However, if you need a church family, warmth, and connection - pcc may not be your place. The pastor never once said hello to me after service - in 1.5 years. I am a mom who went alone with my daughter and I really needed to feel connected and accepted and welcomed. I felt almost as alone and invisible there after 1.5 years as I did the first day. I emailed the pastor about this, and he didn't respond to my email. So yes they have fantastic sermons (which you can watch online) and great music. And I did make a solitary friend or two. But for me at least - that was it. Visited another local church the past few sundays. the pastor greeted me warmly on the 2nd visit. I've gone 3 times and so many people have come up and introduced themselves to me - it was fantastic and heartwarming. So I've left pcc. I don't think anyone noticed.

First off, they had an amazing spread of delicious treats for everyone to enjoy, including a beautiful gingerbread cookie table! They had apple cider, hot chocolate and Bear Coast coffee. They even had a Christmas train and sledding! It was magical. The service itself was lovely too and I really appreciated the music with the orchestra. The musicians are extremely talented. I enjoyed the candles they let us use during the service too. Lastly, I can tell they have a great community, because everyone was very warm and welcoming.

We want to be a people where the homeless know they can find food, the broken can find healing, and the rejected feel at home. We want people to see our diversity of backgrounds and color and say, "What in the world to these people have in common? It's where one group is working to care for local drug addicts and another is training teachers in Malawi. It's where you will find normal people learning to pray, coming to faith, struggling with temptation, finding new purpose, and getting in touch with His power to carry that purpose out. It's where people bring their own little seed of faith in Jesus and discover, in getting together with others to honor the one true God, that the whole becomes greater than the sum of its parts. We know that no church is like this all the time. But there are quite a few churches who are partly like this for quite a lot of the time. I really enjoy the main pastor's delivery which often includes storytelling, historical context, and an explanation of the actual scripture language used. That may be my favorite part boiling down ancient teachings to terms that are easy to understand. Should you decide to get more involved, there are many different ongoing service opportunities. They actually will support you if there is a cause you care about and want to start your own service initiative for others to plug into. Last, if you have kids, there a two different rooms to drop them off to do crafts and activities that vary by their age. Branches is a good group people up to great things. Definitely worth checking out if you are on a "church search."

The head pastor, Chris, is young, smart, witty, extremely knowledgeable and makes you feel welcome. The youth pastor Casey is terrific, engaging and gets to know every student and their family. My daughter and I have become more involved over the past two years and love volunteering and being part of the church family. The 9am service is traditional with our amazing choir and the 10:30am service is modern with a terrific live band!

Pastor John Randall is a gifted teacher. He displays humility and his knowledge of the bible is amazing. He teaches so you understand the Word. His wife Michelle Randall is a brilliant leader and teacher in the Women's ministry. Both Michelle and John have authored books. Their commitment and dedication to the church is unwavering and consistent. The worship team invites the Holy Spirit into the atmosphere. There are wonderful ministries and resources available to all ages. I feel blessed this is my church home.

Twice as a guest speaker at the church that I attend Calvary Chapel Golden Springs in Diamond Bar and also when Pastor John Randall was our tour guide speaker in Israel. The service was great and I enjoyed the study. Almost everything pertained to what I was going through that day. So what he spoke about really helped. Nice personal touch on how everyone is really sincere on greeting you like they've known you for decades.
