real spiritual growth and community. I have had such a positive experience with the pastors and leaders at Mariners. The messages are thoughtful, relatable, and grounded in Scripture, while still speaking to the real challenges people face in everyday life. I often leave feeling encouraged, challenged, and inspired to live with greater purpose. I genuinely love going to church here. Mariners has helped me feel welcomed, supported, and closer to God, and I'm incredibly grateful for the ways this church continues to serve and inspire its community.

I had a really disappointing experience of Mariners Church. The first time I ever came, the pastor…read moretalked for nearly 20 minutes about how they didn't hit their financial quota (mind you, they had received at least $10 million dollars which were displayed in progress charts on the screens). The pastor then went on to say "For some of you in here, donating $1 million is so small it's like donating $10. We need this to build our new expansion of the campus" When I come to Church, I want to worship Jesus. I don't want to be given a lecture on the Church's financial position. To me, it felt like the leaders of the Church were ungrateful for the tens of millions of dollars they already received and were fully money driven, but I brushed it aside and tried my best to overlook this first impression. I continued giving Mariners a chance and some of their worship services were really good. Later on, I joined Rooted with my fiancé. We asked to be placed in the same group so we could experience it together. The staff was very rude to us hearing our request and immediately said this wasn't allowed, we had to be married to be in the same learning group. So we left and didn't go back to another Rooted session as it completely rubbed us the wrong way. Finally, at one of the services we attended, we were through the Cleansing of The Temple story in the Bible. This story talks about how Jesus drove merchants and money changers out of the Temple in Jerusalem. People had turned this sacred space into a bustling, profitable marketplace, which Jesus declared that his Father's house should be a house of prayer for all nations, rather than a place of business. However, the Pastor brought in a counterargument saying "Well isn't Mariners Church doing the exact same thing that Jesus said not to do?" Given they have bookstores, cafes, a boutique, etc. on their campus? And the Pastor rebuttals his counterargument with "Well no, because we don't sell anything while service is going on". Through my multiple negative experiences of Mariners, I'm really sad to say that I can no longer support attending this Church for the time being. I pray that this Church will be better.
